I know it comes up every note and then but has anybody actually tried Bodyworx? I've seen it mentioned a few times but never found a review. Figured I might give it a shot in a week or so to scout it out if nobody has tried it yet.

Finally got around to checking the new place, Elite Accupressure at 10240 Two Notch Road.
First, I did not like the parking situation at all: Very exposed to the main road and you would probably have to sit there at the exit for a good period of time to get out given how busy that section of Two Notch can get. Given I am currently driving a fairly distinctive car, I opted to park in the Target lot and hoof it over. This was hampered by unexpected ditches and fences, but whatever.
Place is just opened and still has that new-construction smell. Very clean, with full doors and walls that go all the way up to the ceiling.
My lady was attractive, probably 30's and had pretty good english.
There was a pair of asian shower-shoes under the chair in my room, but no robe and no indication that there was a shower in the place. Price was $70/ hour, and that produced a decent massage. It's a Chinese place, but I noted that I never did get the full Chinese "head straddle" when I was face down. The massage was light on oil, which is good by me, and there was some post-massage baby-powder which may be an issue if you're going home to someone. The post massage face-down light touches were pretty tame, though there was enough brushing to know what was coming up.
On the flip, I was asked to take care of my lady, but no sum was mentioned, and she went into a decent handjob after I said I would. The girls did not come out, and there was no inviting my touch, but she was OK with my feeling her butt and between her legs from behind as I got close.
It was an OK experience, but a bit generic. Given the location issues, I probably will not repeat unless I hear differently later.

TOFTT and tried King Spa across from Dunkin.
Nice layout inside and wide comfortable beds.
Only negative is the wide open entrance to Two Notch Rd frontage, but you could always park on the side.
Massage was nice and definitely left relaxed and my hour lasted about 50 min.
Very similar to Elite that's further down to include the little stuffed pillows they put individually under each ankle.
Except they didn't use the baby power like Elite.

On a whim, I had gone to Spring spa last weekend. Round chubby lady met me at the door with A little kid in tow. My legs were really sore so I actually was looking forward to a good massage. She put the kids in the room with them guessing someone else it led me to the table shower. It was a quick hose down and wipe off and then we are back in the room. I told her I really wanted her to work on my legs, but the vast majority of the massage, when she was actually in the room, was my upper back. Although the doorbell rang two or three times it seem she was out of the room a lot more than she was in it. Finally she had another customer took him to his room rolled me over and started asking about TIP. After a very rushed ending, she told me to knock a couple of dollars off. I would've been happy with just a decent massage, but overall is very negative experience.

The Providers have all changed. But that's just the way Nice runs. New Providers every month or two. The only one who doesn't change is the Mgr. But she's rarely there. She has figured out how to get good reliable Providers who take care of business following their guidelines.

First time going to an AMP today. Had a bad couple nights sleep due to a crick my neck and wanted to get it worked out a little. I was in the neighborhood and figured what the hell and went by Lotus, and door was locked and no one answered. Drove around back and the back door was propped open and the ME was outside so I talked to the MS (I assume) for a few. Nice enough lady. Asked if I could get an appointment and she told me, very apologetically, that they were closed but would be opening back up on Monday. I read a few reports down that they were seeing regulars, but being obviously someone she had never seen before, I totally understand. I guess I'll have to try back again next week. Since restrictions lifted I tried Royal on broad river. Half hour requested, lady says $80 for everything. Again requested half hr, used to be $60, again she said "$80 for everything". I got 20 min massage and offer of he for. 40, I declined, not to return! VIP on Bush River wearing my mask, lady said "why mask"? I replied trying to be safe. Got so much hassle, I just left. If you're worried about Rona, VIP is definitely off limits. Tried Seoul further up Bush. Older lady was nice. Massages 15 minutes and asked. 40 for HE. I declined and finished half hour with disappointing massage. I'll stick to Charlotte AMPs if I ever go at all.

There seem to be more Chinese massage parlors opening in recent years, and they have some big differences from the Korean places. If you're not good with guessing ethnicity (I'm not), you can tell a Chinese place by these signs:
1) They have a arm-waving electric cat statue in the lobby. I don't know if these are "good luck" or what, but you often seem them.
2) They have a dish of green foil wrapped guava candies on the lobby counter. (These are really good BTW).
3) You see a man visible in the lobby, or even running the desk. I've never seen a "papa-san" in a Korean place.
4) They have anatomical diagrams posted showing massage pressure points.
Why this is important is that unless the place is straight-up advertising as a "sex place", you are much less likely to get any type of sexual service at a Chinese AMP. That's not to say that the girls have any cultural moral objection to it vs the Koreans, but that's not the business they see themselves in, and you will get service only if you are well established as a regular, and a girl likes you.
That's not to say you may not get a good deal of tease without release. There seems to be an unspoken theory by the girls that as long as they don't grab your dick, nothing happened: Touching it with the top of the hand is ok, touching it with the palm is not.
As for differences in the actual massage, I have noted the signature Chinese move is for the girl to climb up on the head of the table facing your feet and straddle your head while you are face down, bending forward to massage your back and butt. 1) Depending on how the place works, you may first talk to the mama-san thorugh a window. This is generally an older lady, but usually she will *not* be the one giving you services. Finally got to go by this place in Irmo and check things out over the weekend. Very quiet place but no private parking, dodge the Dominos delivery drivers and park on the other end of the lot. Very tiny, soft spoken gal met at the door, she was also the provider. Weak english but used a phone app to negotiate the menu. Said there is a shower but didn't opt for that this trip, did the standard 60 minutes. As far contacting them, show up, walk inside, and ring the doorbell. Then follow Spaceman Spiffs advice. As far as finding them, this forum is full of reports on them. Pick the one you like.
Here are some tips I wrote here several years ago:
1) Depending on how the place works, you may first talk to the mama-san thorugh a window. This is generally an older lady, but usually she will *not* be the one giving you services. It *is* important though that she have a good opinion of you. In other places, you may be greeted when the door opens by the girl giving you services -- generally you will *not* get a "line-up", though if you have been there before, you can request a specific favorite girl at this point.
2) The girl / mamasan will lead you to a cubicle with a homeade cot and take the "house fee" (usally $60-$80). You will usually be asked if you want a shower here. Say 'yes'. The girl will leave and you should undress at this point.
3) If you saw the mamasan before, you will next be visited by your "real" girl (If the mamasan did not take you to the cubicle, the girl who took you there is your "real" girl). You should be waiting sitting on the cot, naked. You should *not* cover yourself with a towel while waiting. Being naked means that you are OK with naked interaction and is your first "test". Your girl will wrap a towel around you and take you to the table shower room. Do not worry about your wallet and keys: access to these places is controlled, and the girls are invariably honest about your property (they may try to extract cash from you by making you think with the wrong head, but that's another story). (Some places may give you a waterproof 'purse' to carry your important items to the shower with you -- that's OK too).

I know there is an Alaina that does massage in w Columbia area. But I believe there was at one time a different person going by either Alana or Alaina. Is anyone else aware of this? The one I am referring to I believe does massage out by the lake somewhere. I was just trying to see if she was completely legit.
