Stopped by Show Palace as I was passing through on my way back to Madison. This club is very hit or miss in my experience, especially when I've gone early like today but today was a good short visit. I've never seen more than 6 customers there but then I've also never been there after 7:00 pm. To start with the facilities are a lot nicer than you'd expect in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. Dances are 25 per song or 150 for a 30 min VIP. I got a red bull for 5 bucks but I'm not sure how much other drinks are.

I arrived around 4:30 or 5:00 and there were no other customers. There was a bartender and two other women who I assume were dancers but were not my type. My first impression was that this was going to be one of those miss days so I got ready to drink my over price red bull quick and get ready to go and maybe stop by Vegas Cub on the way home when someone came in from the smoking area. I did stop by the boxx office and the look of the place has not changed. I had only been in Paradise city one time in the past last year. Noting appears to have changed. I am sure the dancers have but I don't know. It was around 830 when I got there and there was about 7-10 guest in there at the time. Was in the area a few weeks ago but the lack of snow made snowmobiling impossible. The lineup was pretty good compared to my expectations. Last night, my buddy and I decided to hit a strip club instead of going to a regular bar. Being that we're in the southern part of Rock County, there aren't alot of choices. Neither of us is a fan of Isabella Queen, so we debated between the 2 bikini-bars in Rockford, or the 2 strip clubs in Darien. It wasn't an easy choice, because non of those 4 clubs is very impressive. Eventually, we just decided to go to Showpalace, since neither one of us has been up that way in quite a while. We got out there at about 10:30 pm. It was really busy. After paying the $10 cover, we went and sat at the far end of the bar. Right away, the "shot girl" and one of the bartenders started trying to push shots on us. They were really pushy about it, which kinda irritated me. We ended up doing one shot, but said no to anymore. As far as the talent goes, there were 2 really good looking blondes. Other than that, I didn't see much that caught my eye. One very skinny brunette came over to my buddy, after we had been there for about an hour. After about ten minutes of her sitting on my buddies lap, they went off to the lap dance both. When he finally came back, he said he had spent $115 on 3 dances! They're supposed to be $25 a dance, but apparently, she had 3 "tip options" ($20, $40, or $60) that would "make the dances better". Dumb-ass got conned into doing the $60 tip. Sucker! Basically, it was the same kind of touchy-feely dances that you get at the bikini bars in Rockford, except this chick pulled down her panties and was grinding on my buddies lap (yes, his pants were still on) with her bare kitty. She only did that for a few minutes. That was the extent of the "extra fun". Definitely not worth $115 for three dances. Anyway, I was the invisible man to any chick that wasn't the shot girl or bartender. Just like being at Bigfoot, down in Rockford! One of the hot blondes that I saw, was constantly hanging around a really old guy. The other one, was working with a friend of hers. Basically, approaching certain guys as a kind of "tag-team". Despite there being a decent number of ladies there, I was ignored for the 2 and 1/2 hours I was there. My buddy only got approached by the anorexic brunette. It was a waster of a night. Made the mistake of stopping at Isabella, recently. What a waste of a $10.00 cover charge! The talent in this place isn't very good. That's being nice. They have one hot dancer, named "Penny", but I guess she's leaving soon. Isabella's recently raised their rates for VIP. It used to be $125 for 30 minutes, but now it's $125 for 15 minutes. Half-hour is $250. I was also told, by one of the dancers, that they no longer include drinks with VIP prices. Also, they're thinking about increasing the door fee. Supposedly, Isabella's is going to have the same prices as Showpalace (in Darian). What a joke! They should leave their rates the way they were and work on getting some talent in there. As I had expected, guys have been pretty loose with their money the last few weeks. With the stimulus check & for some tax refunds, guys are blowing their money pretty fast. Some believe there will be another stimulus & another coming, we will see, but I'm not counting on it.

Guys need to realize they should determine who they spend money on and not let the strippers decide for them. I see guys spend on the first halfway cute girl that talks to them. You guys need to realize there are strippers good at selling dances & strippers good at giving dances. You want the later.

It's hard to tell a stripper she needs improve her dance routine or communication, such as responding to texts, when fools are showering money on her. The fools will of course soon run out of money, and since there girls don't save they will need your money again eventually.

