I see what you are saying and you are correct in that a few people overpaying is not going to cause prices to increase across the board. It's like a waiter expecting 40% tips every time because a few people a couple of times decided to tip that much for their meal, which is not a logical conclusion. At the end of the day, this is a negotiation between you and the service provider. There is a standard rate but it can go up or down depending on several factors. The person with the money has all the power in this negotiation. You set a realistic expectation of what you want and how much you are willing to pay and hold that line. You either get what you want, for a price you are ok with, or you walk away and find someone who is more willing to work with you.

The problem exists where people go into these types of negotiations either not knowing the standard rates or not knowing its a negotiation at all. Figured I would try something new to me since I have been fairly quiet here lately, only going to my regular.

Okay, so I just discovered this resource the other day, wish I had found it before. So new here but not new to the activity. Spas visited: Thai BBG, HP Magic Hands, 1+1.

First up is BBG: Look up in forum for details of location and building. Two aunties present, both wearing sundresses which is always a good sign. Both were pretty meh in the looks department. Not fat but certainly not tight, not a lot of enthusiasm it seemed but were friendly enough for me to stick around for hhr (. 55 which was odd) to see what was up. I did my own recce the other day.

Oil up north by Zips was an absolute no go.

Old, flabby, toothy. Both of them.

Said I'd be back and hit the door quick like.
