Your point about international mongering is a very good one and I had considered mentioning that in my post, but decided, despite it's advantages, that option is beyond the scope of this forum or my post. However, since you brought it up, I do have a few thoughts on that option as well (I've actually mongered in 15 of the 45 countries I've visited so far, including DR, CR & Col, but not St. Maarten).

Much cheaper decent (and sometimes superior) quality pussy is still easily available outside the US (at least in most LDC's). Some degree of Spanish speaking ability in the Latin American countries will certainly make it even easier (and even more enjoyable) but isn't always essential (depending on the country).
