So, out of ALL the cars in the USA, police were able to narrow their search down to the probably <200 cars "that had traveled near the area of the incident at the time of the event", and then further narrow it down to an orange or red sedan based on victim's descriptions. In this case, good job, they arrested a guy who was actively targeting women. Hopefully he'll be put away for a long time.

What this also means is there are license plate scanners somewhere in that area that are logging every time you drive by. It wouldn't take a computer long to notice what you're up to -- not too hard to single out the cars that drove around the block 5 times in the span of 30 minutes, for example.

Also, not hard to draw conclusions based on the reports of OTHER scanners in the state. Like, for example, to notice your car may spend most of its time in glastonbury but then approx every two weeks it goes to hartford and passes the scanner on Wethersfield Ave 5-6 times in an hour and then comes back once 30 min later (the drop off) and then goes back to only passing the scanners in glastonbury for two weeks again. Big brother knows WAY more than we realize the vast majority of the time.

Did the Loop 4 to 5 times early this afternoon. I saw a younger WSW with a silver jacket, speed, walking around auto zone. By the time I was able to turn around, she was gone. However, on a later loop, I saw her again further down the road, pulled on to a side road, and she walked towards the car, but when she got like 10 feet away, she just stood there. I made eye contact, kind of motioning with my eyes, but she stood there, and I just pulled off.

Just sharing this info here, it's possible I was just being extra paranoid with the latest news. Headlines, if anybody went out today and saw the silver jacket lady let me know and then I will know I was 100% wrong.

If you saw her further down the road later on, another sign she's not a cop.

If you pulled over and she came over, if she was a real cop she would have tried to make a deal with you, I mean that's what she is trying to bust you for if she was a cop.

She might have though you were a cop or something off about you to hesitant like that. A civic would not have come to your car like that.

Just found out this afternoon that Nicole has left Hartford area to enroll in a program in New Haven for pregnant women who are on drugs.

She is due in April.

Apparently she had no idea she was pregnant but stomach was sticking out a little. I saw her about 8 days ago and her breasts were spectacular!!

I'm fairly new to the Hartford scene, I started when right around when Covid started. People were pretty active here, but I've noticed after the (not so much now) recent headlines, not many posts.

So has anyone cruised any different areas like Waterbury or elsewhere?

I was actually thinking it might be worth a shot to try cruising the north end of Hartford, I know there are areas there that are similar to the "loop".

For New haven if you get off the Ferry St Exit and take Ferry Towards East Haven, As you pass McD's you're in the Ho section, From there to the bridge you can usually find 2-3.

So last night I went out to the ave around 11. I took a couple.

Passes and didn't see anyone worth picking up. Heather was by the bodega just past Elliot tweaking out and it looked like half of her hair had fallen out. I spotted Remy, but she was headed to someone else's car. A little further down, I see this other girl who I've seen before but never picked up. So, I said fuck it. That's the port for tonight's storm. She gets in and introduces herself as Bunny (I think) we go to the spot and she asked if I had a lighter. I said yea, but you can't smoke in my truck. I give her the lighter and she starts rifling through her bag. Grabs a needle and other accessories then hops out of the truck. Now I'm sitting there thinking to myself. What have I gotten myself into. So now I decide to just call it a night. After what seemed like an eternity she gets back in and before I can say anything she takes off her wig (which I didn't notice because she had her hood up) and this god awful smell wafts out. I swear it was so bad that I could not only see it in the air, but you could cut it with a knife like in an old episode of Scooby-Doo. So I politely tell her that I've had second thoughts, gave her a 20 and thanked her for her time. I rolled down all the windows and asked her where she wanted me to drop her off. Here's where things got weird. She was missing most of her hair and starts tweaking the fuck out. For the life of me I can't understand how someone can contort themselves without snapping their back. It was like the Ring met Cirque the Soleil. We get to the Sunoco where she asked to be dropped off and she starts balling her eyes out. Saying that I'm a really nice guy and can we please go somewhere so she can do what we had agreed on. How she's in a really bad place and just needs some help. How there are so many bad people out there that pick up the girls and treat them like shit and that they need to see more nice guys out there. While I genuinely felt bad there was no way I wanted her in my truck for one second longer. So I said I'm sorry that things are so hard for you and that nobody deserves that. It seemed to calm her down and she finally got out. So, yea. I made a streetwalker cry last night and don't really know what to think about that. In the past in that kinda situation they'll take the money and scram. I'd avoid this one. She's short maybe 5 ft tall give or take. White, dark brown wig and very thin.

I never let girls do drugs in my presence, if she OD, you are in for a lot of hassle. If they do drugs, I tell them GTFO or I just drive off.

I ran into a SW today whom I met last week for a 1st time date on Park St. Apparently according to her a SW from the Ave was dumped behind Chinese restaurant adjacent to McDonald's on corner of Park and Washington St. Some time Sunday. Her good friend actually thought it was her at first while he tried to revive her waiting for EMS. According to him she was already dead. Cops and ambulance soon arrived and taped off area and compressed chest for good 10 minutes. I don't think she made it but not confirmed.

Apparently the SW was 21 yrs white with pale skin and wore glasses. I would assume she was picked up Saturday night and discarded Sun afternoon. Doesn't make sense to be dropped off at that location during broad daylight. Anone hear about this or know of girl who walks the Ave who fits description-21, fair white skin, glasses?

Location. "profession" time frame. The world today. I'm putting good money on drugs.
