Is there anybody special to ask for at lotus or all provide same service?No, every employee knows what's expected.

I was at the AMP in Hartford a few days ago. It was open. No problems. Still the basic menu, but still decent massage with a better than average ending. They should change the name to Yellowstone Spa. Because they have Old Faithful there. Not the flashiest and not necessarily the best, but steady and reliable. (I was going to say she's like a Glock, but I didn't want to start a Glock lovers vs. Glock haters debate). Know what to expect going in, don't set those expectations too high, and a fun time can be had.

Nothing has changed including the "velvet touch". I'd save your money and go to lotus for the similar results. My ears are open for a better description of the girl and your experience.

I have to say, I like the parking. They have nice, discreet parking. But that was pretty much the highlight of the trip. Thankfully I didn't see any racoons. I did spot a water and food bowl in the hallway, which in any other setting I would've assumed were for a cat. But my guess is, they were for the racoon (s? Thankfully, no wildlife appeared on the premises while I was there. Mamasan was old and not much to look at, but hey, it's Mamasan, so no worries. She's not the one giving the massage, right? Well, then the provider came in and she was only maybe a couple of years younger than Mamasan and only slightly more attractive. Due to this, I decided against FS and just asked for BJ. And, it was CBJ, much to my disappointment. Regrettably, this seems to be more and more common. I insist on CFS whenever I indulge in FS, but I've never been able to enjoy CBJ much. JJ / Jimmy.I agree with JJ about BC. I recently made my first trip to BC and therefore my first trip to see Sandy at Happy Spa. She was worth the drive. I usually indulge in the hobby in GR and sometimes pass through Kalamazoo. I've resigned myself that the best option in Kalamazoo is a massage with HE at Lotus (see my previous post about an ill-advised trip to TLC). But obviously there are times when more is desired and I've found a few places in GR that scratch that itch (though one of the best is reportedly closing soon!) But variety is the spice of life. So I made the trip to BC to see Sandy. Horrible road construction, but wonderful experience with Sandy. I'm glad I went. Highly recommend. --RJ.

Pre Covid you could get drop dead gorgeous 25 year olds for two bills. GPS has arrived and most are now seeking 300+ and hour. Unfortunately there are plenty will to pay that which keeps prices high. The positive is the ladies are trim and gorgeous.
I spend 3 months here during the summer avoiding the 100+ degree days. Over the part to years I've tried:
1) AMP DIY on stadium drive. Probably won't return.
2) Lotus. Fine for a mechanical hand job, but nothing to right home about.
3) TLC. Saw no raccoons and had a great time, but probably over tipped.
4) Jay. Before she retired. Not really my cup of tea, but got the job done (older than I imagined.

JJ / Jimmy.I know, I know JJ. You are 100% right. I've been through BC for the past handful of years, and seen them all (except Sandy). Last time at Happy I could tell the years have been affecting Connie, it just wasn't the same as the old days. And I believe I heard Sandy is in her 60's (still in my 40's) so that has mentally prevented me from seeing her. I just need so much more time to make the drive to BC, I don't always have that 3 hour window. If the massage was really great, she's really great, and it was something you were looking for in and of itself, I'd add $5. If the massage / massage experience really sucked and she was just looking for money for a straight up massage? More like $15, $20 respectively.

