I'm traveling around July 5th on Southwest so I have a little bit of time to make a decision, but "As Time Goes By", Time is money.
I am just.
One Man.
As was said by others, Penthouse is open, follow some dancers on IG and one posted yesterday to go see her.
As was said by others, Penthouse is open, follow some dancers on IG and one posted yesterday to go see her.
Thanks for the heads up! One of the Penthouse dancers named Ruby (very cute Asian) texted me days before the stay-at-home order was issued (early-March? She asked when I was coming back for a visit, said I always made her nights better whenever I showed, missed the private dances, etc. I made up some excuse and haven't been back in some time. The reality is I'm too busy with work (even at home), plus I'm just kinda done with DMV strip clubs. To be fair, my expectations are probably sky high after spending time in Georgia, California, and Asia's clubs over the years, haha! Still, never say never, right? Right now though, I just don't see myself frequenting Baltimore, DC, or NoVA's club scene anytime soon.

Do you think that will really be a problem with them opening?

They have spread out some of the bar chairs, and started a head count in the early part of the day, but when it got late, it started getting packed. As long as you have a mask with you, you're fine and girls can talk to you and sit next to you without issue. Don't have to have the mask on as long as your drinking.

Thanks for that insight. I can deal with with head counts, and I'll have a mask for when I'm in the airport and on the plane. I'll just be sure and carry it when I go to the block and I'll probably be drinking more than enough to not have to use the mask a lot. LOL.
Are girls doing lap dances or it's forbidden? What about touching?
Well I'm in Baltimore and went to the block last night. It seems the new rules are: wear a mask on the way in, and a mask on the way out. A few of the clubs support social distancing by covering up every other bar stool, but what that means is that you can't sit there but the girls can. The clubs were fairly full for a Thursday night. The dancers were the same mix of young, good looking, know it, so they can be treat you like you're just a piece of meat unless you spend a lot of money on them (which is just another way of treating you like a piece of meat), Also there were a few older but nice and not bad looking (but alcohol plays a role here) but I wouldn't put their pics in the Baltimore equivalent of Penthouse (? Chickenhouse?), and also there are too many girls who are way too fat or way too old, way too addicted to heroin or coke or alcohol or all of the above and who should never have even put their foot on a stage. (If you got rid of those, I think not only would the quality of the dancers improve, but so would the quality of the customers possibly, and better dancers and customers might actually be attracted to that club and to the block itself. Then if you could get the police commissioner to assign a few more of his employees to the block you might get red of the thugs that hang around outside. AND THEN... You might make the block feel safer and attract more customers. A guy can dream, can't he?
Got this from his IG.

Block really hasn't been same since 2015, when improving economy cleared out most attractive, non-drug addled women; add Freddie Grey riots and thug factor and for most customers, it's just not worth it. Every so often, Harem, PC (both on nights) or Indulge (day) can surprise you, but it's rare.
There's also Penthouse Club downtown, or Fantasies in Curtis Bay. Their club setup is pretty nice and I did enjoy their music selection as it was all over the place and not just exclusively are&B.
However, do NOT expect any "fun" times to be had in the VIP area, much less any OTC action. It's not that kind of club, and your dollar value is pretty abysmal there. If one enjoys air dances, paying for overpriced drinks, and have zero qualms about throwing money away with few expectations of return, then Penthouse might be right up their alley. For everyone else, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. In fact, I encourage visiting a club that is NOT in Maryland, or even the DMV period. This region just doesn't hold a candle to Atlanta, San Diego, Houston, or Tijuana (and yes, I'm intentionally leaving Vegas off this "best-of" list due to being the GPS capital of this continent).

Now that I've been down her for a few days, the New Block is nowhere near the same as the old block. Still every now and then you do find a good girl who is sole and #1 purpose is to reach into your pants and have you give her all your money. I do remember the block for the 90's. It wasn't like it was in the 60's or 70's based on what some of the older bartenders tell me when all the girls showed up for work looking like a million dollars, but it was still nice. There was a good selection of white girls and a few black girls, and with a bit of searching you might get lucky and get some take out. In the 2000's, One side of the street was mostly black dancers and the other side was mostly white dancers, with a few of each mixed into both sides of the street. In the last few years, almost all of the clubs are all black dancers with only 1 or 2 white dancers in a few of the club. 3 clubs are white dancers with a few black girls mixed in. Butttt. The odds of finding TO is much better. On the other hand, the TO is likely to be very drug dependent. The bigger problem that most of the bartenders and a lot of the customers complain about is the pimps, drug dealers, and just plain thugs that hang out on the street. The block is not nearly as friendly as it used to be It used to be that the police (and the mob, I guess) would keep this all under control. Now they seem just to be there to protect the paramedics who show up for a shooting or knifing.
The block is the only place in this country left where you can find this sort of entertainment, but I fear a bastion of this country is breathing its dying breaths. :

