On the other hand, most hotels have interior cameras, so activity can be monitored as well if there is a desire or suspicion by mgmt or LE.

There is no one best, just be smart about your surroundings, have a story ready if pulled over, and never be ashamed of just driving away and leaving her hanging if your Spidey senses tells you that something isn't right.
