I've been cruising during the day down Jefferson/Broadway to Davis then back up Penn with very little success. So, as a change of pace, I've been cruising Grand between I-44 and Meramec. A couple weeks back I noticed a young WSW, thin, long brown hair. After seeing her 3 times, I pulled off to a side street, she walked over, got in the car and we did the cop thing. She had been in a fight with a couple other girls and was getting over a black eye, but she was pretty, intelligent, and looked pretty good. Her name is Kristi. She said she can be found on Grand during mornings and afternoons but I haven't seen her since that one time despite cruising several times.

The past week or so has really been dead on woodson except for the cop, s. I finally saw Kim and Annie out this evening around 7; 30. If you pick up Annie be carefull, this chick isn't right and I don't trust here at all. Was out Wednesday night. Saw a few girls and a few cops. Picked up Erin by the laundramat on Broadway. Creamy skin, black hair, BBW. Had great boobs. performance was only ok.

Do all of the girls say 'I'm not usually out but tonight...'? It seems I always find some one who doesn't do this kind of thing, but knows all of the other girls and all of the streets.

They all say that. the other line is "I'm from out of town and just here for (sick relative, staying with friends, stuck with no way to get home)." And just like your point, Jeffc, even though they claim to not be from around there they know all the streets and all the girls.

My favorite is when they put down other girls for dating to make money for drugs and that they have more dignity than that. Then right after the date, they're on the phone with the dope man saying, "I needa dub....can I come by?....I got $30..."

I met an older blonde Thursday night about midnite at Meramec & Broadway, her name was Amy. So-so bbbj...dropped her off at Meramec & California.

Came through STL today, started out west so I decided to try Limbergh and saw a wsw near Steak and Shake just as she was jumping in a car. Cruised the congressional lot and then went down to the U-turn and saw the wsw again. by the time I made the loop she was picked up and went to her room at the congressional. As I waited for her a couple of bsw walked by. One was kind of cute the other not so. So I passed assuming the not so would be the one working.

Giving up there and leary of Bridgeton LEO I decided to go to Woodson road. Cruised it 3 times and never saw any one.

On to south broadway. Saw a bsw on Winnebago and broadway and passed on her. She was the first I saw so I wanted to see what else is out. Cuised on down to S Broadway and cruised it from bates down to CFM back up over to Michigan all the way back up over to Grand by the Arby's and nothing. Finally found one down by the park on S Penn. She was sitting on a tailgate of an old Ford pick up. As I circled I saw some LEO so I circled again and saw the same LEO so I decided 2 hrs of looking is enough and left. I am working near STL this week so I am sure I will get back there. No use rushing it.

If a new bill passes in St. Louis, it may become a whole lot easier for police to arrest mongers looking for street walkers.

Now an alderman who represents much of the Gravois Park neighborhood has introduced a bill in the Board of Aldermen [color=brown]allowing the police chief to designate certain areas known for gang activity, drugs and prostitution as off limits to loitering.[/color]

The police know the drug dealers, gang members and prostitutes who hang around these areas, said Alderman Craig Schmid, D-20th Ward, who introduced the bill recently at the start of the 2008-2009 session of the Board of Aldermen. [color=brown]"There’s [currently] no mechanism to try to disperse it before it happens."[/color]

One of the ways that gangs take over an area is by loitering and intimidating law-abiding people, Schmid said.

The bill balances concerns about breaking up loitering related to criminal street gangs, prostitution and illegal drug sales with the rights of assembly and free speech, Schmid said.

Around the country, there have been problems with such laws, said David Curry, professor of criminology and criminal justice at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

"It’s usually resulted in crime moving elsewhere," Curry said.

Some of the laws have been struck down, Curry said.

It’s a question of who’s loitering for illegal purposes and who is simply standing on a sidewalk and enjoying being outside, he said.

In Schmid’s bill, a "no loitering" area could be designated anywhere there have been more than 20 police calls and six arrests in any six-month period in the last 20 months. It also could be declared in any "Weed and Seed" area established by the U.S. Department of Justice to "weed out" crime.

Under the ordinance, signs could be posted in a designated no loitering area or property owners would receive mailed notices.

After that, police could arrest people making signals to sell drugs or solicit prostitution.[/color] They also could arrest anyone using gang signs or wearing gang colors while with a known gang leader.

[color=brown]Police also could order people to leave the area and threaten to arrest them if they return within three hours.[/color]

Violators could be fined $100 to $500 and receive up to 90 days in jail.

Schmid’s bill takes a lesson from a similar Chicago bill on loitering that was approved in 1992.

The Supreme Court voted 6-3 to strike down the law, which made little difference between law-abiding citizens and gang members.

But the Court suggested an ordinance might be Constitutional if the language made it clear the law was targeted at loiterers who appeared to be trying to seek criminal control over an area.

A new law was passed in Chicago making those distinctions and remains in effect.

In Schmid’s bill, to protect civil liberties, the police chief would suspend enforcement of the law for people involved in advocacy activities, like giving out leaflets.

People also could obtain a permit from the city to engage in lawful loitering in a "no loitering" zone.

As far as Ford goes, she believes such a law might improve things for her neighborhood. But she said the Board of Aldermen pass too many bills that are passed and police do nothing about them.

Last time I was in town about 6 weeks ago, I saw a late-model, black, Monte Carlo police car with the words "Division of Traffic Safety" on the door. It sported one of the new-fangled low-profile bubble-gum machines on the roof, and was driving on S. Grand Blvd.

Another time I was in town, I saw another "Division of Traffic Safety" vehicle. It was a white Cherokee-type of SUV. It also was driving on South Grand.

