Well, if Mimi has oral herpes (HSV-type I), she is no different than the vast majority of the population. Cold sores aka sun blister are very, very common.
Genital herpes (HSV-type 2) is much less common, but count on most long term providers to have been infected with it.
A condom reduces the risk of transmission, but only to some extent. Avoid Mimi's bbbj if she has visible blisters on her mouth. Thats is all you can do.

You need a broader understanding of mongering.
STD's can be transmitted with the use of a condom. The practice of using a condom is not widely used in some parts of the world. I hope this is not all because of me. I have never tried to sneak the cover off!