BC has good, virtually guaranteed options (see previous posts on this forum and BC massage forum by Jimmy / JJ Let's Play for good, accurate, up-to-date reports of things in BC). The return-on-investment at the BC establishments is hard to beat. Or, if you're willing to spend more and / or want something other than Asian providers, head to GR. If you're limited to Kzoo then IMO Lotus is the best option unless you just happen to enjoy paying money to jerk off with someone else in the room. But if you actually want a woman to do it for you, then I think Lotus is your best bet in Kalamazoo. There's TLC where you can get more, but that may also include rabies and / or turning you off from sex for a while (I didn't listen to the warnings and had to find out for myself the hard way). There's also Asia Spa in Hartford, where a very nice somewhat older Asian lady will give you a very similar experience to Lotus. But unless you just happen to be in Hartford, it's not really worth the drive. If you just really like a challenge, there's Sophie's in South Haven. Disappointed, but not surprised. Maybe they'll expand. I wouldn't necessarily expect St. Joe to have such a place. But it does bug me when they place such ads on STG and then don't even deliver the standard AMP finish we've come to expect. I mean, we all know the Asian hotties in the ads aren't actually going to be at any of the AMPs we go to, but they could at least deliver the goods that they're known for.
Speaking of an AMP that actually does deliver, I stopped by Lotus recently. Trying to start the new year off right. I know they're not the most exciting place in the world and I go in not expecting more than a semi-decent rub with a fairly decent HE finish. But I try to support them on a semi-regular basis if for no other reason that to have at least one reliable place in Kalamazoo that isn't trying to push DIY on us. The parking lot was fuller than anticipated, but I think most were there for the other nearby businesses. I was told to "have a seat" when I went in. That's never happened before. The very first time I went, they told me to come back in 15 minutes, which I did and was rewarded for it. Every other time, I've been able to walk in and be taken to a room (I make appointments at some places, but have always done walk-ins at Lotus). So I sat down and the chairs are right by the entrance / exit. I thought maybe they were just changing the sheets or something, but another monger was leaving and walked right past me, which was unavoidable based on where I'd been instructed to sit. I tried to do what I could to honor the monger code, so I looked down and didn't make eye contact, but that did sort of surprise me. I guess in hindsight I could've told them I'd come back in a few minutes or gone and waited in my vehicle, but as I said, I thought they just needed to tidy up and wasn't expecting a face-to-face with another monger. Anyway, I saw CeCe (or CeeCee? Who I've seen a few times before. She's reasonably attractive, does a nice rub and decent finish IMO. I was hoping maybe YoYo would be available since she's new and I'm curious, but as I said, I didn't have an appointment, so I just went with it. I knew CeCe would get the job done in an enjoyable manner. I didn't mention anything about YoYo to CeCe, but when we were done and I was getting dressed, CeCe told me that I should try the new girl YoYo. She said she's very good (of course, she'd say that, but I was pleased to hear her recommend another provider there. In some MPs, there can be quite a spirit of competition between the ladies). I did hhr for 50 and tipped 70. I try to match door fee and then do a little bit better if service was exceptional or if it's a provider I've seen multiple times and / or plan to see again. So, nothing new and terribly exciting, but a good, standard, Lotus experience.
BTW, not sure how many of you guys read the GR forums (several of us I imagine), but we have guys on the Kzoo boards here complaining some of us share too many details and there's an ongoing debate on the GR boards about reviews that some feel don't have enough details and are "vague" and "generic. " Further evidence that we're all different and benefit from the variety of tastes, preferences, and reviews on these boards. --RJ.

Lotus- hands down the most consistent option kalamazoo has had in ten years. With no hyperbole I have been there 50 times. I would assume I have seen every piece of talent that place has had. If I missed one it's someone who was there for a week. What to expect an Asian lady in here mid 40's to early 60's who will give you a slightly above average massage.
Light tease and a ok handshake that will range from a jackhammer to a 8 out of 10 Sensual tugger with a few above and below that score for my career. You can get most of them to pull a saggy knocker or a booty cheek put but that's about it and all you would want anyways. Saw one girl there in this time that I would say was hot. She was in her mid to late 20's which is hard to tell in this game LOL. Maybe on CL then too, but like about three years ago. She even had her own website for a while that she would link in her ad if I remember correctly. Anyway, her website used to advertise massage and cuddling services, but said enough that you knew a HE was included. That's just the impression I remember having from reading her ad and checking out her website, but it's been a while so I could be wrong. I've been going to Lotus for years. Recently I had the worst experience ever. I have been around long enough that I know YMMV. My visit sucked plain and simple. Worst experience there ever. Called ahead, arrived when they asked me to, was greeted and paid the door fee. Shown the room, got ready and laid down. Jessica comes in speaking her native language loudly like arguing loud. Asks how hard I want massage. Begins roughly, not hard, but rough like she's taking out frustration on me. I ask her to soften her technique. She does for a few minutes then starts talking through the walls to another employee. A few minutes later she leaves the room and has a 5 minute argument with that employee. She comes back in and continues the massage and the argument through the walls. She leaves again to get a hot towel comes back and says time is up. I had a WTF moment, got up, got dressed. She's standing there and asks for a tip. I said "no your service sucked" and walked out.
It sucks that this is the best we have in kzo.

