Kind of discriminatory to give half off to student IDs, think there were three ads like that yesterday at least, since that would seem to be giving the biggest discounts to those presumably the youngest and in least need of their services. So, for all of my friends who have left school behind to venture into the real world, and most who are too old to remember which school they may have attended, I am proud to announce that ILAPPU, for a small nominal fee, will accept you as a student in our Hobbiest Life Experience degree program and thereby provide you with a valid student ID you may use to take advantage of their great 50% discount programs. I have to admit that is a twist haven't seen before, hell this might be more lucrative than selling teddy bears was. Sorry Coach, love ya where ever you are.I knew I should have called you first damit. I just enrolled at Ivy Tech in Anderson so I could get my student I D and see her at 50% off. The part about taking notes and keeping organized track for future reference is very important. I've been doing this for a long time. My notes are on a single word document permitting me to search a phone number, website, etc, to see if she has come up before. Mine is almost 1,100 pages and comes in handy. Like right now. Tony, there's not much new about her out there on this phone number, just more ads with the same number. It seems her name is Breanna. Her pics are Tin Eye negative. My notes show nothing other than one semi-negative comment (the response you got in November) but that gent did not see her himself and he was making a conclusion not based on his own front-line research.
So Tony, my notes contain nothing dirty, I updated them for you. You've been after her for four months, I can't research her any better. She's been advertising long enough now that a negative report on that number should be findable and Google reports nothing. It doesn't get much better than this.

I have been registered here for a while, just passed my first year anniversary. I have read and gone back and read the local threads as far back as I could. I had nothing to report so I have made no posts, I was trying to listen and learn and not get in the way. I was referred to the site by a couple of friends and figured if I ever had anything of value I would throw it in, I don't need to hear myself talk; but I can't believe no one has said anything about all of this, so I am going to call bullshit.

OK, I am not all that young but I had to google this to get what this was. Does anyone really believe that the posts made by Maras lately here were written by a 21 year old girl who makes her living as she does, no judgements on that, but that language is not what you hear from a 21 year old girl, particularly one living as she does. Pogo? Really? I am sorry but that is something only some old white guy is going to say. She has hardly been alive long enough that she ever would have seen that in print let alone committed it to memory. And I am trying to remember the last time a 21 year old girl I have been talking to ever used the word vetted, I'm betting she hears that word and she thinks the guy picking her up is driving one and she's wondering how the roadhead is going to work.
If anybody believes these opinions, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you.

The fact is that screening can be difficult on here for the new mongers. The majority of bad reports seem to be young providers, or just plain too good to be true ads. If people would use a little common sense, backpage is fine. Just my $.02
I'm not a very active hobbyist (have a girlfriend I care for alot) but do browse backpage, e dot com and here a bit when I'm bored. I like trying to spot the fakes and such, but I've been kinda curious about some of the scammers. What are they going for or trying to sell? I see the ones with email addresses and I'm names and understand that, they want me to subscribe to webcam crap. But I see some that just seem legit but TGTBT, and after a little research, I find something like multiple posts in different cities on same days, different pics for the same number. Just things that don't add up, but they only give a phone number, no email. Not being an active hobbyist (except for the occasional massage here or there) I haven't actually tried any of the numbers, but I'm still curious what the scam is. What are they wasting their time for?
Also, my tricks for filtering / screening (many I've learned here, thanks for that) include, Googleing the number / ad / girl, tineye for the pics, searching here. Any tips on other good tricks for sorting out the fakes?

Visited the one known as Jenny this afternoon and found the experience closer to forgettable than memorable.
