If you haven't tried OTB days yet, particularly if you can do room-level pricing, I recommend it. Yes, you're looking at $300 for the room plus some tips, but once you get the lay of the land, there's fun to be had, and you're getting to see the merchandise before you buy, so there's something to be said for paying the premium price rather than trying to play the silly games with escorts. There's generally something for most tastes there on any given day, including a few days when cute identical blonde twins are a possibility.

After that, the fall-off is steep. I still think Silk has spread its product too thin and I know too many people who might be out at regular bars when I club to want to risk being seen going into one of their downtown clubs. Heart Breakers has a couple worthwhile dancers and has seemingly gotten better, but it's been a while since I've partaken. I can't speak to Texas Jay's, and I'm probably not in the market for what Ricky's sells.

1. I'm definitely not recommending this as a "do this every time" type thing. You'd go broke and it would be a waste if you did.

On my budget, yes, I mostly do dances in my two-or-three times a month hobby.

What I'm talking about is a maybe once or twice a year type thing for me, if that, and only at clubs where I have it on good authority rooms might be more fun than advertised. I heed hints, too, like the girl being specific, giving the stripper handshake, or whatever (though sometimes some even use those to fake you out). No hints, or standard hints ("I can't say, but trust me, it's more fun" I will probably only do dances. A room is probably only something I'll consider after I've done dances with a girl at least a couple times. The choice to pursue this path is rarely an uninformed one.

2. Here's where I reiterate I go higher end: I have a preference for busty, smart, relatively tattoo-free ladies whose lingerie fits and makeup and hair are done. Ones that can flirt and banter, look and sound like they might actually be truthful when they say they're paying for college, and might hold a real job in addition to stripping. Generally a person would for these high priced VIP rooms because they don't realize there are better options out there for them. At one point I was somewhat guilty of these. First there are clubs out there with much cheaper VIP options.
