I'm going to preface this with I really am into pregnant chicks. So when I saw Angels add that said she was expecting I was excited. Three names and two phone numbers for what was obviously the same person set off the alarm bells, add in pic's that I am pretty sure are fake / someone else and the odds get worse. On Friday I call Angel up to see if she is going to be in Wichita this weekend. She tells me she will so I set up a tentative Saturday morning appointment. I get some info from her about whats available and also rates and I make one request for stockings / heels which shouldn't be a big deal. I figure I am good to go.
Saturday morning I drive down and call her when I leave (it's an hour away for me.) Everything sounds good and she says she has to make some stops but gives me a general location to head to. When I about 10 minutes away she calls me back, tells me she has to get the room key from her friend and asks if I want a half hour or full hour. I tell her a half and she gives me a rate that is considerably higher than what she had told me the night before. I tell her this and she says that she only ever offers a half hour for that. We talk a bit and settle on an agreeable price. She seemed calm and polite on the phone and I was the same. She then tells me she'll give me a call when she is in the room as I pull up to the general area. And I wait. A half hour goes by and I try and call her and find out my numbers been blocked. At that point I'm a bit hot. I've driven an hour, I was looking forward to this meetup and now nothing. I left the area and then decided to try "Erica's" number and that one is blocked also.
So my question to you all is did I do something that was uncool or was this shenanigans on her part? I realize you all are hearing this only from my perspective but if I forgot anything it was minor. There was never any attitude given by either of us so it really baffled me. I'm not a frequent hobbyist but I thought I had the system down. I don't want to give this girl a bunch of grief since it sounds like others have seen her and had fun. Anyway, that's about it. I guess this isn't so much a report as a bitchfest on my part. Hopefully I'll be moving into a new job soon and if that happens I'll be able to visit a few more prospects and I'll make sure and give a report if its someone new.

Well gents,

She said if I didn't open the safe, she was going to call in the uniforms who were sitting a block away. She said they would pry the safe loose and take it as evidence.
I told her I had handguns in the safe. She put her hand on her weapon and told me to unlock it. Once unlocked she directed me to go back into the kitchen with the older one.
She asked if guns were registered to me. She had older one take down serial numbers and check on Iphone if they were stolen.
She said one of the guns did not check out and asked me why that would be. She carried the guns in a towel and asked me if I had a plastic bag. I told her where to find one. She put the gun in it. I have had the gun for over 20 years. She said they were going to have to take the gun and I could pick it up later if I could prove it was mine. She made a show of calling her boss and telling him about the gun. She then said that he told her to let me keep it, that I was lucky.
I could see the badges were not Wichita Police. I asked her and she said she was a sheriffs deputy. She said if I felt at all uncomfortable she could call the uniforms to come in to confirm her identity. Obviously I did not want sheriff cars sitting out front.
I said, well I guess I should write down your names. They both did not hesitate to give me their names which I wrote down.
I thought about calling 911 to verify these women. But of course I don't want to explain the circumstances.

So, looking back signs were there, but the women were very smooth, relaxed and slick. They played to the knowledge I did not want to make a scene. Even though I was very suspicious, I wasn't willing to take the chance that they turned out to be real.
If they were real, I did not want to rile them up and make matters worse like be hauled out in handcuffs for all the neighbors to see. They of course played on that fear. And then of course, even if I confronted them, at least the one and maybe both were armed.
I am a big guy and could have easily taken down the one I knew to be armed before she got the gun out of the holster. But if I was wrong and they were real, that would add assaulting a police officer to the list. If the older one was armed, she could have shot me.
Was it worth taking that chance?
It could have been worse. My wallet was in the safe, though they took the money they did not take the credit cards. They did not take my drivers license. They may well have taken the guns; but didn't. I may find some other stuff missing as time goes on.

She said she needed to check that no one else was in the apartment and I had no weapons or drugs around. Sounded reasonable.
From a distance, it is easy to say that I should have insisted on seeing photo I'd's, etc. But when you are in this situation with real LEO, one does not want to annoy them. I was wanting to appease them as much as possible to keep a couple of police cars skreeching into the driveway. If I had known more about police procedures I am sure I would have become convinced much sooner that they were fake. But even if I did convince myself they were fake, there is still the matter that at least one and possibly both were armed. Anything I did to physically take control would have likely involved someone getting hurt and authorities called. Which is what I wanted to avoid.
In hindsight, when I saw there were two of them, I should have refused to let them in at that point. Of course they may have caused a big scene about me cancelling; knowing I would want to avoid drawing attention of the neighbors.

