So, I come back from Vegas a couple of Fridays ago and where do I go? If you guessed straight from the airport to COI, you'd be right. I go to DejaVu first. Drove by today on my way to DVCOI. Saw sign up at Monarchs "now hiring entertainers". I think this is new. Anybody know how long this has been up? Ended up at DVCOI today HJ in the topless for. 4 Unremarkable but this place has stepped up it's game since HT. Been hittin Paradise and DV and occasional SR. Hoping to see a new mgmt style from SR at Monarch if they ever open. Big mistake would be to run like SR. They still have the ripoff approach to their customers. Short songs etc. Hoping they come up with a new business strategy.

I heard they opened recently. Had anyone checked it out yet? I will probably go on Sunday and report.

I won't touch the place and have enjoyed their struggles trying to get Monarch's opened for like 2 years now? It was typical SR arrogance to even attempt it given the local laws and they've probably been kicking in rent and other overhead each month that they couldn't take in a dime of revenue. You can imagine how hungry they must be to bail themselves out by bleeding the wallets of desperate horndogs who would kick in the mortgage payment for promised intimacies with an ugly bimbo who looks OK in the dark.

I noticed a classified ad they published in LA Weekly looking for staffing and saying they'd open either late April or early May. It may be that they'll open as a topless club and try to profit from alcohol sales. They've done a good job of this in Torrance where they operate a pretty decent topless bar. For me, another SR Torrance would be preferable to another SRI in COI. But I don't know. Haven't seen any details of whether the club will be juice nude or topless with full bar.

I do believe they will finally open. However, this will not be the first time they announced an imminent opening and held an advertised "job fair". They may have even thrown a grand opening party the last time around but nothing but darkness since that night over a year ago. But here's hoping that COI sucks 'them dry the way they work our wallets at SRI (or try to) before they can sell the first 39 second $40 lap dance on the premises of the late great Hawaii Theatre.

Great ass, cute face, but low mileage.

She's been there for at least 5 years and has never been a dancer who puts out. She's more the low mileage, friendly type, who is there to give lap dances in between getting stoned in the hallway near the Smoke Room.

My advice to any guy planning to monger at DVCOI would be to check the numerous resources available that provide dancer reviews. Way too much intel out there unless you are one of the guys that like to "fly blind" and just see what happens.

DVCOI is kinda so-so lately. Nothing new and really exciting that would make you want to reach for the old ATM card on primal impluse.

Was at DVCOI last night. Didn't get much action. Here's a quick summary:

Carolina. I took a dance with her because for some reason I thinking Cameron when she said her name. Her dance is pretty much what you read in her reviews. Charged $20 to touch the kitty. Paid and pretended it was a nude dance which sorta works out monetarily. Lighting is better in the topless so was a better deal for me. Offered standard pricing on extras, but didn't go for anything else. Overall dance wasnt bad, but don't like the fee system with her so I don't plan to dance in the future.

Vica, Miranda, Courtney. All pretty much the same mileage. Allowed access on top. No stick shifting, some would brush the package with their leg or grind. Okay dance none that I want to repeat.

Brooklyn Carter. Wasnt planning to lap with her since I've lapped with her before, but the girl I wanted was busy all night. Ended going for her since I usually get a good dance and I did. Plenty of stick shifting and enjoyed the dance. She offered her usual menu, but my budget was done for the night. Wished I didn't lap with any of the other girls, but wanted to try some new girls (new as in I haven't lapped with them before).

Monarchs grand opening today. Free 7pm to 2 am.

Well had to go for some reason. Since it was new I had to check it out. Bottom line expensive and no mileage at all for now. Admission was free I assume this was an opening day special. Just asked me to buy a drink. Place is completely renovated and reaks of SR style interior in a small space. One of the notable layout issues is the addition of a short wall that runs along the one side of the interior. Behind the wall is just bench seating with about 6 feet of space. This puts the next row of seating right up against the back of the stage seating. So if you sit there people a squeezing by the whole time as this is the main walkway too. Not the best design especially since the seating behind has more space then it needs. Looks like that area could be a dancer space but presently its not. There is an additional mini stage right by the entrance and they were rotating dancers from there to the main stage. The mini stage has seating on both sides of it and it is very narrow. Dancers on this stage are really watching that they don't fall off. There is a pole there also. The main stage is about the same as before. Private dances consisted of topless, nude & VIP. $20 & 40 and 3X40 for VIP. Dances are in the area of the old HT bench space but now its 2 raised levels. The first row up is topless and the second all the way back is nude. Odd thing here is the topless area has a window in the back so if your in the nude section your watching the topless action in front of you. If this was intended as a feature I don't get it. Lighting was pretty bright in the topless area so it was impossible to not feel like you were supposed to look. Also partook of the VIP with what I hoped would be the right dancer. That area is a wide open area behind a wall that presently has no privacy. Didn't matter nothing is going on in this place yet. My dancer said in a week they are supposed to put up curtains in the VIP for privacy. They are probably waiting to see if there is any local code or heat issues. Meanwhile there is nothing worth spending a dime for in the VIP. Mileage overall was really low for COI. This is probably going to change with time but nothing worth spending any monger dollars on for now.

I got 3 sets of dances from 3 girls. First was a special at least they said it was. It was buy 2 get 2. It amounted to 4 songs and you paid for 2 since I was opting for nude it was. 8 Sorry forgot the dancers name but it wasn't anything worth writing about. She gave a good grind and played with the meat over pants. But nothing that going to get a guy off. Privacy in the nude area isn't good so don't think any mileage is ever likely here except maybe over time in the very end stalls in the back. 2nd dance was with a gal by the SN Heather, She looked like a stripper version of Ariel from Disneyland. Really flat and pale skin bright red hair might of been a wig but I don't think so. This dance was lame and not worth even writing about. She even said at the end that she would like a tip also. I said no. 3rd dance was a 120VIP with Jasmine. She is a very attractive Asian. Nice body and pleasant. This is where I find out that there is no privacy at all in the VIP for now. What exactly makes it VIP nothing. Waste of money no tipping or mileage. Again there are supposed to be curtains coming in a week I was told.

Overall waste of money at least for now. Song length isn't good but not as bad as SR is sometimes. Buy the lady a drink hassle is in full force I simply declined and they went away each time.

To summarize this place is going to offer no value while the opening hipe is in force. Time might make this place better, but I recommend waiting. Good advise I should have taken.
