Thought I'd make one last attempt to contact Susan last night and she responded this morning. We set a time for later that night, then she sent me her address and said "see you then". So I drive out there and arrive exactly on time, and guess what, no one answered the door. I called, she didn't answer. I even texted saying that since I'm already here I'll pay extra if she sees me. No reply. I can't be sure but I thought I heard someone moving around inside too. I sent one final text saying it was rude of her to not give notice of canceling. What a horrible way to treat your clients.I saw Susan last Friday, and it was business as usual, with excellent service. It was a repeat visit, and I know she has my number stored. This was after texting Thursday afternoon. She has never canceled on me.
That's what she does now. She has kind of freaked out since her ex has been stalking her. It's a little bit dangerous at her place right now with him spying on her. I'd be very careful going over there. She has stood a number of people up over the last 6 weeks. My feeling is that he shows up and she is stuck. Can't use her phone while he is there. After a couple of months and four different cancellations (3 on her, 1 on me), I finally was able to make and keep an appointment with Susan. And I'm quite glad that I didn't give up on her!

BUT, in my experience, most of the ads I have tried to answer in CL are either scammers phishing for photos, or phone numbers or pics for some kinda freakin scam. I have been able to contact a couple of real women through, and they all usually turn out to have the gold plated pu $$why thing goin on. Soo. I usually do keep to the sluts I have known for years and have dealt with before. They know me and I know them. Done deal. .
Don't get me wrong, Cragislist has been a godsend over the advertising expenses I used to pay for advertising in the Post Dispatch, Surburban Journals, and thrifty Nickel. CL and the internet in general has opened up a new venue for every scam artist and thief in the world to sucker people with forged money orders, and fake goods. It has also made it so any fag on the planet can post a pic of his sister and ask for all kinds of personal information (that we gladly provide) that they can use to rip you or someone else off.
I ran into a girl once that I had met before at a buddys house (not from CL but was from the Woodson stroll), and she tells me she needs a place to stay for a few days, and asks if she can stay with me for a little while. Thinking with the wrong head, I say yes. I had a good time that evening, went to sleep. BUT, I had gone to sleep and left my keys and wallet laying out (rather than in a safe or under my pillow). My truck was gone WITH all my tools and laptop in it, and left me stranded. I kept hoping she would bring it back 1 day. 2 days. NO truck. I finally called St. Louis County Police and reported it stolen. Thank god the police did get it back since she was apparently driving by my house (checking for police cars?) and saw the cops there so she abndoned it up the and left the keys in the ignition with it running. What a mess. All over trusting someone enough to let them into my life & home.
There are more examples of stupid crap like that suck as the 23 year old Heroin addict that I got off CL. Naturally, they don't walk in and announce they are a drug addict, and to lock up your stuff.
Never leave your keys or wallet laying out. Sleep with them under your pillow. Trust NO ONE.
Never leave your wallet, checkbook bank statement, birth certificate, etc, etc, laying around.
I had one that had stolen a check (from the middle of some guys check book) then filled it out and told me she sold some fur coat but couldn't cash it since she lost her I'd.
I had no idea there were so many dishonest people in this world, and I was brought up to have morals and values. None of which I see used much anymore.

Had me go to alley behide house but I informed her that I was armed and she about freaked. LOL. Told her it would stay in pocket unless there was trouble, needless to say everything was cool. I've had alot better luck posting my own ad and letting them respond to me. Won't get as many responses that the providers get but normally the ones you do get are serious about meeting up. Delete any response that tries to send you to a web sight or wants you to email them directly right away. Email through see / l until you both become satisfied that it is legit and email direct or text. In the last week I've met five prividers that I wouldn't mind seeing again and the compensation is no where to the BP rates. A plus is alot of them will allow you to be more specfic of what you desire and what's off limits before meeting up. I don't meet that many in a year, let alone in one week. I'm getting too old for this anymore but what a way to go out before retiring from this hobby. The better your post title the quicker their responses will be. The other day I posted a warning about an incident that happened. I have since ask the admins to delete the post. With the post and help of fellow friends here, I was able to get in contact with the girl that actually lives at this address. Those that know her, know who I mean. Anyhow, she was extremely mad that her friend chose to do a major wrong, and she was very apologetic, swore she had nothing to do with it, which now I totally 100% believe. She got back to me and made things right.
So, I definitely can say this girl at this address is legit, and honest, and went above and beyond to make things right with her friend. Total sweetheart about the situation.

I waited until morning to text her back stating that I need the exact time she was at Walmart so security could view video surveillance because nothing was reported to the head of security about any incident like that the pevious evening. Which I never contacted anyone, I was calling her bluff. No response from her. Two hours later I text again stating that her and I have to meet at Walmart with the head of security and it has to be before 3:30 so they can get to the bottom of this. Still no reply. Then I text again about an hour later stating that we were going to involve the police in this matter so we can dissolve this dispute. Immediately I receive a text back from her stating that Walmart called her and offered a gift certificate to her for the confusion, (ha ha). Then she proceeds to tell me that she was very impressed how I handled the situation and would like to see me again. Sure, I'm always up for some more drama bullshit. Anyway, pm me for the girls name, location, and phone number so that we can all avoid this BULLSHIT. To the members that I promised some info to, I'm just now getting back into this from being ill, and I am contacting the good ones to see if it"s ok to give out there info. I reviewed him, over half his content in his last 50 posts were quoting other members and then posting some stupid wise ass bullshit. This is no loss.
Before we started doing this, the membership had kind of stagnated at around 250,000. Since then it's exploded and we are almost at 400,000. Not having an environment where a few seniors "run" cities is good for the forum. It brings in new membership, those guys learn how to post, with more membership comes more girls trying to get their message in front of you, comes more guests (yes I know you guys generally hate lurkers but the advertisers love them and those guys actually pay the bills) comes higher stats which means better prices for the ads which means more money to improve the forum. As well as more money in my pocket which means more pussy for me which means a happier mod who is less likely to throw lightning bolts.
Anyway, for the 100th time. St Louis has a fight thread I suggest some of you guys learn to use it. I hope Stlffej will be the only casualty of this process but I suspect he wont.

Another thing, with 400,000 members there is something for everybody. Some guys come here for spank material, they have no intention of ever banging a hooker. Some guys get off posting their experiences. It's a little afield of the purpose of the forum but you will never strain your fucking finger scrolling past a post you don't like.
The process is simple, if you see a post you don't like skip it, if the person who posted it is somebody who posts a lot of shit you don't like, add them to your ignore list. If the post violates our guidelines or you think it's a chick or a shill, then report the post before you ignore them.