Called this girl to apartment. She got lost and had to call for directions. I saw this as a good sign; because the police would not need directions, right. Arrived in white Ford Explorer with Wichita WildCats tag on front.

She asked for my I'd, and supposedly older lady ran it looking for wants and warrants on her IPhone, saying I came back clean.
She said that we could go to the sheriffs office or if I cooperated she could fill out a citation and I would get paperwork with a court date and such in the mail. They both went on about how what I was doing was dangerous, diseases, yada yada.
One with the pistol then told the older one to stay with me at the kitchen table while she searched the premises. She saw that I had a lot of medications and asked what my health issues were. Then she found my safe, attached inside some furniture in the bedroom.
She wanted me to open the safe. I told her I didn't want to. I was starting to get suspicious that I wasn't handcuffed and no uniforms had showed up. She said if I didn't open the safe, she was going to call in the uniforms who were sitting a block away. She said they would pry the safe loose and take it as evidence.
I told her I had handguns in the safe. She put her hand on her weapon and told me to unlock it. Once unlocked she directed me to go back into the kitchen with the older one.
She asked if guns were registered to me. She had older one take down serial numbers and check on Iphone if they were stolen.
She said one of the guns did not check out and asked me why that would be. She carried the guns in a towel and asked me if I had a plastic bag. I told her where to find one. She put the gun in it. I have had the gun for over 20 years. She said they were going to have to take the gun and I could pick it up later if I could prove it was mine. She made a show of calling her boss and telling him about the gun. She then said that he told her to let me keep it, that I was lucky.
I could see the badges were not Wichita Police. I asked her and she said she was a sheriffs deputy. She said if I felt at all uncomfortable she could call the uniforms to come in to confirm her identity. Obviously I did not want sheriff cars sitting out front.
I said, well I guess I should write down your names. They both did not hesitate to give me their names which I wrote down.
I thought about calling 911 to verify these women. But of course I don't want to explain the circumstances.
Younger one brought out a box of condoms from bedroom and said that they were taking those as evidence.
"Why? It's not illegal to have condoms" I asked. They both said that me giving her the condom was evidence of solicitation for sex.
That didn't make a lot of sense to me. At that point she was close enough for me to see her badge a bit better. It said "Greenwood County sheriff Undercover" on it. I said "We are not in Greenwood county" She smoothly responded that they were a part of a sting task force, brought in because people might recognize local police.
Younger one asked to search my pockets. She asked if I had any needles or anything that would poke her. She took out the last half of the payment from my pocket.
They told me to watch the mail for a summons with a court date. They said the fine was $500, but that they usually would allow the confiscated money to be used against the fine amount.
They left. They never was any paperwork, they never asked me to sign anything. As I calmed down and thought about it, I thought more and more that it was a scam. I called a friend and as I told the story to him it was even more apparent that I had been taken by fake cops.
I went back an looked, sure enough, I had $60 in the safe and it was gone. My pain pills were gone two, the empty bottle sitting on the shelf. Since her jeans were to tight to have the bottle without it showing, I am sure she had dumped the pills in the box of condoms that they took with them.
So, looking back signs were there, but the women were very smooth, relaxed and slick. They played to the knowledge I did not want to make a scene. Even though I was very suspicious, I wasn't willing to take the chance that they turned out to be real.
If they were real, I did not want to rile them up and make matters worse like be hauled out in handcuffs for all the neighbors to see. They of course played on that fear. And then of course, even if I confronted them, at least the one and maybe both were armed.
I am a big guy and could have easily taken down the one I knew to be armed before she got the gun out of the holster. But if I was wrong and they were real, that would add assaulting a police officer to the list. If the older one was armed, she could have shot me.
Was it worth taking that chance?
It could have been worse. My wallet was in the safe, though they took the money they did not take the credit cards. They did not take my drivers license. They may well have taken the guns; but didn't. I may find some other stuff missing as time goes on.
