Decided to try the spa that was mentioned in post #1179. My experience was almost identical to the one listed including the girl who gave me the massage.
Place was easy to find and they have plenty of street parking. Called first and asked for Tracy / Grace whoever was the girl in the ad. The girl who answered the phone spoke broken English and I made an appointment with the girl in the ad. When I arrived the girl in the ad was there but sitting on the couch waiting for her "appointment". I explained to her that I *was* the appointment but she said she was waiting for her *other* appointment. There was another girl sitting there who has much darker skin and curly hair but she never looked up from reading her magazine and looked so unhappy about being there. I ended up with Jackie who led me to the room and took the fee.
The room was really small but at least it had a door and was seperate from the rest of the place. The table was pretty flimsy and did not have one of those holes for your face to fit into. There was a pillow on the table but I really prefer that hole for your face so you can lie flat on the table. To me it just seems more comfortable that way. There was a space heater in the room and she had it on and it got waaay too hot in there and not in a good way! LOL.
What followed was almost exactly what has been describred in the prior post so theres no need to repeat eveything here. She used too much oil, cleanup was barely passable and the ending was too mechanical. Overall it was mediocre at best. Costs were 80 + 40 and I will def not repeat unless I hear things have improved.

She quotes $150.We exchanged about 3 or 4 e-mails yesterday, she scheduled me for 2:30 and said she would call me to confirm at 1pm. Never heard from her, no e-mail, no phone call, nothing. Might try and give it another shot because the location is convenient, but the lack of "customer service" (for lack of a better term) is pretty rude and frustrating. I have to agree with Energizer completely. If one finds themselves in the company of a genuine LMT, I. E, has a license and appears in all other respects, whether skilled or not, to be providing a therapeutic service, testing the waters so to speak with tips #3 and #4 will most likely be taken as rude, crude and / or disrespectful. You then went back to a lounge and selected your masseuse by handing her the form, she went and got the room ready and handed the form to receptionist or another old lady who worked keeping the clean and doing the laundry. Once you were back in the room when no-one was near they would check your locker, make sure your name was close and you were not LEO. They also checked your wallet to see how much money you had. They would then walk back to the room where you were getting the legit part of your massage and look through the window and signal your masseuse as to your legitimacy and amount of money. The deal at Mandela is that they screen you and then put your name into their database. Before computers they had all of your information written on a 3' x 5' Index Card. This information was rather detailed. Your Masseuse's name, the date that you visited, your personal hygiene, your tipping habits, what type of service your prefer such as a HE, Topless, Fully Nude etc, Of course, If you did FS that was between you and your Masseuse. Although I never experienced FS at Mandela it has been mentioned here and at the other defunct site. How do I know all of this? I used to see an 'Independent Provider' in the Newton area who worked at Mandela for several years. She was a rather disgruntled former employee who was very open and honest about the inner dealings at this establishment.
On another note, I must say that I am impressed that Mandela has been in business all of these years.

A few days back I posted a list for newbies. Some mongers took exception with a couple of steps, namely 3 & 4. That's your right it's a free country. What I meant is if the lady leans over close where your arm is in range of her ass or her leg, go for it! I don't mean in a grab ass (pun intended) type of way, but more of a gentle or accidental touching. If she moves away the first time then you are in a legit place and nothing is going to happen. If she stays there, try it again, maybe a little longer and gauge her response. If she let's you linger for a bit then moves on be patient, because you may feel that nice finger-tip massage up your legs and on your balls later in the massage with no words spoken until the flip.

