Finally had the chance to hit the run down sully with extended time for holiday (Mon). Mid afternoon to say it was slow was understatement, made a couple loops and opted to grab some food and check back later. There is definitely an initiative going on Friday. I saw a guy get picked up by his Aunt standing on the corner by Sam's drive thru. A marked cruiser and one unmarked had the car blocked in, the Aunt I believe had taken off her tank and had an LEO shirt. They had the guy in cuffs. All within a few minutes they were out of there with the car was towed like nothing happened. Obviously, this guy was pretty brazen with his approach, but just thought I'd share a first person encounter.

I was in town last week and did the loop.
