First off, I gave up on the clubs quite a while ago (years). Reading the reports here finally persuaded me to give venom a shot, so I stopped by there last Friday afternoon. Got a table on the main floor near the cabana area. Getting a drink took quite a while but I was pleased with the price. The songs are cut ridiculously short, but I did get a few dances from various girls, including a couple from the very obviously prego CJ. Her approach was predictable and well documented here. I passed on her offers and left shortly there after when the pitcher was empty.

My take on the place was "Thar she blows, Man the harpoon gun!" Aside from a small minority of the girls, you would be crushed under the bulk of the remainder of the dancers and there isn't enough "eye bleach" in this town to remove the images seared into my retinas from that trip. Apologies to Cash, she was hot. What happened to good looking, well built dancers? I feel very comfortable skipping the clubs for several more years.

Dances on the floor are $10 per song. They have a VIP type area, but honestly, it's been years since I've seen anyone go in or out of that area. Sometime since February, the cabana cover price went up to $25. I believe the price per song in the cabana is $20, but it might depend on the girl you're with. The extended menu there will definitely depend on who you're in there with. I think some will charge more so they can get away with making fewer trips to the cabanas during their shift as opposed to the lower priced ones who try to take every guy to the cabana that they dance for. Contrary to how it must sound from most reviews, there are still a few dancers here and there that only have limited mileage available. It's best to be sure you know what you're getting before you get there, just try not to be crude or overly assuming with your inquiries.

Something to keep in mind when visiting a SC that you've never been to, or one that you haven't been to in a long, long time, these dancers don't know you. They know nothing about you. Chances are, they will only approach with caution. Talk to them as if they are your sister's hot friend that you are meeting for the first time and your sister is nowhere around. You got to be nice, polite, a bit flirtatious, and above all avoid being overly crude and direct with your intentions. If a woman you think is hot approached you at the mall telling you that you can have certain sexual favors from her for a price, would you trust her enough to think it's legit? You don't know her, so why would you? My point is that you don't have to be direct and to the point to gain ground with a dancer you just met. How you treat them and talk to them is everything.

I would recommend accepting a dance or two from the first girl that asks. If she's not what you're looking for, that's fine. When the dance / dances are complete, smile and thank her, then pay and tip her. When you're new to a certain environment, you have to kind of feel your way through and allow those already there get a sense of how YOU are. If you're friendly and cool with them, they will be more open to you. Which will eventually lead to what you hope to find.

Just came back from Venom and while the selection of dancers was great, the baldish-long red beard DJ was clipping off songs at 2 to 2-1/2 minutes and talking or mumbling halfway thru songs which was distracting. I stopped going to the Boat several years ago for thier short songs. Hopefully the management fires or educates this clown, really counting to between 3 and 4 minutes is not that hard to do.

I haven't been to Ten's or TD's East in a while, anyone time songs with thier phone to get an idea?

Not too long ago the DJ's would let a song go to 4 or 4-1/2 minutes routinely, the short music just pisses off customers and that means less business, time to wake up.
