I'm assuming both spa's in question are the same place. Most reviews lately about that spa haven't been the best. I still go there maybe once a month mainly because it's 3 minutes from work. The last 6 months I'd say have been simply bleh. Saying full menu I haven't seen that in well over a year from this spa. I could be mistaken, but just passing some light from my experience. It wasn't bad? I can't imagine that place not being bad. I went there once years ago at about 2 AM, since it was the only place open that late in the area. Winter time, and the heat was off. Didn't hear it come on once. I was covered with two blankets and a sheet, and the masseuse was wearing street clothes and a jacket. Both of us were shivering. She said that management had the thermostat locked up and turned off. I toughed it out just because she was somewhat pleasant company. We actually had fun with the whole upsell thing, because I let her know I knew the game plan there. She tried like hell to get me to spend more ("We could really warm up if you wanted to spend another $400" kind of stuff) and I just counter-offered her with blatant requests like "For $400 would you actually fuck me?" She knew that I knew and I knew that she knew, so it was more of a fun little game for me. Not for her, her little tricks didn't work. But I figured if I go in not being a sucker, I stand a better chance of breaking the code, right? Not exactly. So it was about as memorable an experience as one might have there.

After shopping, I was eager for a good AMP massage and went to Asia Paradise Spa. Next to & very different than Massage Mo Tu.
Spidey tingles went up went directed to room & didn't have to pay first.
Found Mamasan at door & escorted to door, heard barky guy on phone in back of location taking reservations.
Massage was a 9/10 for straight massage. Walking on the back, strong through out.
NO extras- when asked VERY strong NO.
Pay on way out. But amazing massage for $$.200 for a rub down?

Long time lurker here trying to give back to the community.
I visited spring spa in Spring Grove recently. Walk-in appointment, didn't call ahead to schedule. I was met at the door by the mama, who I know I recognize from years past, but I can't place her. She escorted me back to a room (there were several rooms) and told me to get undressed and lay face down on the table. No sheet and no towel offered to drape, so I laid there giving the room a full moon. The MT came in and began a body rub and asked if I wanted more. Started at $$. 2, but negotiated down to $. 4 for a full experience. MT spoke very little English, but enough for us to get by. She was cute, well-endowed and told me her name was DeDe. Upon leaving, the mama introduced me to the other MTs and she hinted to having more available. As a guy who enjoys variety, I was pleasantly surprised by some of the talent. Not all.
All in all, I will be back and often. That said, with how upfront this place advertises, I doubt it will be around long.

St. Charles has such a hard on to get rid of all of the spa's that recently they sent in an undercover officer to try to get a HJ at this place. I checked out the prices of some places in Carol Stream recently. One wanted 80/ hr, 60/ half hour!
World wants 70 for 45 min. At least they are being honest now, they used to say 70/ hr and make sure you were out well before 60.
I am not sure if they are getting that, but not from me. Especially as my last pre-virus visit was so crappy.
But, I did want a massage, so I went to Bamboo. It's been pretty decent in the past, so I had some hope.
And boy, was I well rewarded.
First, they have and use a table shower. I've always felt that was one of the best reasons to visit an AMP. It's relaxing, gets you clean for the lady, and if she knows what she is doing, it can be as enjoyable as the massage. Plus, it eats up time, so why not? .
There were three ladies present, the one I got was likely the least attractive of the three, but was still above average for an AMP. I guess she was early 40's, the others looked younger.
She was really friendly, and did a GREAT job on the table shower.
The massage was really nice, not the often agonizing type you get, but relaxing, and enjoyable. I had been doing a lot of lifting, and my poor back greatly benefited from her massage.
She then went to an odd mixture of massage and "soft touch" that the Korean AMPs used to do in the late 90's early 2000's. That was usually designed to get you ready for something and let her ask you something with your big head doing less of the thinking.
It was really nice, and I was super relaxed and happy when turn over time came. That was excellent, and as there was about 15 min left, I got a fantastic skull and face massage.
Perhaps the fact that I was dead tired and sore made me enjoy the massage more, but I really think it was quite a superior experience. I gave her a really nice tip to express my appreciation.
Who knows how long it will last, but for now at least, Bam boo is a great visit!
She wore a mask all the time, I did not.

She definitely wasn't a skinny little waif. In fact she has a little bit of a belly. Nothing gross or hanging. And with a little extra weight some Asians can have a very nice ass which I could give an 8 rating.
Oh, and I met Elsa. Clearly one of the most beautiful Koreans I've ever met. Couldn't tell much as it was in passing but her face looks very young. Next time.

I have been going for years and have never been disappointed even as providers change. They usually have the same staff for extended periods of time so if you're a regular you can build rapport.

