They also cannot search your pockets vehicle or cell phone without a warrant or permission. Be kind, complaint and firm that you do not answer questions without an attorney and you do no consent to searches. You are never required to help them in any investigation.

You can also set the VPN to a different area before you log in, and then afterwards switch it back to whatever area you had.
