About two men going around robbing escorts, in Salem and Arlington. Did any of you guys see that warning? They told me it was on backpage either Monday or Tuesday of last week. So apparently escorts were afraid to report the robberies, because they thought that THEY would be arrested too! And of course backpage will be blamed for the murder, just like with the craigslist murder in Boston. I hope backpage doesn't get closed down for this. Other areas escorts have been targets of crime, from murders to robberies and it's not because of backpage, it's because of the laws criminalizing sex work. Criminals wouldn't target sex worker's thinking that we are easy targets and that we wouldn't report them.
