Why do you think that because you two went to school together that you can't try it? Unless you have a S / O that she knows about, & even then you could say you & the S / O are no longer together.

Pretty Asian girl, pretty cool thru texting and I think she is attractive. Definitely a few extra pounds but her face off sets this IMO. Everything was great up until allowance talk, thought she was worth about $200-250 but offered her $300 because I wanted to get the deal done.

Really. . . The best thing to do is to make a second unpaid account to check on stuff like this. Use a throw-away gmail account. You can figure out instantly whether you've been blocked or they are off the site. (No, I can't see the profile either. But I block a lot of profiles, all that I determine are no-go's).

Well she sure isn't anonymous to you or others & I don't really hate to say this, people on SA are not UTR as much as anyone wants to believe they are, they're just not once you put yourself out there you're out.