Hope this helps.A reasonable suggestion that I'll adopt. I'm not disagreeing with your suggested but I've had slightly different experiences so let me add a few complications, in hopes that any future AMP customers will benefit.
1. In many AMPs, the woman who greets you at the door is clearly the mamasan, much older and not dressed in a sexy outfit. That was not the case in this visit to Sunshine.
2. I've also been to AMPs where the greeter is young and dressed attractively. In most but not all cases (reference Sunshine), the greeter also provided the massage. In a few other cases, the greeter has pretty good English skills and told me that a different person would be with me soon for the massage. This would be a good model for Sunshine to adopt.
3. After paying the house fee, I typically undress and lie face down on the table. This is not always a good posture for scrutinizing the person who comes in to the room and starts the massage. At Sunsine, I'll adopt a different strategy and stay seated so that I can more easily see who enters the room.
4. In my experience, many of the masseuses have limited English skills so simply telling them that you'd prefer a different masseuse maybe be confusing as a result of the language barrier.
My constructive take home point. Before paying, I'll start asking who my masseuse will be and decide if I'll pay and partake of a massage based on the masseuse. This applies to Sunshine as well as other AMPs.

I've had two AMP experiences recently, neither directly in Kalamazoo, but neither in a locale with a dedicated forum, so this is probably the best place to report. I have gone to Sophie's Asian Massage in South Haven a few times over the last few years. I went there once when I was pretty darn new to the hobby. That first trip I was massaged by Sophie herself. She's a talented masseuse and a reasonably attractive Asian woman, like many probably older than she looks. She is friendly and pleasant and knows how to flirt and even tease a bit. This place literally screams "typical AMP experience. " There's a section on their website where it talks about it being "bodywork" rather than massage. They're open late, often a good sign that it's a rub and tug joint. In their ads on CL they emphasize, "new, young, pretty girls working here", etc. So, I thought I was in the right place when I went the first time. About the only things missing to seal the deal were a table shower. And the actual happy ending. Sophie knew what I wanted and we even had some friendly conversation about it, but it was no go. I thought perhaps I was just too green and inexperienced and maybe she was hesitant since I was a new customer. So, I saw Sophie again and had a similar experience. I waited a while and went back and got a different provider and she knew the deal. She pointed to junior, and made some gestures. I nodded and we were off to the races. But she made sure to tell me to be quiet. I got the picture. Others provided it, but Sophie herself wasn't on board with them doing so. I went back and saw a different girl. She didn't offer, but Sophie was lurking close by, even entering the massage room during my massage to check how things were going since she said that provider was new. So that trip I also got a good massage, but no fun. A guy even called the place while I was there and apparently asked Sophie on the phone if they did HEs because she gave him a good reaming out over the phone. So, I thought as long as I could catch them while Sophie wasn't lurking too much and as long as I didn't get her as the provider, I'd get extras. I went back twice more. I'd wanted to see the girl that I'd had before when Sophie came into the room to see if she might open up some, but she was gone. I saw an older but attractive provider that I hadn't seen before. Sophie was there, but this provider yelled out to Sophie in Chinese a few times. I figured out she was doing this to gauge if Sophie was lurking or stationary in the building. So, she gave a good HE and just did the finger over the lips to let me know to be quiet. I had gotten