Going to sit on the sidelines
For awhile. Just too many things goin on. Between health issues and lack of money it's just not been as fun lately either. With the exception of Jamie who was wonderful! And was hoping to see curly Sue, but things are not going well. No telling the way my health is headed. Nothing covid related. Just something that's been ongoing for a year or so. Been trying to figure out a way to make things work, but I'm out of answers. Hopefully something will change and I can return to action. Stay safe everyone. Irish.

Burner Phone vs App considerations
I need to invest in a burner phone. Can anyone recommend something or should I just search CL or something. Thanks.
Burner phone vs App is a decision that needs to be made based on what fits your situation the best. Consider if your spouse gets into your phone. A texting app on your personal phone may be suspicious. Do you use a family App Store / Play account where a tech savvy spouse may see that someone has downloaded the app? Likewise are YOU savvy enough to bury it deep within a folder to keep it out of sight and remember to disable notifications? Similarly if you got a burner phone where would you charge and hide it? If you aren't married those probably aren't a concern for you.
A good reason to have a burner phone: you can afford to bring it with you where you shouldn't be bringing your expensive smart phone. Say hello to souvenir pics!
If you consider an app, download it and try it for free. Learn all the settings within the app and your phone to enable / disable notifications. Send texts and calls (from a different phone) in all the different configurations, sleep modes, etc to see when it rings or notifies you so there aren't any surprises when you aren't expecting any. Then remember to shut it off when not in use.
For the overly paranoid TextFree has a webpage version for texting only. It requires you to login via a browser and manually check for texts. Cumbersome but leaves no trace.
Having both is ideal to have multiple numbers for long term and short term uses. Great info on burner phone:

Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget
Thanks. I tried that for a bit but there are so many fakes and girls who expect a Rolls Royce gift in advance or to be paid $400-$600 per meeting. How do you wade through to find real and realistic females?
You get what you pay for. If you want to pay STG prices, you're going to get crazy skanks. You might try https://tryst.link/. There is some overlap with STG, but mostly the girls seem to be of a bit higher calibre, and the price reflects that.
