Whats up with that?[/QUOTE]Well with ios 26 update last month, you are able to have call screen to see whos calling and what they want. So I'm guessing, if you call these girls privately. They will have you talk to auto robot call first so they know whos calling and why.

Whats up with that?[/QUOTE]IMessage is end to end encrypted between devices, I believe it is also true for Facetime or Facetime Audio. (essentially a VOIP connection to the end user).
There are more secure options, but not as easy for end users (What's App / Signal you both have to have the app downloaded and configured, putting an iPhone rule in just makes it simple.
Old phones can do this so it's not really an issue in phone price anymore.
This is only a guess on my part, though.
RCS supports end to end encryption in theory, but depends on the hardware and carrier.
