A few things to note: Apparently it is 92% accurate (so I'll still follow up with actual labs). I only saw the provider in question once and it would have been a little over a year ago. Of course it was BB. Might be information that puts some at ease. Might not be as helpful for others.

Definitely time for retirement. Feeling pretty fortunate not just from that near miss, but that most of my adventures since have been in other markets without the likelihood of cross contamination being as high.

BTW, not sure how the rest of you guys get it done, but Request A Test is a pretty good way. A full panel can be a little pricey, especially the ones that include PCR diagnostics for things like HIV, but not going to scrimp on that. You place the order online and then go down to your local Walgreens or CVS and get your samples drawn and pee in a cup. And I am sure most of you know this, but HIV can take 6 months for a positive test, so those of us that may have to should be testing now, in 90 days and again in 180 days to make sure the threat is past or, god forbid, you need to go on antivirals.

I know it's probably been a crazy 24 hours for some out there. We all run in similar circles so even if you never saw the provider in question you may still want to get tested just for your own safety and peace of mind. They sell home quick tests at any drug store or online for pretty cheap. Unfortunately things like this are just part of the game. Good luck and stay safe out there gentlemen.

I'm trying to keep up on the emails. I'm sorry if you have to wait a little while to get the info. But lots of people have it so others can share too. I've prob sent about 50 emails already so not trying keep anyone out of the loop. Just takes time. It's more about awareness and not trying to ruin anyone's reputation. But I think it's only fair letting people know if it has already been positive with this girl.