into the habit of texting them ahead and asking who was working in order to avoid getting Sophie as my provider, so about a month after that I texted and it turned out Sophie was out of town and the same provider I'd seen on my previous visit was running the show that night. I went late and had a great time. Still just a HE, but no worries about a lurking Mamasan. Then I didn't go back for over 2 years. Nothing personal, just my travels didn't take me through the area and I had found more reliable opportunities in other places. Recently I was going to be passing through South Haven and thought I'd roll the dice. I texted and was told three girls were working and none mentioned were Sophie herself. I wasn't familiar with any of the three names given, so I told them when I'd be there and that any of those three would be fine. I went and saw Linda, a young, pretty, thin provider. She gave a good massage and seemed to be a very sweet lady. She didn't mind a bit of gentle roaming, but other than the slightest of grazes against the boys, there really was no teasing. On the flip. She provided a good massage to my feet and legs. I even tried letting the towel gently slide off when she was on the upper leg, but she gently put it back in place. Sophie was on the premises, so I don't know how much of a difference that made. Linda seemed to know what I was after and didn't act offended, but didn't play ball (or play with the balls for that matter). I'd love to have the experience of another massage by Linda when Sophie wasn't there just to see if it made a difference, but I doubt I'll go to the effort and expense of testing the waters at Sophie's again. I gave her a nice tip for the massage, but nowhere near matching the door fee (I did an hour just to give her extra time to get comfortable with me. Rates were $70 for hr or $45 for hhr.).
My better recent experience was at Ocean Spa in Niles. It's a converted house and the parking isn't great, just a driveway basically. There is lettering on the door with the name of the business, but you can't see it from the road. They did have one of those "massage" flag things in the front yard. There were two other vehicles there and I almost didn't stop because I doubted they'd have 3 providers working. But I figured they'd have 2 working based on the size of the building and I'd driven a long way so I decided to stop. I had to be in the area for other reasons, but decided to check it out while I was there. I went to the door and rang the bell per instructions on the door. I was greeted by an attractive Asian lady who asked me to have a seat. The living room was converted into a waiting area. She asked me how long I wanted and collected the door fee. I asked her how long of a wait. She told me 10 minutes, which I figured was optimistic. It wound up being about 15 minutes. From what I could tell she was the only one working so that was a bummer, but she was nice looking, so I thought it was worth the wait. Another downside was that when the other monger was done he had to walk through the same waiting area. I heard him coming and looked down at my shoes and he didn't linger, so it wasn't awkward, but the set up could be better. After the provider cleaned herself and the room up a bit, she escorted me back. I did hhr and door fee was typical. She said her name was Li-li or something similar. She was one of the better looking AMP providers I've seen. She had a bit of meat on her, but was fit and not fat. She had a nice tattoo going up one thigh. She was wearing cut off shorts and a snug t-shirt. She gave a good massage and on the flip we discussed extras. She got comfortable and gave me the best CBJ I've ever had. I'm still not a fan of CBJs, but they're growing on me and this one was the best of the bunch I've had so far. Tip was on par with other similar experiences. I'm rarely in or near Niles, but will stop in again if I find myself close by. --RJ.

I stopped into Sunshine to check it out. I got the chubby girl with the big rack. (I assume the other girl looks different, this is the only girl I saw).

