Much prefer the Canton Inn than a nice hotel in Independence or really any hotel on Arlington.

Get yourself a lock for one of the bolts on your tires. I have one for my old pickup. Walk like you belong and act like you belong and they will not bother you. I've gotten laid at the Canton inn no problems. Stings are the primary #1 concern. Even if you get carjacked or get into a brawl with a goon that is better then dealing with the cops and the courts. A carjacking doesn't go on your record or cause you to become unemployed.
