There is the city license ordinance back in 2019 and also the bad publicity for Jenny before that. As far as speculation on the owners, I do wonder if it's more fear of ratting on each other than coming to an agreement (see the earlier post "tired of getting BJs" which looked like a fishing expedition).
That leaves Hiawatha as the outlier but IME in the past and from other reports it appears they are staying at L1. It'd be nice to be proven wrong.

My last visit was at A+ and it was the typical CR experience so I'm willing to give a new place a try.
Been there, asked how much. She said $45 as I was staring at the sign that said $40, she quickly corrected price. I drew older of two. Decent massage, OTC roaming. She leans in during finish and talks dirty but that's it.
When I was leaning the other lady looked younger and bet attractive (I think) it was just a brief image of her I captured.
Curious what you find.
I will also try to check it out this weekend. Thanks for letting us know.

Don't give up on this location. New providers arrive frequently and competition for clients with new shops makes anything possible. Continue to be polite and respectful and I think you will be surprised.I think you nailed it pretty much on the head. It's not that difficult. It's all in the attitude and respect. If you can just NOT be pushy, rude, cheap and act like an ass. Even for 60 minutes (the rest of the day you can be yourself again). You should be able to find more than a HE.
Was in Cedar Rapids after driving for 8 hours I wanted a good massage and a good pop (usually I'm just in it for the pop LOL) never tried Cedar called and the lady didn't sound like she was 60 so I went in greeted by three ladies 3 were over 60 one looked upper 60's and the third was probably upper 40's I handed the money to her hoping I didn't get a switch and lucky me she came back to the room started with a dry massage and I thought damn this is going to be shitty so she did that for about 15 min then stopped I thought thg flip was coming and she grabbed the oil and started really working a deep massage very good elbow work and kept teasing the boys did that for about 20 min then came the flip was already standing tall she didn't skip a beat went right for it nice and slow not rushing got her bra pulled down some nice ones with those always hard nips no underneath roaming but I feel like if you're a regular she'd loosen up good technique got me to pop just a little over the hour time. Decided to try oriental since I saw it was a AMP in the area and I didn't see much of a review on it. Paid for an hour and overall it was great. The lady was good looking, nothing mind blowing but had a good figure and had some nice ones. Basically went without a dry massage, instantly pulled out the lotion. Stopped by Young Spa today around noon. One lady was working. She spent almost as much time on the phone as she did on the massage and shorted me 20 minutes of my paid hour. Massage was decent, finish was a resounding 'meh'. Wouldn't recommend going back until they get some new staff.

Decided to go back to oriental since it was so good last time. Ended up getting the same person as last time. Same stuff as last time, used lotion pretty much right away and did her thing. Let me do more touching of her legs when she was giving me a massage. Probably noticed my package getting excited and on the flip she asked if I wanted a HE and for it to be on her chest, which I obviously said yes. She did her thing and made me pop. Went to the one at Center Point, got amanda is her name is I remember, she spoke perfect English. Massage was good, OTC roaming allowed, but upsell on everything. Room was super quiet where we had to open the door a bit to hear some music. She closed the door on the flip but one of the ladies walked in while getting down to business, she just casually walked in and asked amanda to read a text for her and walked out. Just curious if anyone has knowledge of other places that offer HE massages? Don't get me wrong nothing wrong with going to a AMP for a HE but I'm not sure if there's any other places to look out for or where I can look for other places that may offer a HE.

So I was doing some Monger internet surfing a few days back, and read a couple reviews on Oriental in Hiawatha. It says that more was on the menu there. So today I went there and went in; the gal came from downstairs and asked what time I wanted for massage. I paid for an hour, and she showed me to the room. I got ready, and she came in. She did some fast hand massage over the towel for a short while. She did some minor teasing, and then she said to turn over. Negotiations start, and she started the fun (NOT!) It was a very fast pace, not good for me. I asked her to slow down, she did but it was not even working. She tried a PM, and it kinda helped, but she went back to very fast action; it wasn't working for me. She did keep working at trying to finish me, and she kept going. I tried different positions to try to get done, but no luck. I bet she tried for 15 minutes, she would switch hands, each hand had only one routine, which was not doing the job for me. I eventually had to stop her and she cleaned me up, and I dressed and left. I did leave a tip for her efforts though. But this visit I rate as my worst so far. Thanks for the input everyone who replied to my post. Yep, my last two or three times were not good, even though it was spread out over a year or so. It didn't get any better for me. I have had good experiences at the one on C. P. Road by the burger place. Also Cedar is an often good time too. I haven't tried any others for a while now. I have read about the one in Center Point, but the reviews here about it don't make it desirable to try with the prices they want there. Is the one by the Irish Demo. Still open? It's been before Covid hit when I was there. Back then there was a gal that introduced me to the PM massage! But that was when they first opened, maybe a year later on. Doesn't sound promising now though if they are still there. And reju. Isn't fun either. My first time there years back was fun though. That place was the first one that did the deed before the massage. She was younger, and easy on the eyes then. Is the place across the street from the Id. Still open and a possibility? Long time since there for me too. I can't remember any others in CR that are open. I thought I would put some info out there for you all, if it helps at all. Well the past week or so I have made it into CR a couple days, and decided to have me some good time. On my first day in, I decided to try to set up with Katie, who I have seen twice, before the covid, and I thought I would give her another try. On my second trip in, I went to the place on 6th st SW in around 6 pm. I paid for an hr, and went in to the room to get ready. I was the only one there until about halfway through the hour, when someone came in. I heard her say it would be 30 minutes wait; he said he would wait. But she came back in, and did the full half hour massage before I turned over. Then she started the tease, and basically I was done with the session 15 minutes short of my time. I didn't mind though, she is a fun gal, likes to do things to get you to laugh. She does speak good English too. Not a bad time there. I would say that place is 3rd out of all cr AMPs to go to. Decided to make the rounds before the weather kicked in little rough on the bike but stopped in at Cedar was not busy and had the normal girl there along with another older one proceeded down to A plus and they were busy plus one sitting in the lobby so it doesn't look like that's letting up too much there so continued to bike down to the one by old Nadia's on Center Point Road and the gal in side seem to be a younger gal a little bit thicker than usual so I passed on that went up to Sunshine still the older girl there just saw one went over to well health and it's the same one that's been there for about 2 years now did not even make it across the street to rejuvenate. Went back to wellhealth later and had good results like at A+, might be off bike for a while. Guess I did have a lame 4 hand experience once. One lady talked dirty while the other did the dirty work. I have had great 4 hand sessions, where they take direction well and it's been a real fest. But often it just a pushy way to get extra Bens.