Well, this one certainly goes into the category of TOFTT.
Pros.
The massage was really nice. I was really relaxed when I came out, and they did a great skull massage. Something I very much like and appreciate.
The staff were attractive, and I actually got one of the nicer ones.
Cons.
Even though they have a table shower they don't use it or offer it.
L 1 was possible, after a lot of "discussion" but no roaming, and no going under shirt.

I stopped by 11 this week and met Atty (she spelled it for me). She is the most beautiful, fun spirited MT that I have met at an AMP in this area. The table shower was wonderful and relaxing. Halfway through the massage she whispers " you take care of me", I said "always" and off came everything! Her skin is the softest and smoothest I've ever touched, her body was trim and toned! Her English is good and she smiled and we laughed a lot, I could not have had a better time! I did stuff to her that I've never done to another MT. In the end, she only looked at the tip and said thank you, she never counted it. I paid the standard 1 hr house fee and left her 6 Jackson's, probably would have left more if I had it with me. I don't think I will ever meet anyone again as nice and sweet (tasting) as her. If you go there, please take good care of her, she is a diamond in the rough!

Hey guys. Just FYI I stopped in at Melody massage yesterday in Quincy, IL. Service was good ended with standard HE. But the big thing you probably want to know about is she never changed the sheets when I was done. Yuck. They took my temp and made me sanitize my hands before going to the room, but after the massage she straightened the sheet and put a towel with flowers back on it. It looked just like it did when I walked in. Needless to say I went straight home to take a shower, but thought most would want to know of this. When I questioned it, she just said ok and shrugged her shoulders. My 2 cents. Stay safe, and stay healthy.
I went there recently. It's near Downtown Bartlett. I really was thinking it was a legit foot spa place, that being what I really wanted.
But, once I got in and realized what it was, and the usually cute woman appeared, little head started doing the thinking.
She was early 40's, but looked quite nice. No TS, which is too bad, but the massage itself was quite good.
I got the hot stone treatment for no extra charge, and as the day I went was a chilly one, I greatly enjoyed that.
The L1 was pretty good, and there was some reluctance to roaming, but I was able to persuade her.
A decent experience, even with the surprise.

Massage actually was good my back was done justice and she dug into my lower back which felt great because she wasn't rough about it she has some skill. After that time comes the flip to which L1 was achieved but she did not allow roaming as she pulled away and then did the dreaded back to you while she fapped away.
Wanted 60 but I only showed her 40 which she took as I hide the fucking money elsewhere.

I drove up to VIP (I had been there before and google was my friend). Within the time I parked 2 other cars pulled up. Decided to sit tight and watch both gentlemen walk in. The first one was let in as the second was walking up to the door. I bailed. Took a bit but found Shu Thai. Different sign on Mall though. Nice gal, late 30+ gal in tight jean shorts and buttoned shirt. Went for hour at 65. Asked her name and she said Yes. Asked again and same answer. She asked massage style and I replied Medium. A few years back I was dating a woman from one of the spa's. It was a Friday or Saturday night and I drove her to a house in Chinatown to have her eyebrows done. The owner of the house was a Chinese woman that did all sorts of beauty treatments out of a studio in her house. Anyway, we arrived early and were seated on the couch waiting for my girlfriends appointment. While we were sitting there I saw a few of the most beautiful Chinese women that I have ever seen in my life. These women were clearly in their early 20's and just stunning. They would go in the studio room and come out like 10 minutes later and leave. I asked my girlfriend what was going on. She explained to me that the girls were there for a quick wax job on their privates in order to be ready for the weekend. I laughed and asked my girlfriend what spa I could find them at. My girlfriend wasn't happy about me drooling over the young girls and told me that these young girls charge $400 per hour and you would NEVER find them giving 40 dollar HJ's at a Spa. I went to Flushing NY a while back to visit a Chinese woman that I know who worked at a spa in the suburbs. Flushing is basically a Chinese city located in New York and has a population of around 75 thousand people of which 55 thousand are Chinese. There is no shortage of AMP's in Flushing and all over New York. Thus being said, the good looking one's can choose to stay in New York and work or go elsewhere. My friend showed me several ad's for help wanted spa workers in Chinese news papers. These ad's were from spa owners in the Chicago area. The Chicago area spa owners are posting ad's in the Flushing Chinese news papers hoping to attract some of the leftovers that can't find work in New York. Many women have told me that Chicago in general is kind of a last resort for the women. The women generally don't come here because the weather sucks and the crime rate is horrible. If they are good looking enough they will choose Florida or Atlanta. I will personally blame myself for the Chinese AMP scene being shitty. I myself am very guilty of going to a Chinese AMP and giving grandma 40 or 50 bucks for a HJ. Over the years I have just settled for what they give me and now it's to the point I don't even care anymore. These grandmas come to Chicago and the burbs because they know that there are a ton of spa's that need workers and there are plenty of horny morons like myself that will pay 40 or 50 bucks to get a HJ from a grandma.
