Killing a child should be a capital offense.Not sure what she did to upset him, but no one deserves this. I only saw her once, and she seemed pretty nice, particularly compared to Tabby. I thought there was something really familiar about her when I first saw the news report about the murder, then I remembered who she was. I think she was out of the business (at least for the most part) and working at Starbucks or something like that. I haven't followed the case, but have to think there's a pretty good chance the guy gets the death penalty.

There is another local article that gives the USASG handle of the arrested individual. It is one that you would recognize as a frequent and long-time poster in the Cincinnati threads.
The public post made by LE was directed at another member, but it would appear that our arrested party reached out to LE via PM to get more info. It is sad that things spiraled downward from there moving from young spinner to underage.

WOW!! 30 years.It would be wise for guys using the board to check out the posting activity of one Smoke77, who seems to be the one who was passing along info to CletusTheLocal that ended up with him in a federal prison. He's gotten a member designation I don't recall seeing on USASG before LOL. But it's also interesting to note that he was a lot more sophisticated than we sometimes give LEO operatives credit for on these boards. He had like 22 posts from March to June, but started out with the "long time listener, first time caller" ruse. He clearly had been listening, because he came across as believable. He wasn't making such overt offers that you'd be suspicious of a trap in his public posts. We sometimes think that LEO won't post reviews. But he did (I suspect they weren't real -- but then, who knows? There's nothing in the rulebook that says they can't perpetrate crimes in the course of undercover investigations, I don't think.) One of them was for a really great experience with a Wichita SW who he allegedly paid $200. While that should have seemed ridiculous, he made it seem not so by describing it as one of his five best experiences ever.
He must have kept his discussions about an underage provider either in the PMs or in voice conversations he arranged leading from them. Lesson here is not to ever let your guard down I guess. Other obvious lesson is to not continue any discussion when you've been led to believe a minor is involved. If he was going along with things on that belief -- and it's hard to see why a guy from Oxford travels to a shopping center in Kansas City to meet some third party just to meet a perfectly legal spinner that could be found much more easily closer to home -- then he probably has it coming. It seems unlikely the feds are going to go to these lengths for charges that don't involve minors or coercion or drugs or something. But who knows. Keep in mind that we cross state lines all the time in this region, so that puts us in fed crosshairs much more easily.
It's worth noting that there's nothing in CletusTheLocal's public posting history that even begins to suggest he was ever looking for anyone underage. This seems to have been a fishing expedition that started with Smoke77's discussion of an experience with a spinner.

Yes. Scup knows. It was Southport 8, not SouthPoint. And as I recall, the name was spelled Kandi. I wasn't directly involved but one good friend was among the 8 and another friend was involved in the bail out process. The hobby has sucked in Indy ever since. Therefore I've burned a path on I-74 between Indy and Cincy in recent years. As for the recent incident, I think I've read every post about it, and I still can't figure out just what the hell happened. Everybody has a different story.

I am perfectly willing to settle with less attractive women just to avoid the possibility of personal records becoming available to LEO especially since most agencies require more personal information than a provider would ever ask for.

I've been a member of P411 for several years, this is the #1 verification site as far as I'm aware. I have several okays (20, and counting) and while I use agencies, if they don't accept this as verification I don't use them. I NEVER give personal information, PERIOD. This is my biggest fear: An agencies' office gets raided and there is all my personal info. While I respect that these agencies want to know who they're introducing their providers to, we've agreeably agreed not to do business. I understand this has cost me the chance to see some wonderful providers, that's just how it is as I have a family and a business and I'm not interested in loosing either or both.

And while I don't generally buy the "trafficking" thing used by folks who want to eliminate sex-for-hire, I do always have my doubts about girls who come in from Eastern Europe, Asia, South America, etc. Being in control of what they're doing, especially if they don't speak English well, so I stay away. I don't know anything about XO. I do know Boone County recently was holding a couple of attractive young East European women who were put there by ICE operating out of Chicago. Could be totally unrelated, but they stuck out as unusual in the mugshot lineup. I wasn't aware at the time of many Russian women working out of Cincinnati, but if they are, well, they'll be under watch. I am also very hesitant to give ANYONE my personal information, and will tend to steer clear of that verification method.

