Got scammed today by someone a couple of you had vowed for on here. Got her number and she gave a sad story about being held at gunpoint, robbed and raped. She said she would see me for 100 and no time limits. Should have known then it was TGTBT.
She told me she needed to send her kid to a babysitter before we could meet. I was like, "ok cool. " Shortly thereafter after she asked me to send funds via CashApp or PayPal. Said sorry, not happening. She asked if I could then pay the babysitter directly. I said that was fine since she said I could come over after the babysitter had the kid. She gave me the address to her place as well as the place she wanted me to meet the babysitter. They are less than a quarter mile from each other.
She initially provided me with her babysitters name and a picture (I asked for one). I recognized the babysitter as a girl from a few years back. She asked me not to tell her what was going on. I almost said something about recognizing her, but didn't. I asked her if she knew what she did, and she said no.
I drive to the location to meet the babysitter. I scope out the place and the surrounding area (as usual). I park nearby looking for the car of the babysitter. As I'm waiting, I get a call from the 304. She says her babysitters boyfriend was coming to the meeting place to get the "babysitting" money. Again, another red flag. Dude plays it off telling me they can keep the kid until 5. I said ok and left. I then drive to her place and she calls me asking to do her a "huge favor. " She asks for more money to pay something else. I told her I didn't have my wallet and I don't have apps to send money. She says it ok and tells me she's getting in the shower.
I realized at this point I was officially being scammed. I ask her if she's ready, she said she was starving and would meet me at the nearby 7-11. I park across the street waiting to see her walking. 10-15 minutes go by and no one comes from the direction of her place matching what she described she was wearing or looks like her pictures. I ask her again if she's ready and she tells me soon. At this point I drive away. I sent her a message telling her I have better things to do than getting screwed over.
I just want everyone to avoid her as she may now being playing games. It's the first time this has ever happened to me. I don't want it to happen anyone else. So please fellow mongers, let's make this one suffer.

I hear ya. I think because I haven't partaken in the hobby for over 6 months, I wasn't thinking with the big head. It's a lesson learned.