But I don't want to have to run around and find an extra $10 or then wait around for them to get change. It's easier to just run to the ATM and get some twenties and call it good.

I agree with Biker, they believe that business is sooo great they can be more selective on their clientele. My experiences recently in CR totally reflects Biker's experience with certain AMPs. I have decided to go cold turkey with them for a while. Maybe if business drops off they may change (maybe! I just wish the Asian ladies on STG weren't so expensive.

I am going to quit AMPs, I am not getting the vibe from them anymore, last two times I visited, I was not getting into them, and had to leave not happy. They seem to be just trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible so the next one gets in to tip them. I am visiting Phoenix later this month and have been reading their forums on their spas there, they sure have it better than here! A couple places offer soo much more! Shower, with a lot of extra, then short massage, and FS+ finish! . 6 for the initial fee, then 1. 6 for all that fun! And the ladies are oriental, in their 20-30's and with big cs! I may not come back from there! LOL P.S.: I suppose I will still see the ' rotasians' here when I need to.

I was fortunate to take a vacay in Phoenix this last July; the heat was terrible but I didn't stay out in it for very long. I will have to tell of my experience there with the AMPs there. Before I left for my trip I contacted a participant of the arts in Phoenix, and he referred me to a couple of mps to try. I only had a chance to try one there, and WOW! Everything is on the menu there! The entrance fee is the same as here, . 6 for the hr. For full service it was 1. 6 with a table shower, I will say it was grand! I don't know her name but she was shorter, old and doesn't appear to take good care of herself.
Jumped off the bus at DQ, had a snack, then tried WH on Tuesday. 2nd gal there, cute, but no English. Tried half hour since was new, even though better rate is at full hour. Figured the savings paid for DQ. She is strong! Ended good, but rocky road getting there. Don't know if this is the usual, or didn't understand 'soft', which is my goto for 1st timers.

I'll let you guys do some searching and find out for yourself if you have not already. Sounds like some of the other areas are running into the same challenges that we have here. Most of this is centered around the prices for different levels of service. With a common mutual feeling of don't be too generous or tip too much. And in some cases, it sounds like the quality of what we are getting is very dismal. I actually like to have a decent massage. I don't like the grimace through the whole thing. Because they are rough or using their elbows to rub my back.
I remember reading a post a long time ago. Where the authors stated that money is like cocaine to a lot of these people. They are addicted to it and they think it should be just handed to them. I know most of us work for our money. I think they need to as well. I understand it's a business and if they aren't busy, it's hard to pay the light bill. But at the same time when they are busy they are making money hand Over fist.
As I probably mentioned in an earlier report. I got burned pretty bad and it was a very expensive lesson. Given my cash flow I probably won't be experiencing anything else till after the holiday. I'm just glad I could still ride around without fighting snow and ice.

Went there a few weeks ago and got the short one for hh during a non busy hour. The massage was no good and she kept leaving the room too many times even though there was no one else there at the time. Avoided full and made me not want to come back.

Visiting for the holidays and at a hotel within walking distance of A+. I see, by a previous report, that it might be a bit of a waste of time for a first time visitor.
Is that really the case there? If so, is there another very nearby place I could get the knots worked out and relax a bit?

I made it in to cr and decided to try out A+ on Center pt rd. It was late in the evening and I called to see if I can come in. She said yes, and I went over. I paid for an hr, and proceeded with the session. I will say it surprised me, I had a very good massage, and was happy when I left. I will go and visit again.

Was at Rooty last week, if you stop, got to read signs on front door. Also hit WH over weekend. New 2nd gal there. Young, English which is a plus, and easy going. Massage was ok. My last few months have to rate Sunshine massage being a notch above. Eye candy at other places a bit better.
