This happens more often than I can count. One good rule, if they are showing signs of flaking. Well, it's likely true! If I hear hints of it. Or "falling asleep in the car in the driveway? Move on. Word of caution: don't let your guard down too far when picking the next target!
Just me, I don't sit and wait long. It's just not worth it.

This has been a terrible weekend for me in the hobby. The first time in I can't remember I get a 3 day weekend, so I decide to try to have a little fun. I mentioned the others I tried to contact with no luck, so last night I tried the California Girl. I have seen her in the past, so why not see her again?
Called her and went straight to voice mail. About 30 minutes later, she calls back. Told me she had to run out, and would be back in 45 minutes to an hour. That was fine, cause with traffic on 85, I figured I was about an hour away. Told her when she got back to give me a call. I drive to Greenville, about an hour and half later, no call. I called, went to voice mail. Waited couple more minutes, started to go to a bar, when she texted me, saying she would call in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, my phone is still silent. I sent a few text, with no reply, so I started my 50+ mile drive home. She texted back about 10 minutes later, saying she got home, and fell asleep in her car in her drive way. She was apologetic, but did not offer to reschedule, or did not offer a reduced donation, in my opinion, when a provider messes up like that, they should offer something for the waste of time and gas.
So, basically, on a rare weekend off, I struck out at least 5 times with providers. Needless to say, something like this really makes me want to say to hell with it, and just put my money in the bank.

Whether you put your hard-earned money into the bank, an investment, a new toy or a better car at least you'll have something tangible that can also bring you happiness. Why put up with all the crap? As much as we feel like we need them, the truth is they need us just as much if not more. We can go a week or three doing without while most of them would have a tough time going a few hours or a day without their fix. How many times have we handed a provider the jack and she has to run off right then and there to make a phone call, pay a landlord, re-pay a relative or friend? Sure. We all know that was a drug deal and it wouldn't have happened if one of us hadn't provided them the money.
As for me I'm going to try meeting a provider one more time and if it bombs, I'm gone again and, maybe, for good.

The hobby has changed once again with backpage limiting "paid only posting" (with bit coins) in their "dating" section. This has decreased the amount of posting by 50%. The other strong factor is a 'dramatic rise' in drug and heroin use. I would think this would bring the street walker back in full bloom by summer - 2018.
I have not visited any of the backpage ladies in a long time, my direction is UTR types only.

Jeff.I agree with your assessment and I believe many on this forum share your sentiment. I think that we need to become assertive when it comes to actually finding a way to walk away from a provider when we find or run into red flags. I personally decided to skip on providers where reviews are lacking unless I'm willing to toftt. When you toftt be prepared to roll the dice and accept the consequences. If a provider has mixed reviews at least we know that she's for real and YMMV. In my opinion just be diligent, be very selective and guard your money like you don't have any to waste and that'll help cut down on disappointments.

I saw Harley's ad 2-3 weeks ago and decided to give her a try. She picked up on my first call. I introduced myself and asked her if she was available that afternoon. We made an appointment and she told me to call her when I reached a certain exit on I-85. I called from there and she texted me a street address a few minutes away. I am not surprised that several of you have had issues. It seems to the rule nowadays vs the exception. 10 years ago there were quality websites with listings, and providers with links to websites, etc. As some of those shut down and have long since faded from memory there was a shift to Craigslist and then Backpage, where for a period of time you could scan ads and find a quality woman to find some time with. Unfortunately, those sites instead of evolving, devolved into chaos and mayhem. Craigslist has sort of faded into obscurity and their "dating / seeking pages" seem to be loaded with email scammers and probably guys looking for pics, etc. Backpage when they started the fee to bump a post to the top every hour resulted in what seemed like 50 posts a day from the same woman, multiplied by multiple posters and of course LE infiltration looking to make news headlines when they can. Now between LEO, women who double and triple book, pimps, strung out junkies looking for their next score and guys waiting outside the motel room doors or inside to rob you, I've made a conscience decision over the past several months to move away from Backpage, etc. It no longer seems worth it to deal with a ton a drama and wasted effort to be stood up, in some cases 2-3 times in a single night.
Over the past few months, I have been gradually shifting my focus to UTR type providers. Several months ago I was fortunate to receive info on an exceptional quality UTR from a member named Figmint. For a week I tried to get in touch with her, finally late the other night I called and she answered. Took 3 phone calls and 30 min, but I ended up at a low low low end motel off Augusta rd. If you google the phone number, you'll find a scam review site where the same "senior reviewer" has posted dozens and dozens of generic great reviews, and this number was one of them. They were all posted simultaneously at the same exact date and time, so it was done offline and uploaded together. Here's his review for this number (actually for a different posting, but same phone number):

This was likely copied from a real review of a real girl. What others have said about her? It's the only damn post in the thread LOL. If you want to expose the scammer or 100% verify this is fake, you can try texting them, then find out how little they know about where they supposedly are, on Old Country Rd. Sometimes it's fun to do, but they usually go radio silent once they've been exposed as a fraud.

A little friendly reminder for you from a fellow monger. Jewls, and all the other girls in the biz, have a personal life outside of the biz. Especially the ones who are not strung out and still have a real life. We need to respect that separation. Do you need to know the name and home # of the local Wal Mart manager to shop there? If you have seen her, you already know all you need to know about her, along with her fake name and phone # that you obviously have. Both her reviews and her actions are outstanding. The best way to find out personal information like this for these girls is to 1st establish a relationship and build trust. After this happens, if they want you to know, they will tell you. That is their right to have some privacy and we should not take (or give) it away.
I am not her spokesperson in any way and it has been way too long since I last saw her because I don't live in the area and only occasionally pass through. If you have seen her, you know Jewls is a special girl (to me and a lot of others around here as well) and we like to look out for her.

I set up a visit with Baby Doll aka Little Bit, I've seen her 3 other times, went to the location and radio silence, waited and waited, but nothing. This was the second time she's done this, I hate that shit. I then whipped out my phone looking for a new pick.