The block is the only place in this country left where you can find this sort of entertainment, but I fear a bastion of this country is breathing its dying breaths. :
The funny thing is that, according to police data (at least until 2018), the block itself isn't that dangerous for customers. A few blocks away, yes, but as frequent block visitor, never saw customer on the street put at any real risk. But I 100 percent agree that threatening "look" started keeping both customers and non drug-dependent girls away (always thought clubs should hire some off duty cops to patrol, like they did for some parking garages; instead, they went cheap with rent a cops, who didn't deter anything).
I think the economy also has played a role. Most of the 2000's we had weak economy, which made the disparity between working on the block and straight job high enough you'd get quality dancers. But by 2014-2015; attractive (and lets be honest, white) girls could do at least ok elsewhere. As number of attractive women fell, so did The number of customers, and you started a sinking trend that even before COVID, resulted in few lookers, and most of those had major drug problems.
This in turn meant to survive, girls had to be willing to go all out, further reducing girls willing to work at all. The funny thing is that the block model could still work, in special situations- in 2019, the Harem had from 4-6 great looking girls (real world, not block looks) who, while mainly hanging out with old guy regulars, and usually only offering lap dances, still created a fun and the crowds brought out cute but more adventurous girls. Sadly, by the end of last year, they were basically all gone, and the pattern of reduced numbers of high extra, druggie girls leading to fewer customers was back.
I don't think the block can survive, either. In general, until there's a vaccine, the industry as a whole is unlikely to fully recover, and by that time it's hard to imagine someone not buying up the real estate. If you look at what happened with Washington DC's Block (14th street), it went away in 3 months after plans for offices and a Postal facility were developed; I think the only thing that saved the block was no one had any good ideas to develop the area. Hopefully, I'll get to go one more time and raise a glass to what was (heck, even Hustler was filled with fun, great looking women.).
Fellas,. Just want to know before I take the 45 min trip,. I've been, waiting to release. Anywhere to get a decent HJ from a decent broad? I know harem.
Has to have a few. What about chey joey?
I would argue that the advent of easy internet access and escort advertising sites made easy money easier, and sure pussy easier.
Consequently, many bar patrons skipped the bars for a sure thing, and usually for less money (trying to convince a stripper for take out). This means fees walking wallets for the strippers, so they resort to the escort malls.
Anyone know if the Players Club in Baltimore or Showcase Theater in Beltsville are open yet? Those have been two of the more consistent clubs for good lapdances in this area. I try calling the numbers, but no answer. THis indicates closed, but it could also indicate staff is too lazy to answer the phone.

I guess there's really no "one" answer, but clearly adult businesses involving real contact (not things like Onlyfans and camming) had fundamentally changed even before COVID.

Was in Pasadena the other evening and saw several girls going in. This one may be open for business. Haven't had the opportunity to confirm.
Waahoo.
Drove by and Ritz was open. Any word on take out from there?

Was coming home from Glen Burnie and decided to take the "scenic route" and scope things out. Cut through the city and headed up 40. The Gold Club marquee says "now open", but didn't look real busy. I see Haven Place is still closed. They may not reopen, as to rumors they wanted to close up shop anyway. Didn't check on El Dorado. Saw that Desire, (aka Sherrie's) had the doors open as well. Had somewhere to be, so I couldn't partake today, but glad to see options are now there.
Waahoo.
The BCFD are reporting on a fire that broke out at Club Pussycat. I must say with all the happenings going looks like this is the end of the block.
Since most of you know the Strip Club Scene hope you might be able to pass on a tip or two. I would like to do something very close hold at my home for an event but only a few guys but we would like one or two strippers for a few hours, strippers that do shows and lapdances not escorts. Possibly with the option of more if it is available but not necessary. Haven't tried this at home, but bmore seems to be tricky with where to find independent strippers or ones that do it on the side. Any place to turn too would be helpful.
