Caution is always appropriate when dealing with delicate matters. Merely viewing a site, even one such as this, is not an illegal activity, in fact nothing posted there will stand on its own merits in a court of law. The bigger issue is that of what could possibly come from such a site being compromised. Providers who have been identified as "safe" in the past are highly unlikely to be somehow compromised by the current action. Maintaining a low profile and flying under the radar is usually the best course of action at any time in any endeavor such as this. The government has had the ability to out each and every one of us at any time that it so chooses. The internet has been so compromised by the government for "homeland security" issues that to think that we have created any sanctuary from the eyes of our big brother in the. See, is an illusion. If you perceive your anonymity as being secure on the internet then you are only deluding yourself. Of course this is just my opinion and I appreciate this opportunity to express it.

Up until the "raid" it was staying on Verizon's net and ending in Philly, now it's landing in Va on the same network as TER did right after it got popped a few years back.

Two weeks after that the TER website's DNS entries and hosting moved to an ISP in Amsterdam.

My bet is that we're seeing the servers on their way out of the US.

My trace route terminated at the 208 address. Did it multiple times. Prolly a geographic load balancer.

Ha! Do ya blame them? I'm surprised they weren't set up offshore years ago. Ah well, learning by hindsight is still learning at least. .

Here's the gist of it all: BigD*ie was busted in a similar raid a number of years ago. The goal was to bust both the website owners and the advertising providers. Even if LE has your IP address (and they do. Even if you haven't logged on since the bust, and even if they have your billing info (if you actually used a 'real' credit card, they cannot come and arrest you.

They have to either 1) catch you in the act agreeing to exchange goods for services, or 2) one person (the provider or client) needs to testify against the other. In the BigD*ie bust, the primary reason the providers were let go is because the clients would not publicly testify against them. This should serve as yet another reminder to everyone on the board. If you are questioned by the police SHUT UP! Don't make up excuses or false stories. Don't try to explain. Don't open your mouth. Period.

But don't take my word for it. Read the info in the attached thread for yourself, and then make your own determination.

I say all this regardless of the fact that we have no real of idea of exactly what they were looking for in the bust. There were IRS agents there. So I wonder if this is more about tax evasion than busting individual providers. In any case, the point is, no one knows.

Gents and ladies if present: I work for state governments, four of them. Prior to that I ran six firms from coast to coast, I know the law.

So far the one I know for sure goes by the name of mercedes and kandie and various other ignorant spellings. She is black and used a 305 area code and a 574 area code. She resides in northern indiana or possibly florida, not sure which. If you seen her or called her or texted her then your number is probably on the list.

I pulled a few fast strings to find that out. I have connections and want to pass this along.

I am a lover of women first and a hobbyist for life. I don't wish to see anyone get in trouble for fucking.

I have worked in the office of some fairly well known criminal attorneys. The criminal attorneys get to see the nasty side of the city (as thats their bread and butter) the ecom case is about the irs wanting tax money and probably some ties to organized crime rip offs with web sites. The FBI does not give a hoot about a guy balling a SW in some cheap hotel room or a van. Cases involving raids always have something to do with tax money or organized crime rings not the customer who just wanted to get away from his wifey for some lollipop maitenance.
