I have long wondered about the writing abilities of some of the correspondents who post here and elsewhere. Nothing beats a well-constructed sentence and paragraph and report.

As one who comes into contact with many who try to write, I can sympathize with those who try and fail. There are many out there who cannot write a simple sentence: subject, verb, object, etc. Others who check in may have English as a second language. Others may have not been paying attention in school, and still more may simply be a little over the edge with drink or pot.

It's probably a little too much to expect fine writing here, but I agree with Pilot Pete: We should have some standards, though who knows what they will be or who will enforce them.

I have seen the woman LawDavid20 is talking about more than once and I don't know where he gets his information. She is delightful; she gives a great massage with the best HE I have experienced. I also get messages from people claiming to be friends, relatives etc. Saying they are in jail, need $$$ for bail, but to send it to some dude's bank account.

I'm on a couple of free dating sites. They (pretending to be female) will message for a couple days, say they want to meet.

Then all of a suden, they're in a distant land needing $$$ because some one stole everything except their Passport & phone.

Can't they come up with something new? (LOL)

I've gotten that email, worded nearly exactly like that, from a real friend. I called him to ask if he was OK, and he said,"Yep, and you're the 9th friend to call in the last 4 hours. I'm OK, and not in need of money. Somebody must have hacked my email and I'll see if I can get Yahoo to fix that."

OK, so that might release the very weird Debra Dunn from responsibility (honestly, I don't think she is smart enough to concoct that email scam!) , but it's still one more reason to avoid her, IMHO.

It looks like her email has been hacked. Could be they hacked her password or there is some sort of vulnerability in yahoo mail. I know one lady who claims her yahoo email got hacked after she clicked on a link in a similar scam type of email that she had received. I got a very similar email to the one below from a co-worker about 5 months ago except she was in London instead of Wales when "mugged".

They both work in the same location near Forest Park but have separate rooms and all. The person who handles the emails sends them texts when clients arrive and whom to expect. They have told me they are trying to move away from this system and just work independently. You can get their personal contact information if you meet them and get a good vibe.
