But before the pavement ends the woman's descent, a few feet from a restaurant's glittering Christmas tree, imagine her fall suddenly suspended — her body freeze-framed in midair. If only for a moment.

The only good thing about those constant spam ads in STG is that some of the models in the ads have a nice set of boobs. It makes for nice viewing.

So a couple days ago some guy from (203) 658-6963 calls my number 3 times in a row. On the last call he leaves a message saying he is from the FBI:

We need to ask you some questions regarding a criminal investigation on prostitution.

I searched the number and it looks like it's a VOIP number in Stamford. I didn't call the guy back and I abandoned the Google voice number immediately. My guess it was just a scammer (like the IRS ones I get often) but it was enough to shake me for a minute. Anyone else get a call like that?

Google the number. You're likely to see a slew of posts from others who have gotten the same robo-call. Probably a scam.

They will mask their real number with a number that you are more likely to answer.

I also used a Google number that is accessed through 2 vpns so even if true it will be hard to trace. I dumped the number right away and haven't had any contact otherwise since. Stay safe everyone.

State of CT Labor closed down 24 nail salons for labor violations. Reminiscent of the the recent Torrington shut down of massage parlors for the same reasons. I wonder if they checked to see if any of the Asian employees were trafficked?

Just a thought.[/QUOTE]You have to pay attention to the tone of voice there vernacular an assertion also pay attention if you hear voices phones or radios in the background that's how you'll know it's real but most likely it's a scammer but who knows tough to say without actually doing research but I have this happen to me a while back turns out it was actually true and LEO but the provider had my name and a small nickname and apparently blur so she can remember who it was calling her or she new exactly what town turns out she got arrested and it will call in the last number she contacted luckily she had my burn number untraceable so I just deleted that I never called back even if it was real you don't want to call back you'll be dumb even though it's after the fact but that's a whole nother can of worms you do not want to open.