It's apparently in a building right on Niles Ave. In St. Joe, a building that is shared by the Berrien County Democrats and a counseling office of some kind I think. Anyway, the most prominent sign on Niles Ave. Is for the Democrats. There are two doors facing Niles Ave. , one with numbers on it that seems to be the main entrance to the building. I assumed this went to the Democrats office. There are other doors on the side of the building, less conspicuous doors, so I thought the AMP would be found behind one of these. However, I was wrong. The door with the numbers on it, what I thought of as the main door, matches the address given on Google for the AMP. The doors on the side are apparently how you enter the Democrats office and the counseling place. But there is no signage anywhere for the AMP. There is a door on the back of the building that would seem to line up with the part of the building with the address to the AMP, but there was no signage on that door either, nor did it looked like it was used regularly. After making a couple of strolls around the building and being concerned I would attract unwanted attention (the Democrats office was closed, but there was one care parked on the side of the building and lots of traffic going by), I decided to casually walk up the sidewalk to the main door on Niles Ave and give it a knock. There was no doorbell, so I gave it a few good knocks. Nothing. Then again, louder. Still nothing. There's a large window beside that door and the blinds were open. And from what I could see, the place looked empty. However, I could only see the front room of the office, so there may have been activity behind a closed door. Still, it was a disappointing and unfruitful trip. I anticipated writing this review and reporting on at least a massage and then stating whether any fun was had after the flip. But in my case at least, there was no fun, no flip, and not even a massage. So, if anyone has been recently and knows the "secret handshake" or whatever I should have done to have determined where this place is and how to gain entrance, please let me know. I'll likely be back in St. Joe in a month or two and may feel adventurous that day if there's anything there to investigate. TIA--RJ.

I thought it must've no longer been there, but they still have a functioning website so that made me wonder. Well, I was surprised that an AMP even opened in St. Joe. I made a return visit to Ocean Spa in Niles within the last few days. I was first there back in June at night and saw a provider named Li-li or something similar and got, what I believe I referred to as the best CBJ I'd ever gotten. This more recent visit wasn't quite that nice, but still a lot of fun. It was an afternoon visit. There were two ladies working there, neither of them the provider I'd seen before. One who answered the door was attractive. Not stunning, but fit and fairly young, especially by AMP standards. She asked me how long I wanted and told me to take a seat. I asked about the wait and she yelled something in another language, presumably Chinese, to another provider and then told me "5 minutes. " I assumed this was off by 10 minutes or so, but the wait wasn't very long. Just as on my first visit, I was seated in the waiting area as another monger exited, but just like before, I stared at my shoes as he left and, as far as I know, he didn't even glance in my direction, so no big deal. The building is a converted house with a driveway on the side, so not a lot of parking area. There was more signage than before. When I went before, the only indication this was anything other than just a house was one of those stick in the ground "massage" banners out front. That banner is still there, but there was also a colorful sign. I can't help but wonder if this is because one of the things that was used against Milan when she and her place (Just Divine) got busted in GR recently was that the lack of signage and general lack of appearance of a legit business was a red flag. Anyway, who knows, but just a heads not--not as inconspicuous as it was when I was there before. I was soon greeted by an attractive, but very petite, young provider who said her name was Yumiko. This piqued my interest because as far as I know, Yumiko is a Japanese name. However, the fact that she spoke to the other provider in, what I believe to be, Chinese and after the fun she offered me "Chinese candy" makes me think that maybe she just chose a Japanese name. I wasn't really there to do a course on Asian studies, but just an interesting detail. Anyway, Yumiko was fun and playful. I did 30 minutes and she gave a pretty decent massage. I just grinned and laid back and let her begin. I would've preferred some clothing come off, but not enough to tip her 100. I explained that there was a woman watching the place, and she called her boss and had me relay the situation to her. After I did so, we looked out the door again and saw the woman pull out of her parking space and exit. She did a tight you-turn into the next driveway and pulled up to the garage of the house. So this woman was the next-door neighbor of the business. I told Allison I did not feel comfortable going ahead with the appointment and said I would try again some other time. She understood and agreed with me that that was best. I tried to post this account the next day, Friday, but the website froze and my submission evidently did not go through. Hopefully it will this time.

Good to hear that the spa was open on Thursday. The "massage" sign was not illuminated in the front window and the parking lot was empty when I drove by so I assumed that it was closed.

Saw a post recently about this place. Happened to see it when I was as at Best Buy on Westnedge so decided to give it a go. I was really in the mood for a good massage, so if extras were available, bonus.
No bonus. Knew very early. No door to room, just a curtain. No cash accepted in room. Suggested $10 & $20 tip notice for HHR & HR. Very solid massage, but not even a tease.