However, I learned that the real reason why was to let the masseuse know that everything was okay, that your I'd checked out and you had sufficient funds. The system worked like this: You walked in went down the stairs to a receptionist, you gave your name and paid door fee. The receptionist. She wrote your first name and your key / locker number on the form and handed you the key. You went and changed and put everything in your locker and left your wallet with money in it easily accessible. You then went back to a lounge and selected your masseuse by handing her the form, she went and got the room ready and handed the form to receptionist or another old lady who worked keeping the clean and doing the laundry. Once you were back in the room when no-one was near they would check your locker, make sure your name was close and you were not LEO. They also checked your wallet to see how much money you had. They would then walk back to the room where you were getting the legit part of your massage and look through the window and signal your masseuse as to your legitimacy and amount of money. It was then off to the races.
I have to admit, I miss the Royal, and Old English. Something about seeing young women in leotards or bathing suits waiting to massage you was really great.
WetGreat memory on both places. After I became a reg at RS I used to go to the tv room and just sit there for a time and watch both the girls and the customers and how they interacted. You're being VERY generous on your ratings but I had the exact experience except I left chaffed. Could barely make it happen and the sheets on the bed were disgusting. The Medford group got busted after they moved from the square. The everett group onCL is inconsistent and not good in the looks department. I found myself with a bit of time on this hot day and, since I also had sore shoulders, decided to check BP for an MP. I found Sophia's listing (20211601). She does not post a phone number, requires an email through the BP system. I wrote, and promptly received a reply. We exchanged a few emails and was informed that she is in Boston (down town, near Copley) , and exchanged phone numbers.
At the agreed upon time, I called and she came down and escorted me to her apartment. First impressions? She has a lovely little body, stands about 5'4" and as her ad said, she is petite but decidedly not flat! (thankfully) She seems shy at first, and later told me she had received "so-so" reviews on another board due to her seeming shyness. However, being nothing even remotely resembling an expert at this sort of thing, I'm a bit shy myself. We chatted the whole way up and talked about where we were from, how it was to live in such a location, etc. Her apartment is somewhat spartan (not "THIS IS. There was no massage table in evidence, so I asked and was instructed to lay on her bed. I disrobed and she did too, then lay down. She has, in my opinion, a lovely little body. Skin a very smooth chocolate color, and breasts that are quite lovely, perky and firm. She knelt down next to me as we chatted and she asked about sore spots and any areas of particular need. Now, as I said I'm not expert, however her massage was about "average" I'd say, as I've only ever been to an AMP before and the woman in my previous outing had very professional massage skills. This felt, to me anyway, a little more intimate; It wasn't an office with a phone ringing now and then, paper thin walls with generic Asian elevator music playing, but laying on a bed, in a bright sunny room with a great view of Boston, and an adorable naked young woman next to me.
Result? Well, the massage as I said was good and intimate, felt more like one from someone I had met and "hooked up with". She found a really solid knot in my shoulder and worked that out. I was very relaxed after a while and found it very pleasurable. Cost was high for a massage by AMP standards ($) , however intimacy level and attractiveness was well worth it in my opinion. She seemed very open to instruction on how to massage and said so a few times, but I just let her do her thing. I paid for and got my full hour, not once did things feel rushed in any way, nor was she a clock watcher.
Overall, for me, I will repeat if time and opportunity presents itself primarily due to her not rushing, to it feeling. I guess I wouldn't say GFE, but it felt comfortable and imimate. She stated that she hasn't been doing this sort of thing for a long time, but then again neither have I!

I found myself with a bit of time on this hot day and, since I also had sore shoulders, decided to check BP for an MP. I found Sophia's listing (20211601). She does not post a phone number, requires an email through the BP system. I wrote, and promptly received a reply. Hey, I know this is vague but one of you on here might be able to pin point who it is, or have a contact number or name. Made a trip to the Back Bay to see Sophia recently. My visit was similar to those described by Caltrops and Bosjim, so probably no need to re-create the wheel here. However, allow me to add a few comments:
- Perhaps irrelevant, but she seems like a genuinely nice person; she'd probably even change a twenty for you if you didn't have exact fare available. I didn't get the impression she's in the biz to support a drug habit or that she's incapable of supporting herself by other means; more likely a 'side hobby' to supplement her 'normal' income.

However, on the post they do say,"Massage By Spanish Masseuse," which to me seems like they are hinting at something. I mean, if I was looking for a legit massage, I wouldn't care if it was by a "Spanish Masseuse" or an "Ethiopian masseuse," as long as the massage was of great quality.
On the other hand, if I was looking for a massage with a little extra. Then I would be concerned with what the masseuse looks like. For visual aid purposes LOL

Other reviews do not appear to be legit based on other reviews of same place.

First trip I asked her to join me in the hot tub and that was a big no. Massage was ok, but white lab coat and HE was mechanical.
Second trip about the same, no to hottub and lost the lab coat and showed the top during uninspiring HE.
Never ventured back.
