The slightly improved weather and thawing streets finally injected some life back into the Downtown scene, but everyone else has also been trying to get out and get a piece of the action so Downtown has not been the best option, at least not on the weekend. My advice to anyone who opts to check out the Downtown scene this "season" would be to:
1) Don't monger this area before 2:30am on Friday and Saturday nights. This is very late, I know, but Baltimore Street, Guilford, and Holiday Streets are usually blocked off on these nights until 2:00, which creates bottlenecking on Fayette from Guilford to St. Paul, this portion of Fayette being the major part of the stroll. You'll stick out like a sore thumb trying to get a girl into your car, and you'll probably be blocking traffic in the process. Most of the mongers out here are horny young dudes coming from the clubs, or coming Downtown to see what young ladies they can nab to run a train on. They're typically not courteous at a time where everyone is pretty much frustrated from the traffic.
Downtown winds down on these nights at around 3:00-3:30ish, and there are usually some stragglers trying to pick up last dates from this point until around 5:00, which is the best time to be out. No traffic, and it at least seems easier to bargain with the girls after most of the monger competition has left.
2) Monger on Thursday nights. I've found that Thursday nights on the stroll can be just as hot as weekends (sometimes at least) without the bad traffic. I've found the best dates and better negotiations on these nights. Sometimes even a Monday, Tues, or Wednesday can turn up some decent talent if you're out late enough.
3) Be discrete. LE is not as hard on mongers in this area; maybe its because Downtown is not a residential neighborhood. I have personally picked up a SW unknowingly in plain view of LE. Not the smartest idea, but LE didn't stop. I've witnessed this happen to others as well. This does not, however, mean that LE will not pull someone over for soliciting. It is still good to be discrete and have a strategy that won't make you look obvious.
4) Downtown Baltimore, in its prime, has the best talent of any stroll in the city hands down (I always say this and mean it). These girls are not on drugs, not chasing a high, and are fairly young (most are under 25). That said, not one of these girls are worth what they will try to sell themselves for. Bargain the crap out of them. You're not gonna get anything for .20 or .40, but CL and BP prices to fuck in an alley or an empty parking garage? No thanks. I've been quoted some ridiculous prices to which I laugh and either counter, or wish them good luck and be on to the next one. Certainly, some of these girls look good enough to do well on BP or CL, but I consider a portion of the price I pay to escorts a "convenience fee" because they either have their own place or are willing to come to you. If they don't have a place inside, and you don't have a place close by other than getting a room, they'd better be coming off the price a little.
There's more to add but any seasoned monger pretty much knows how to handle things. The only reason I posted this is because hardly any coverage is given to the Downtown stroll, and the stroll is unique in that it is a small area and its easy to be obvious, and because the rate you pay elsewhere typically does not apply here for the aforementioned reasons. Mongering season is about to heat up.... I might have to get a camera for the occasion!

You state in your report that her skill were impressive. Was it worth the $.3 or not. If the going rate is $.2 + tip, and you tip for quality, maybe you end up giving her a $.1 = $.3. Now is there a complaint. Ashley has tons of testimonials on this board, and I wouldn't put her out for a flat $.3 quote.

Don't you just hate restaurants which calculate and add the tip to your check. I prefer to offer a tip as an act of gratitude, not to pay one as an act of greed.
If the $.1 becomes part of the fee, then there will be no incentive.

There are two Renee's one from B/CB and the other from the WW loop. Now the Renee from B/CB at the time that her and I hooked up was telling me that she had a court date the next day and that she was looking at 100 days for a vop. Now one of two things happened 1) she did'nt show up and now has a warrant. Or 2) she did show up and the outcome was different I have'nt made contact with her and if she is still out there then that's what happened. Now the other Renee is out on the WW loop she is available as she was just reported on a few days ago. I hope this clears things up.
