She had her tubes tied years ago so that means no sex for me from her. It was her idea to get it elsewhere instead of "pressuring" her for it.

Would certainly be nice if LE would just BACK OFF! OK, that's my ranting and raving for the year!

I picked up a girl named Michelle a couple of weeks ago just east of the La Mesa city limits. She gave a CBJ for .4, nothing special.

But she DID enlighten me on why she was where she was and why she didn't want to go in certain directions, only others. Seems that San Diego PD and the DA are doing something similar to Washington State's SOAP (Stay Out of Areas of Prostitution) program. They have been doing it for several years, originally they did it to clean up the area around Midway and Rosecrans (which used to have 5 - 15 girls within a 2 block area.

Michelle tells me that what happens is this: At the trial (or sometimes at the first hearing) an offer might be made. The girl will not do time or get an "official" police record if it is her first offense, but if she it caught inside a certain area (and it's specified in the paperwork) not just going to the store or whatever it's an automatic arrest, the other charge is brought back and she is looking at a second offense and some jail time as well.

Checking with an attorney friend of mine (who specializes in prostitution/john cases) he says the would like to say the girls can't come into the city limits at all but that is to vague an unconstitutional. On the other hand, it can be specified "Within 1 block either direction of El Cajon Blvd within the city limits of San Diego" or, as one girl was told "Within 5000 feet of any area know to Law Enforcement to be an area where prostitution occurs" or some such blather.

Attorney friend says it isn't being used on Johns YET but is being considered. He seems to think it might be used on a guy with no priors, wearing a wedding ring and maybe driving a newer car that he doesn't want to lose, or one who starts singing to Uncle Leo about the girl in the car as soon as he is pulled over.

Wow my first post. A big thanks to all of you mongers on the site. I have still not picked up a SW out of LE fear but I am getting close. I work in Coronado and drive up north everyday to go home. I take the 163 to the Robinson exit and then go up Park to ECB. I cruise to the 15 then go north. The time frame is always between 1:30 and 3:00. I was wondering if I would really be able to pick out the SW just from reading this site and absofuckinlutley I could. They are so obvious to me now. I dont know why I didn't start doing this sooner. Anyway I was just saying thanks to you posters and I will write again after I make contact. I also drive past sundance every day so i will be there soon and providing price and experience info back to you.

Just got back from a trip to Philly and I gotta let you know the AMPs around here are rippin' us off big time! I visited 3 different AMPs in Philly and all three were younger, prettier and le$$ than around SD county.

Best by far was the little place know here on the board as CH2 (Philly AMP list). It was a bit hard to find, none of the AMPs have any kind of sign outside, just street numbers. It turned out to be just off the 'comfortable' part of town, so walking there at 4am might be an issue (yea, u read that right, they're open till 4am). Got there around 1pm, was shown 3 gals (8-9 material), picked Mimi (definite 9, Blonde, fake Ds and a 25" ass - heaven!) and went upstairs for a TS that involved heavy petting and lots of kisses. After this, Mimi lead me to a side room and we discussed some of the activity on this board. She was a bit upset that a few posters had said they had gotten BB services, when she wont do anything without a cover. She quickly had it covered and and I was all smiles for an hour. Total experience: 1.5hrs, .5$ house, $ CFS (neither was asked for till afterwards - gave $1.6 and even was given back change!)

Closest you'll get to that in SD is Escondido... unless anybody has found similar around SD?? If so fill me in.

SOAP's

The soap's are civil restraining order. In order to get one the cops must get the businesses to sign the restraining order. In the past the business owners were reluctant to sign the restraining orders. I have noticed recently that there has been less pimps around.

What is the average that you pay for FS at Sundance, and does anyone have any tips on how to handle going there as a first-timer?

Had to go to National city for work so I decided to take a cruise down Main st. I saw one ugly lsw near Main & Divison.

After I got off work I decided to cruise ECB for a bit. The action was pretty dead saw only one sw working. There was a heavy police presence and they were pulling over a lot of cars. The cops had pulled over at least 5 people. Not certain what was happening it could be a prelude to their holiday max enforcement.

They don't need any business to sign a restraining order. Any place where prostitution is known to occur can be designated a SOAP area. If a SW gets busted for prostitution in that area -- she gets SOAP'ed -- effectively banning her from that area for a specific period of time -- usually one year. The only person who needs to sign off on it is the judge. If she so much as sets one foot in the area she can be immediately arrested regardless of her activity.

The only time a business needs to sign a restraining order is when for example someone gets caught shoplifting in their store. If the person enters the store's property they get immediately busted for criminal trespass, which is a completely different offense than a SOAP violation.

Do you have a link to the ordinance........??? Tried doing a search on "ca.gov" and nothing came up. But it's disappointing that the cops can use this. This could explain why there are so few girls on ECB recently.

Actually I don't have a link, I was pretty much just re-stating Seattle's SOAP law. Every year all the police chiefs (or their representatives) get together and discuss such things as controlling prostitution. If one area (such as Seattle) is effective reducing prostitution with something such as SOAP, the other police agencies copy it almost verbatim and enact it in their jurisdictions. A few minor things might be changed, but all in all it's usually the same law.

For example, Orlando might get an intent to solicite law. It seems to work. Three years later, 50 other cities have an intent to solicite law. They're all copycats. The car impound law. Ditto. Sometimes they may sit back and see if the law gets successfully challenged constitutionally before enacting it.

I'm going to be in SD in the next couple of weeks staying at a hotel on Ave of Industry in Rancho Bernado (wherever the hell that is) north of downtown. Any street action to be had out there, or clubs I could go to mid week where hookups might be easy?

I'm up for either P4P, or picking up a straight girl (yikes).

Rancho Bernardo is an upscale area north of town with absolutely no p4p action. San Diego AMPs are surprisingly bad especially considering L.A. has good action and San Fran has great action. I don't follow the SW scene so I can't help you there either. If you've never been to Tijuana now is the time. It's a 40 minute drive south of Rancho Bernardo. Action is cheap and plentiful there. Adelita's Bar in TJ should be your first stop if cross the border.
