If you look at my history I am (was, not sure what the right term is) one of you. Trading info and participating in the hobby for many years, back to the EV / scorps etc days. I know now that I was a full on addict to the hobby. It was my drug of choice. Even now it took me a long time to trust myself enough to come back to the site to even think about posting something like this. Please know that I hold zero judgement on anyone in the "hobby". I am simply posting here as when I was in it strangely enough I felt so very much alone with nobody to talk to. Even before getting caught I knew I was taking chances I should not have taken, not just with getting caught but with dangerous situations etc.

Nothing wrong with leaving the hobby. We don't judge you. And yes, I and most mongers are sex addicts. No reason to deny it.
As for getting outed, now you see why I post so much about safety and anonymity. I constantly suggest a hobby phone. I never use my real name anywhere. I hide references to where I work (logos, keycards) when on date.

I'm a young single man and I do tend to be sort of judgmental towards married men in the hobby because it always seemed kind of selfish to me, but I've never been married and who is to say that if I ever found "the one" that it'd be as simple as just leaving the hobby one day. I feel like there's good and bad in the hobby. I've experienced both ends. I've had chicks built like your favorite pornstar that'd serve it up any way you like for less than a hundo. You can imagine what that does to a savings plan. My advice is just focus on your fam man and forget this site ever existed, because as long as you rely on your own strength and keep telling yourself you can handle browsing on here you're going to get drawn back in. That's like a crack addict saying theyre going to just sit and watch their friends smoke. At the end of the day this game is too dangerous to have a family in in my opinion. I checked in a few other forums and I think that GERD (google it) is the issue causing the issue. My heartburn lasts at least a week. I would take pepcid AC, but it only lasted a few hrs then really bad heartburn again. I would get occasional headache, too. I do sometimes drink not too long after taking, which probably isn't the best thing. Bottom line sounds like much smaller dosage and no drinking, but I'm in no hurry to go through that again.