You have to get the phone numbers and text back & forth for awhile. When the time seems right, suggest on doing private dances so the club does not take a cut of the money. Don't worry it might take 2-3 times suggesting this for it to work.

If they are making good money at the club, they may not be inclined to do so, but eventually (like a few months to 2 years max) the money runs dry for every stripper, so then she'll be up for you offer.

" Once you've experienced who's who, then you can make a final assessment to see who'd be the best person to spend your money on, if any. If no one floats your boat at all, try a different club or the same club on a different day / shift.

You should leave some room for intuition--sometimes you might connect with a dancer at the outset and you just know she's the one. At one of my recent successful club visits I think I had dances from three women before I happened upon the fourth and she was the best out of all of them by a mile--there was no need to test the waters anymore so I just rolled with that and had a fantastic time.

The two clubs just outside Darien have been around a long time -- longer than my strip club going days. Vegas Club & Show Palace.

To me it has always felt like Show Palace is still trying to realize it's potential and Vegas Club still keeps holding on to it's reputation from now several years ago. Right now I would say Vegas Club has more talent by a decent margin.

Very few current dancers know how to give a good lap dance, the knowledge must not have been passed down from the last generation of dancers. I think extras are possible at Show Palace, but they don't have much talent now.

I am not really confident in trying for more at the Vegas Club. If anyone has different experiences, please feel free to share.

Get dancers numbers and you will get asked for money. Then you ask to do OTC.

Have had several OTC sessions ruined recently because some knob spends a lot of money in club. Seeing a dancer OTC for the first time is a big adreline rush. Even if its for just drinks or dinner, so stop ruining this for other guys.

Based on some reviews I decided to venture over ther from Rice Lake. There supposed to be 6 girls, I saw four and some of them were pretty over weight.

Had a beer and a gal named Claire sat by me. We chatted and decided to do some dances, they are $25 for 1, $t0 for 2 or $150 for 15 minutes or $300 for 30 minutes and you get two free drinks. I decided to try the $150 as they had curtains, she sat on my lap and I put my arms over her legs and was told no touching. WTF? $150 for some light grinding and boobs rubbed in your face. They actually had timers in the booths. Stay away.

My wife and I headed for Cruisin' Chubbys Saturday night to take a calendar I had made from a photo shoot to a girl who was dancing there. It's only 60 miles from our home, but we never go there because of it's poor reputation and the experiences I had there the only other time I ever visited which was about 20 years ago.

Anyway, we arrived about 7:30,30 minutes after they opened. We walked in and I wasn't expecting a cover that early but there was one. Even with no dancers on stage, maybe 2 customers and one dancer sitting playing with her phone at the bar. It would have cost the two of us 40 bucks just to walk through the door. I told the door attendant we had something for one of the dancers and I'd text her to just come out there to get it. He got grumpy and demanded her name, said someone would "go and bring her out" even though he saw I was already texting her, then demanded her name again. I told him I wasn't sure what name she was using but gave a name I thought might be right and he just played dumb.

We did finally get the calendar to her and Crusin Chubbys lived up to its reputation of being just a small town tourist trap that is dead except for summers and deer season. I'm told most of the girls are attractive that work there but the private dances go for $40.00 and are quite tame. The club it's self looks really nice, was clean with ample parking and would be a great place to go except they think they are in New York City, or L. A. Or some real city where you can expect higher prices, not a farm community in Wisconsin.

All in all not worth the trip even if you happen to live right in town. Maybe I'll try it again in another 20 years.

Maybe I'll try it again in another 20 years.Chubby's is what it is: A place for those with too much money (read: Illini), having a guys night in the Dells or maybe a bachelor party, to go pretend they're wild and crazy without feeling like they're actually doing anything wrong because, with the limited service, they're not. You used the phrase tourist trap. That's not an awful way to put it. A lot of the Dells is that way, after all. It must be something that wears off the dam into the water.

I ended up at Chubby's once this summer on my way elsewhere and yes, there were some nice looking ladies. A couple were fun to talk to. But I got the sense they didn't want much to do with me as a lone wolf among the many groups that were there. They knew they could make more money from others out for more of a party experience.

