That's my point, people there make less, have less disposable income and can't afford or are not willing to pay more, so prices are down. Vegas is a tourist trap where idiots go to just burn through money for fun. That includes prostitutes so they can charge more. Where prostitution is legal in Nevada it is expensive because prohibition everywhere else means people travel and are willing to pay more.

Lets say $400/ day (100 k / year) is a decent salary in the dmv, and I think it's fair to say there's strong resistance at paying 400/ hr (full day of pay for an hour visit). Lets suppose $150 is a decent salary in Portugal (someone posted income there is 1/3 of here). That $150 you paid without blinking an eye, is a full days pay for some guy in Lisbon with a decent salary. He may be complaining all we have to do is not pay these outrageous $150/ hr prices. Were you willing to pass on the $150 girl to help keep prices down. No. To you it was just $150. In Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun, median income is approximately $125 k / year. HALF the households in this area make over 125 k. And plenty make 200 k or more. It's literally not worth their time to be bothered by a hundred here or there.
