It's long past time to abandon these monetary abbreviations. They don't save any keystrokes. They're harder to type than just typing the actual amount. As some kind of "code" they don't fool anyone, except maybe noobs. And they confuse the hell out of even experienced senile, er, I mean senior members! They simply serve no useful purpose. I don't think they ever did.
