We see posts frequently from guys who got ripped-off when posts indicated the girls were bad news or the guys rushed in and were unaware of the basic 'rules' of the hobby.
But hey, I don't see many newbies asking 'how to' questions. Why is that? Hubris? It looks easy? Ignorance? Afraid to look un-knowledgeable in public? This place is the best thing, next to a bunch of YouTube videos, on 'how to,' it is shocking how few use the resource.
[U]If one is afraid they are going to do research wrong, then they clearly have much to learn![/U] Now I get no one wants to hear that something as easy as scooping a girl or responding to an online advert is complex or requires a bit of learning. But again, each person is responsible for their own safety! You can't farm that out to posters on a MB! You need Spidey Senses, techniques, knowledge and gile in your quiver when sh! T happens. No time to stop, post on a thread and get a reply.
Part of doing research, like hobbying, is learning how to. Instead of insisting others do or think for them, each dude needs to learn "how to" for himself! Mistakes will be made in the hobby, it is each guy's choice of the severity of those mistakes by the knowledge they obtain. You can learn "experientially" on the streets, hotels, etc or "book learn" here. Oh the later will make you a bit of a nerd, but the former could cause financial loss, arrest or physical harm. Your choice: learn to do "research" or blindly stumble along.
So what are the arguments against learning to do research on one's own?

But one dude shows up and literally BEGS for digits! I mean 3 Pleases in a row? (Please Please Please) So I look at the dude's profile and see here's been around for 2 years (8/2018) and has a total of 3 posts!
So it needs to be said, if types like this bother to read the boards. Here is how things work around here!
You need to build some "cred" around here before anyone will take you serious! How do you do that?
1) Post reports about the dates you had. The more explicit the better. Don't just say it was nice or the the girl was nice. We want to know how things went:
* What services did you get?
* How was the girl at providing those services? The best you ever had? Average? Was she too toothy with head, too fast, used her hand. How many positions, tight, loose. Etc.
* Where was the place you dated? Did she provide it? Was it clean, messy, safe?
* Where did you find her: street scoop? (where) Walmart pickup? Website (which one), referral?
* Is he with an agency? Independent? Has a BF, cousin? Handler?
2) You need to post a screen shot of her advert. Don't know how to do that on a smart phone? Google taking a screen shot on Android / iPhone. This does a few things. First it preserves the advert for others to see. Posting just a link is often useless and the posts or websites often go down. With the post captured, we have some info about the girl and about rates and contact info.
3) You need to post naked pictures of the girl! You can get those from her post, often girls will send one or take one during your date. Most won't object it you leave her face out of the frame and / or avoid any unique tats. Doing this builds instant cred. If you don't know why then you don't know what you need to know to be in the hobby.
4) One can build cred by telling about what methods or techniques one has used and asking for advice on how to improve. Think you know it all of that it is easy? The hobby has many lessons to teach, and one can learn those lessons by posting here, OR by getting ripped-off, scammed, injured or arrested.
5) If you are asking for something, have something to give in return. That is only fair. Why should any guy do all of the work and you just get a free ride? You may think you are a special case, but the person you asked has no idea that is the case. Your desperation isn't anyone else's concern to fix. We can help you learn "how to" so that you never need to be desperate again.
But showing up with your hand out with zero cred? I mean I guess it might work with a few that don't get it or those who work for LE. But this isn't Reddit or some other social media site. Guys have learned the hard way and want something in return. How does anyone know you aren't LE trying to set them up? We all know some level of LE lies like a rug and anyone who has watched a cop show knows they are permitted to lie in many circumstances. So how big a jump is it from referral to pimp? Might be low probability, but you want to have a convo to prove or refute such or have to hire a lawyer to get out of a jam?
So the bottom line is, show up and POST REPORTS! Build some cred, make some friends by helping out. Do that and the info flows freely through b / c.

So I have a stalker, a dude who likes to slam my posts and send me hate mail every opportunity he can find to criticize something I wrote. Best I can tell the dude is jealous of what he's not getting? But hey I could be wrong.
But this recent PM takes the cake, he send me a note slamming me for writing that I stopped and talked to a girl and tossed her a few buck and bought her something to drink. Said that doing that made me a sucker and it was embarrassing! Just goes to show how stupid or dumb, or should I say ignorant (uneducated), some long term hobbyists are. Do you think this kindness is a waste of time?

If you don't know or understand why it is I did what I did then I can say with a certainty that you do not know what you need to know to be safe in the hobby.