Be safe and be wary JJ.The very first time I contacted Steve / EE, he didn't ask any of that. I simply sent a text with my screen handle, and sent a board PM verifying that it was really my handle. After that, all he needed to know who it was I wanted to see (the long gone, but not forgotten, Jenavecia). Of course, at the time I was already an established poster with a number of reviews under my belt. I was not an unknown so the risk level of seeing me was very very low.
Some providers / agencies will NOT see newbies at all. I don't know if you feel lucky or not that he offered another way of verifying that you're not a danger to the girls who trust him to book their appointments, but safety is the name of the game.

The very first time I contacted Steve / EE, he didn't ask any of that. I simply sent a text with my screen handle, and sent a board PM verifying that it was really my handle. After that, all he needed to know who it was I wanted to see (the long gone, but not forgotten, Jenavecia). Of course, at the time I was already an established poster with a number of reviews under my belt. I was not an unknown so the risk level of seeing me was very very low.
Some providers / agencies will NOT see newbies at all. I don't know if you feel lucky or not that he offered another way of verifying that you're not a danger to the girls who trust him to book their appointments, but safety is the name of the game.Can't remember what I used for references (think it was a couple of girls) but definitely didn't get asked for pay stubs. Using the current socially accepted description, Buddha and Steve were / are human traffickers, not just pimps.

I would like to think that the providers whom I see are acting freely, but I don't really know.

I noticed the headline last night when I was shopping -- I had turned off the internet and the TV a little bit earlier in the day because I was tired of hearing about politics -- so, I picked up a copy and read it when I got home last night.

So they get a choice get snagged or work it off by helping bust the bigger fish. They then get to keep their snag off their official record.
There was one such senior member here who ironically has only one post in the last 18 months who got pulled over leaving an appointment and was given the choice to help out or get charged with something bullshit (can't remember). So that person agreed to help, was given a cell phone that stayed on and recorded the next few sessions with that same provider to be used as evidence against her. She had a pretty good lawyer who worked the system well and through discovery requests found out the identities real and here of the person.

I felt I had to chime in here. I believe that although A2 is completely right, legalization will not happen in the majority of the country for several reasons. First, women use availability of sex to control their husbands. If a married guy wants to get laid, he often must cater to his wifes whims. That being said, women will and do raise hell anytime a politician wants to decriminalize or legalize sex. And they are 50% of the voters. Next, the churches, although their influence is lessening due to increasing education of people to baloney fables they are based on, (no offense to you believers out there), will fight such efforts tooth and nail. The reason for that is that religions use access to sex to control their believers, I. E. , if you want to have sex, and you don't want it to be a "sin," then you must be married. And if you want to be married then you must be a member. And to be a member you have to share our beliefs. And on it goes. The whole thing is you can't have sex if you're not conforming with our requirements. And the churches still have considerable (and I might add unconstitutional, in my opinion) influence over the politicians. Especially in the more rurl areas.

Names and photos would be purged from the registry after five years.
Reps. Jena Powell, are-Arcanum; Rick Carfagna, are-Genoa Township, and Cindy Abrams, are-Harrison, will introduce companion legislation in the House.
One bill would increase criminal penalties for repeat soliciting offenses and another would create a new crime targeting pimps: knowingly receiving financial proceeds for sex acts committed by prostitutes.
The buying and selling of sex would be separated as crimes, with those convicted of soliciting prostitutes facing a mandatory 30-day jail sentence for a second offense and a mandatory 60-day sentence for third and subsequent convictions. Most men who purchase sex seldom do much jail time, the state officials said. The crime would remain a first-degree misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of six months in jail.

The bill also would require offenders to pay for and receive "john school," a type of counseling, Yost said.
A new offense of procuring money tied to prostitution will be sought in a bid to help make it easier to prosecute those who promote or compel prostitution. The first offense would be a first-degree misdemeanor, with a second conviction a fourth-degree felony punishable by up to 18 months in prison and a third offense a third-degree felony carrying up to three years in prison.

There are 11 Springfields in Ohio, including one in Summit county which is where Akron is located. Given the other participating agencies are from Summit and Cuyahoga counties and the anchor from the video is from Cleveland and references that the sting took place in Summit county, I'd say it's a safe bet this has nothing to do with the Cincy area Springfield.