I noticed that the "massage" sign was aglow on a recent afternoon and stopped to see if Allison was working. Lisa, a middle aged woman, answered the door and confirmed that Allison was not working at this particular time.
Nevertheless, I opted for a half hour massage with Lisa. The massage was quite good and I went home happy. Lisa was certainly good but Allison is much more attractive.

I drove by Moon Spa on Monday around 4:30-5:00 in the afternoon and there were 4-5 cars in the parking lot. I think there's an insurance agency or some other business there too, but I figured the traffic was for Moon. With that many cars in the lot, I decided to pass. I'll try another day. Later that same day I went to Lotus (probably around 7 PM). YoYo and Sophia were working. YoYo greeted me and asked if I had an appointment. I said no, just a walk-in. She looked perplexed for a moment and said something in Chinese. Sophia was in the room with a client, but stuck her head out to answer YoYo (that's how I knew Sophia was the other one there). Then after they chatted a minute, YoYo said, "OK Honey" and ushered me into a room. She asked how long. I was thinking of doing an hour since I had some time, but given that it seemed like scheduling may have been tight, I opted for 30 minutes, which is my standard time at Lotus anyway. YoYo got the job done, but was clearly rushed. She actually spent the normal amount of time on the massage part, which is where I would've preferred she rushed, if rushing were going to happen. She and Sophia yelled conversation in Chinese through the wall a few times. Then the doorbell chimed and I think Sophia greeted the guy (pretty sure she was done with her customer by then) and put him in a room. Then she and YoYo yelled back and forth some more. On the flip, YoYo was clearly rushing. Like I said, she got the job done, but as soon as I was done, she wiped me down quickly and I got the "OK Honey" right after that. I don't do a lot of lingering afterward anyway, so it wasn't that big of a deal, but I've never before felt rushed at Lotus. I suspect YoYo had an appointment coming up when I got there, which she didn't want to give up / let Sophia take, but she didn't want to turn me away either. I appreciate the willingness to work me in, but think it would've been better to let me know I'd need to wait for Sophia to be available or come back in a bit. Or--and here's what I was hoping for when it became apparent that YoYo was rushing--she could have tagged Sophia in and gone and taken care of her appointment and let Sophia finish me up. I think Sophia has the most playful personality of all the ladies there and it would've been nice to get to experience some rubbing from both of them (without having to pay 4 hand rates). Certainly not the worst experience I've had in this hobby, but probably my worst experience at Lotus and just kind of disappointing since they're usually very reliable. I'll definitely repeat because of previous good experiences and lack of other options in Kalamazoo and I'd have no problem seeing YoYo again since I've had good visits with her before, but if I go back and it seems like scheduling is an issue, I think I'll just ask if I should come back later. --RJ.

I think I'm done at Mei Li's. You never know what you are going to get massage wise and NEVER get extras.
I tried Moon again and while the service was OK, I too noticed some unfriendly eyes watching, 2 separate occasions actually. I'll bet they are already on borrowed time.
Sunshine I always get a good service and my ATF just returned from a long vacation.
Haven't been to Asian massage in a long time. Would like to hear if anything has improved.

Jd.It looks like this was your first post, so I'll assume you don't know how to use the search feature yet. It is your friend. In the upper right corner of this page, click on Advanced Search. Then you can do a keyword search on the next page, but you'll have to scroll to the state and city you want. I've reviewed Sophie's a few times here under Kalamazoo massage and in the Holland massage forum. My most recent and thorough review of Sophie's was back in June (6/12/24 I believe) here in the Kalamazoo massage forum. If you click on my username over to the left, it should give you and option that says "find all forum posts" or something like that. You can click that and it will take you to a list of my posts. The post with my most thorough review of Sophie's has the heading "A Hit and a Miss" and like I said, it was back in June. Sophie's was the "Miss" I referred to in that post. It all depends on who you get and what the circumstances are. Sophie, the boss lady, is very much pushing straight massage only. A few of the girls there will do HE, but there's a better than average chance you'll leave with relaxed muscles from the massage, but blue balls from not getting a nice finish. But as we always say, YMMV--RJ.