Anybody know anything about the "Divisioin of Traffic Safety?" I'm guessing it's part of the police department. Are these guys even more hard-nosed about catching mongers and SWs than the regular police? What do they do mostly?

Well here is hoping that the action moves to another area. I for one would not want to get ticketed/jailed for just driving through the area and not have a good enough excuse for being there.

These Three people were questioned and released for the murder of Nina Polk.
We all know these three committed the crime with a crow bar.

Stay the hell away from these people. They are bad. Very bad.

The SUV would be a Tahoe, all SLPD vehicles are GMs. Traffic Safety is independent of the divisions and is used for special enforcement areas as well as traffic duties.

The other night, I saw signs at both Meramec & Grand and further down at Chippewa & Grand that said "This area under surveillance by mobile cameras" or some such BS

That's good to hear. The more cameras, the better, I think. You probably heard that, on Thursday, some guy got shot in the stomach when a beauty supply store on South Grand was robbed at 4 PM in the afternoon.

I wonder if the cameras are run by the city or by private businesses. Here in Columbia, MO, on Garth Avenue (the main Street Walker strip), there's a business called "DW Home and Auto Mobility" that recently installed 24-hour outdoor cameras. There's a lot of crime in that area. Street walkers are the least problem police need to worry about.

The parking lot area next to the strip club called Club Vogue also has a sign saying video surveillance.

Working in town and decided to take a stroll. It was sunny when I left but by the time I hit the stroll it was pouring, 8:30pm. Saw one WSW around the fire station near the CFM on S Broadway. After circling around the block she approached the car, she didn't do it for me. 30's blonde, she was alll wet so I passed. So I cruised over to Woodson and when I got there it was a river. The water was 6 inches deep in places. Needless to say no one was out. So I tried the area over near the Congressional Inn. Saw a possibility go into a room. She kept looking out the window, I flashed my lights at her but she didn't give me a sign. By this time it stopped raining so I decided to head back down to S Broadway. I saw a cute young BSW near the 7-11. I circled back and picked her up. I usally shy away from BSW's but this girl was young and fresh. Her name was Jasmine and she was definitly nice and we settled on. 5 for 1/2 and 1/2.

I rate her an 8 on looks 8 on technique and 8 on over all performance. She definitly wanted me to take her number so I did.

On my way back to my hotel on the East side I decided to cruise the Brooklyn stroll. As I was driving by the wash rack I got behind an 18 wheeler. As I made the the right turn I guess I rolled through the stop sign and local LEO didn't take to kindly to it. He stopped in the middle of the road facing me and motioned for me to stop. He pulled up along side of me and informed me of my failure to stop and asked me where I was going. I told him I was sorry for failing to stop and was headed for the high way. He asked for my licsence and told me "to be careful. There are several big trucks out here and lots of crack ******" I just laughed and he gave me my liscence back. He never got out of the car, never ran my plates or nothing. I took that as a good omen and headed back to the hotel.

I miss Columbia. I miss cruising down Garth. I miss hitting Vogue and Stephanie's. No extras offered at either. I miss them just the same.

Last Thursday around 9 PM I checked out Lindbergh and the Congress Inn. Nothing. Then went up and down Woodson. Again, nothing. Then I proceeded east on the Rock Road to the MLK stroll. I saw bsw #1 on the north side of MLK by the park between Academy and Kingshighway. She appeared to be over 6 feet tall so I wanted to come back around for a second look to make sure she was really a female. While going around the block I spotted bsw #2 on Academy between Wells and MLK. Her hair was short almost to the point of appearing shaved and her face was rough, so I passed her by. Going westbound on MLK I saw bsw #1 again. Her ass appeared to be female-shaped but I decided to keep going.

A police car pulled out two cars in front of me and a second one two cars behind me as I passed Academy. I saw bsw #3 on MLK just west of Academy. She was very hefty and not at all desirable. Then as I was coming up to Union I saw bsw #4. She was young and had a very cute face. And despite the fact that I’m in a line of cars that includes two squad cars, she gives me the wave! I turn right on Union hoping to go around the block to get a second pass at her. Right after I make the turn I have to go around a third police car that has three guys sitting on the curb being interrogated. I make a right on Cote Brilliant to head east. I have to squeeze between two vehicles partially blocking the street to get through. They turn out to be two police vans and cops are standing around talking looking at me as I pass through. So probably some drug busts were going down.

I turn right on Academy to get back to MLK when I come up on bsw #5. She is thin but with a prominent ass and has a pretty face. She yells “Hey” as I pass so I pull up and let her in. She says her name is Jazzy or something like that. She proceeds to tell me that she specializes in white guys and doesn’t get high and has no man and a four year-old daughter to support, lives in North County but comes down here “sometimes”—the usual story. She informs me that she has condoms. She tries to direct me to a spot but I tell her I don’t do car dates and I want to go to a motel. I tell her it’s the one at Page and Keinlen and she says “cool” and off we go. I ask her how much for head and pussy and she says “Whatever you can stand.”

The Page Inn is on Page just west of Keinlen so it’s actually in the County. It is on the south side of Page. When I parked, she asked me if I wanted her to come with me or stay in the car when I check in. I had her come with me. It’s $22 for two hours, $2 of which is the key deposit. Unlike the places on the east side, they don’t ask for any id. As we’re heading to the room, she is walking in front of me shaking her booty. The room is OK. The door knob locks plus there is a deadbolt. For whatever reason, the bathroom has no door. She helps me find the porn channel and she starts to get undressed.
