The woman in charge scurried a bit, and they got me someone better. Can't remember any names, unfortunately. If you take the initiative before anything starts it's easier to switch things up.

Just found out that she's no longer working at Kyoto. This is a terribly sad loss. Any idea where she might be?

As an aside, I've not had a bad experience at Kyoto in a long time, but Judy was the best of the latest ladies there. Before that Coffee knew how to wake me up and put me to sleep. In the recent month, I've had the opportunity to have Sue and Sunny as my therapists. They both provide pretty good massages. The last time I was there, I had Sue on a Friday night. Which usually isn't a good idea. (the Friday night part). Kinda busy. She took a long time with the massage, which was great, since I really needed it. It felt good down to my toes. The end of the hour came quickly.

Sunny does an excellent job as well, but she tends to be a little less friendly when showing you the way to / from the shower, and out the door. It's more like a "follow me" and there you go.

Does anyone know if Silk Spa is still around? And any reviews of it?

Cool, thank you. I have been there before but it has been a while, and wasn't sure if any of you guys had different service than I had. TK in greenbelt offers more menu options, but the ladies are not as attractive. I was just curious if Silk offered the same thing.

She had a great attitude.

It is in an interesting location, to say the least. I hope it stays open, because I spent an enjoyable hour there today. I am not putting anything on the board out of paranoia for them, but seniors can PM.

Spent my lunch hour today with Candi at Silk. Very nice massage with way above average HE. Great body with plenty to see for inspiration. Reading the FF led me to believe it would be expensive. But it was very reasonable. .5 hh with. 6 tip. Will repeat many times.

It is not the Rainbow of old.

It makes for a quiet night at Ye Olde Koyoto Spa. Which means, a nice, private, unrushed, relaxing session. For some reason I didn't realize that Amy was back (and she says she has been back for a while). I think it's actually been more than a year since I saw her. But she did remember me. I had a thorough massage, and left feeling relaxed. As you may recall, Amy is very conversational (some say too much) , is pretty friendly, and has a pretty filled out bod.

Can't tell you which days she works. 3-4 a week, perhaps.

She told me she normally works Saturday thru Tuesday. Had a great time, and she kept asking if the massage / walk on the back was too hard.

With staff rotating on a regular basis, you should call and check if she's working the day you plan on going. Then make an appointment with her, or she maybe taken when you arrive. I've heard the doorbell ring off the wall a few times when I was there. But there are times when they are slow.

Been a while but I was headed down that way so I figured I'd swing through. I didn't call ahead.

I drew a semi-attractive provider after the normal house for mama.

Shower, sauna, massage, flip, shower.

I won't get into the particulars but I will say this:

She wouldn't give her name. She kept asking who I had seen last and I told her August, which was true, but it was a long time ago. You can see my other reports. She had a scar on her face. She was very very hard to understand. At some points I was thinking she was being rude, and then nice. The negotiations were odd to say the least. Equal parts up-sell / berating about not enough tip. During the flip she kept mentioning how small I was during the shower and how big I was now. Kind of not a great thing to say to a guy but whatever. Equal parts mean / nice.

Too long in between visits and not a super happy provider I guess. I left relaxed though. So it wasn't a total wash.

Very nice. As good as the sessions I used to have at Blue Sky before it closed, and better than TK down south. I highly recommend, business is slow and they try to deliver a complete customer experience. 1.8 total and bring your own party supplies.

I went back to Kyoto last night and once inside I realized I forgot to leave my watch in the car. I took it off and put it in my jacket pocket. When I left I didn't remember to check my pocket until I was on the road but I am pretty sure I felt it there still. Now I cannot find my watch and I'm not so sure that I did feel it in my pocket last night. I cannot imagine they would ever steal from their customers who they want to come back but I can't be sure. Has this happened to anyone before? I called, not entirely trusting they would even tell me the truth, and the mamasan told me they had no "watchy" there. I'm freaking out that I can't find it.

I'd be surprised if someone took it.

My apologies to Kyoto. I traced my steps and the only stop I made on my way home was at the grocery store. I had called them on Saturday and no one had turned a watch in. But then I tried them again on Sunday to see if anyone had turned anything in since Saturday and after being on hold a couple minutes they came back and asked for a description of the watch. It was in their office. I was so relieved. I don't know what happened, but it was in my jacket pocket where I keep my keys. I must have pulled my keys out and the watch came with them and dropped somewhere. I'm a lucky S. O. B, for sure. I'm not letting that happen again. It goes right back on my wrist next time. I was not a happy camper this weekend.

Well, needed a little relaxation on Sunday and headed over to the place on RT 108. This time, I got Ruby. She was just my type; nice rack, curves, and pleasant personality. Paid the hour fee and got ready for the shower. Shower was quite nice with plenty of soap, playfulness, and everything made squeaky clean. The massage was actually pretty decent. Felt some cracking in the back and the muscles were loosened up. Before too long, the old familiar light touch began and all was looking good.

The negotiation part arrived and, since I was only interested in a HJ, I offered the customary amount. This is the only part of the experience that was a turn-off; Ruby asked for 100. Did I miss something? I thought she was offering to upgrade. However, she really thought she was going to get that amount out of me for the traditional HE. I told her no way. She tried to hold firm, junior was starting to withdraw, and I made the motion of preparing to walk. She quickly changed her tune, told me to bring more next time, and gave me what I wanted to the normal amount. The service was great. No complaints at all about performance and I'd be happy to have her work on me again. But, that attempt to gouge me was bothersome. She only works weekends. If you go, enjoy yourself, but don't let her bleed you.

WAL[/QUOTE]What you experienced was the provider trying to get from you what most other customers would have paid for her upgraded services. See she took you for an hour and lost a shot at someone else who may have opt'd for more.

You did the right thing by offering a fair amount for the reduced service. But there really is no harm in these girls asking for more, you don't ask and you won't receive, you and everyone else have the option to say no. They typically will provide the reduced service for the standard tip. But don't be upset because she asked for more, since from her point of view, providing you service potentially means she couldn't service someone else who was ready to pay more.

Conversely, if upgraded services were not offered a negative review could be written about a limited menu.

I tried going to TK and the ladies are not as pretty but they ones I had were really nice, but I kept going because the menu is more open there.

Shower was very nice as before, all parts attended to. She took me to the sauna and said she'd be back in two minutes. It seemed like more time had passed when she came back to get me though. Massage was decent this time, though I wish they had a place for my face in the table. Instead, I lay there with my head turned to one side and end up leaving with a sore neck. Just before the flip she asked if I wanted the usual and I asked for a slight upgrade. She obliged for. 2 more than the last time. .7/$.0. I'm interested in trying a new provider next time I make it out there.

Any recommendations?
