Roman and CI, Generally when a SW has a $400 dollar a day goal, it's what she has to bring in to satisfy her pimp which most of these girls have. Second, we don't run the same risks of LE and robbery. Unless LE actually catches us in the act or we make an offer to an undercover through our car window, we run little risk of arrest. On the other hand, most of the SW's who have been working a couple of years have been arrested dozens of times. Robbery usually only occurs when you leave valuables within her reach or you park in a spot of her choosing. On the other hand, a SW is easily overpowered by the average guy and is an easy target for pimps, mongers, and even other girls.

Hi all was out yesterday around 1 30 There was a girl at the buss stop on 82 and Glisan. As for the arrest thing my point of view is this. If a sw gets arrested, what is the real impact on her lifestyle and future? Now if the average monger gets arrested look at the impact on his life. If he is married…, even if his employer does not find out about it he now has a record and any future employer doing a background check(and they all do now) will see it and probably not hire him. Plus the cost, possible impound of your car, loss of your car if the sw is carrying drugs… So I stick to my point that we have way more to lose than the sw if we are arrested.
As for robbery, I was referring to the sw that takes off with your cash with out performing her part of the deal. I hate to admit it but I have had that happen close to a dozen times in the last few years.
Just one mans humble opinion.

You're right the monger generally has more to lose, although in all my years of mongering I've never lost my car, been arrested; and although I've had several SW's in the past few years do the cash and dash as well, I consider that a cost of doing business. I figure that the cash and dash costs me about an additional 50 cents each time I monger. If you're careful, pay attention to these boards you can minimize your risks substantially.

I was mainly responding to your point about where else could these girls make $400 dollars a day and the fact is that very very few are making anywhere close to that. I'd say after the pimp takes his cut she's lucky if she's pocketing $40 a day. And I've known a lot of SW's who when they do finally get out of the business find it next to impossible to find a job when the employer finds a ten-page long rap sheet. So it does affect her long-term prospects as well.

I thought I would follow up on my “setting the price” comment, before I made the comment the main topic seemed to be how “Bigjohn” and and few others managed to talk a twenty year old down to twenty dollars after driving her far from where they picked her up bragging and gloating.
