This will probably affect late night rendezvous to massage parlors.

A lot of the trafficking are usually initiated by women.
SDASP (*****) FYI (My soapbox)
I know there's already a thread on the ol SDASP memory lane, just some more info I was able to dig into:

Also very interesting (flip side of the coin).

Are we as mongers or hobbyists perpetuating or contributing to human trafficking?
IMHO, I believe human trafficking is wrong and that people (not just women, underage women and the like) should not be forced to do what they should or could not do.
I do support the women who decide for themselves to be in this industry, that's the entrepreneur in everyone.
OK so I sent texts on rubrating to:
Mila.
Jussara.
Taz.
Then a few moments later I got a call from central division San Diego police. I use a burner app which isn't ironclad. I deleted account / app.
Anyone experience something similar?
Text msg to a provider then a call from police?
WTF? If they want to bust people they need to set up a sting. I can't get in trouble for texting a sex worker right? All I said was "you avail?
Careful guys.
Just a FYI.
For messaging "you avail" They hate that.
JK.
Next time answer the call.

Just a FYI.[/QUOTE]I also use burner phone and have received missed calls from San Diego Police Central, Main and anther division. Also one that come ups as the LAPD. I think its probably some scammers that might by trying to do a shakedown and spoofing the phone numbers. I just blocked them all.
Seriously, think about this for a minute.
Can you send a text to a provider and now LE is going to hunt you down arrest you?
What crime did you commit? What law did you break asking is somebody available?
Unless you exchange money for sexual services it's not prostitution. Sending a text to somebody is the basis of being arrested for solicitation? Did you specify an act in your text and the amount of payment?
I genuinely think there's a lot of guilt and projection going on here that would make you ideal for a scammer to play on your fear and anxiety.
More likely that you should worry about some pimp trying to con your ass and shake you down.

I stick to picking up's because they are cheaper. I against sex trafficking as well. My own belief is that if a girl works the streets there is nothing to prevent her from leaving the business if she decides to so. All she has to do is call the police and or flag one down and tell them that a pimp is trying to force her to work. It is not easy, but they still have a choice if they decide to do so.

Over a year ago, on another site, I pretty much went through all the ads, contacted any that looked fishy and reported to the site as soon as they tried to scam me by wanting the old electronic payment. Didn't take long before I got threatening text messages with pics of decapitated bodies from people claiming to be part of this or that cartel. A few weeks ago I got a call on my phone from someone claiming to be with SDPD. Did you know you can look up every single SDPD officer by name and badge number? You can! He claimed I had contacted an underage girl and blah blah blah. I called him out and hung up. Don't let these loser scammers intimidate you. I don't use a burner and don't plan to. Never have. That is all.

Just glad to hear that I'm not the only one getting them. I'll try to pay attention from now on, who I text prior to the calls coming in.
In media yesterday, surprised no prior report here.