3 different spa Owners in this region, have personally told me, that there's a "company" known to them all, that "handles their Advertising."
This includes Stg massage posts + most other.

There is a brand new AMP, In the middle of the Shopping Center, located on Columbia & Helmer.
Some reviews starting to come in.
Reported Very Much Same in all ways, to Both Happy & Spring Spas.
& Yes (LOL), actually right next door but opposite facing, to Spring spa.
Reaction of the AMP Mgrs, to further B. C. AMP Mkt "fragmenting" TBD.
Close drive from Kazoo ofc.

I decided to check out Lisa, I've heard a lot about her.
She is absolutely gorgeous. There is no doubt here.
That's all the good stuff in my opinion. The back room is so close to the sidewalk I'm sure you could hear "things' if you were walking by. Had to remind her to put on music. She quoted 200/300/500 using a phone translator app. I didn't even ask what all of that was for. Just got the standard ending and walked away.
They are leaving the front door open and locking the second door. She didn't answer the bell or texts for about 5 minutes so I had to stand inside behind the door to stay out of sight. There was no one else there or in the parking lot, so I'm not sure what is going on.
I also saw the neighbor on the other side of the fence milling around. I think they are on to what is happening.
I won't go back. Something bad is going to happen here. Too much attention, too close to a school, etc. Too expensive.
TOFTT today and visited the new Otsego location. 50 hhr 70 hr basic rub and tug. Provider was old but she got the job done. Good massage but not the best. Would repeat in a pinch or if they bring in younger talent. Tipped 60.

This massage store is not a massage store. If you pay for an hour, you'll be lucky to get 10 minutes of massage. All other places in town give you what you pay for. The upselling is ridiculous, the prices are outrageous. 200/300/500 was quoted to me as well (whatever that is), and I got lackluster service because I didn't want to pay $100 for a standard finish.
The neighbor is nosey, and school kids walking by on the sidewalk.
I'm surprised it's still open.
I'll continue to frequent my other favorite places in town.

I visited Moon about a week ago, knowing that they had a turnover in talent. The girl that I met introduced herself as "Coco," but it took her a few minutes to come up with that name. I'm not sure if the delay was a result of the language barrier (she speak Mandarin and uses a translation app) of if she was so new to the massage business that she was making up the name on the spot. She was probably in her early 30's and had a decent body and face but not as attractive as earlier workers at Moon (e. G. , Allison and Lisa).
She did use her phone to offer services and rates. The rates were well above the market so I declined and made a counter offer which she accepted. The session was uninspiring so I would not recommend a visit to Moon until there is a change in talent. Also, as others have noted, the location is not ideal, being close to a school / neighborhood and sharing a building with an insurance agency that is open during regular business hours.
Never going back.

Kalamazoo friends, some may have heard the sad, but JJ unexpectedly passed away in late September. His knowledge and sharing of the hobby will certainly be missed. May he rest in peace.

I gave up on Sunshine about 6 months ago after a few disappointing visits where the only talent was a large, overweight woman. I'm not sure why, but I stopped by recently on a whim. I was quite surprised to meet Mia, a slender and attractive Asian woman with pretty good English skills. Her massage skills were quite good. As usual, YMMV but I would visit her again.

I am sorry to hear about JJ's passing. I always read his intel and often it helped me. I don't post much these days but in honor of JJ, I will provide my experiences to help fellow hobbiest out. Kalamazoo has historically been bad for hobby and we always had to go to Grand Rapids. But currently we are in golden age. There are so many good options that I don't have enough time or money to keep going back to these ladies. Following are the women who have good heart, and I have connected with them and have repeated with them. I am sure they will make you happy as well. List is not in any specific order as they are all good in their own ways. You won't be disappointed seeing any of them.
1. Lisa at moon spa.
2. Mimi at Lotus.
3. Annie at Asian massage on sage at.
4. Sunny at sunshine.
5. Nana at newest place on helmer in Battle Creek.
All of these women are beautiful in my eyes, YMMV as always.
