Unless you have a regular that asks for a portion of it on a GC. They might have a legit need for a gift, and do not want to pay the $5-$6 activation fee. I had a find of of CL that asked for a Stop / Shop gift card. Did not want cash, as she thought I might be LEO, with marked bills. Told Her I would, but only after the deed. Didn't have the heart to tell Her the card was probably just as traceable! Worked out well, and next few times She took the cash!

I got 9 weeks of GFE texting back and forth and she has still kept in contact. I connected with her on strong personal level.