I will say this: At least it had attractive women, which made it a better stop than The Boxxx Office. But if I had to recommend a club in that direction, I'd recommend Wisconsin Dolls. Not nearly as nice of a club, or as nice a group of ladies, but the few diamonds in the rough and better dances & prices make it a better option on the whole.

Stopped at Sugars in Hager, WI. This place has always been fun. I'm not a regular, but several times a year.

I had a horrible experience several weeks ago. I paid for 15 minutes. The dancer kept asking for more money every sixty seconds. Disappointing and frustrating. At the five minute point, I said we were good and I ended the experience. Zero entertainment. Just a hustle. I had planned several more dances, but I left Sugars shortly after.

Is Sugars becoming a clip joint? Or was it just this dancer? Or is this how things work now? I'm tempted to give them another go, but that experience was really bad.

I visit Sugars in Hager, WI several times a year. It's always been good.

This last visit was just bad. I purchased a 15 minute dance. Every sixty seconds, the dancer kept asking for more money. It was distracting and frustrating and a cheap hustle. I had been planning on 3 or 4 dances. Instead, I told the dancer after five minutes that we were good and I ended the session. It was a hustle. Reminds me of the descriptions of the old clip joints that exist to cheat the customer.

I'm not sure if this is the new Sugars or it was the dancer or this is the new standard. I'm debating whether to go back ever again.

I've had some really good times here the past year or two. Lots of ladies visiting from the cities. Extras definitely available and quite possible to get some action outside the club.

Heading up north this weekend. Anyone have any info on Bucktails near Eagle River? Any insight on what goes on in VIP would be helpful. PM would work. Going to check it out and will post a review afterwards.

Hurley is also entertaining with half a dozen strip clubs. Wondering what their lap dances are like and which club might be best for that.

I actually spilled a bottle of beer in the men's room, accident, but it gave me the perfect excuse to leave. So I went to dinner downtown LG. Staff was real cool about cleaning up. I told them about my honest slip up and they kinda laughed and cleaned it up right away. No issues, so for that I will go back. This place is more fun with no extras I gather. No one posts about sugar shack and now I see why. I went back later that night after dinner and it was still slow and someone tried to talk to me about VIP but no vibe and no hints of extras. When I said "no, nothing happens in VIP," she said, "you're right. " and I knew it was time to leave. It was around 10:30 pm. Enjoyed talking with her she was cooler than the first chick I talked to earlier in the night. I feel like this place is a horrible Chicago club and just a low key spot for young people to do their cheesy bachelor and bachelorette party gimmicks. That's cool and this place is perfect for that. Just wish it was more of a WI club, with extras, fun, and good times.

I actually ended up making kind of the Lake Geneva tour that night. Best experience was at The Vegas Club. Dumpy place, but some of the talent was pretty good. Seems to be pretty popular right now. I'd give it a chance.

Sugar Shack is at least nice atmosphere for having a beverage and watching a game.

I've found the talent at Show Palace to be highly variable. Seems to be a little down right now.

Lake Geneva is a very different place in the summer, with the vacationing Illini, than it is in the winter, so keep that in mind as well. Talent may come and go along with the folks summering there.

I am heading north snowmobiling next weekend. Somewhere along US Highway 51. I can wander off the main road as long as I can get a place to stay. I was wondering how far to go to find good snow but in an area that has entertainment maybe with take-out or OTC. Seems like farthest north has the best snow but smallest towns and fewer opportunities. Two years ago I went all the way to Hurley, WI. Was in a club. Dancer promised a lot. The "private dance" area had a curtain and a camera. I did not catch the camera right away. The minute I started to wander, the big old lady from behind the bar was screaming at me through the curtain. Did I mention big lady? The dancer apologized and told me all the clubs had to install cameras.

Dancer was cute enough and very flirty. Place was very slow. Only two dancers and a couple of other guys. Talked a little while as long as I bought her $15 drinks Till I knew I was getting totally played. I left and stuck to snowmobiling. Sad thing is that year the snow was not even any good in March.

Any recommendations. I would consider a highly recommended escort who I could see a few times or a club where extras are offered. Feel free to PM.
