I had an interesting experience at YUN. I was greeted by the young lady who changes her name every time I visit. She is short and squat I would say and likes to shake the twins at you through her shirt, wears a lot of makeup and a has nice larger than life back end. On the weekend days when I've gone she has been the mamasan. I'm sure anyone who has been here in last few months knows who I am talking about.

She has massaged me before. This time it was nice and firm massage but I felt it was a bit rushed. I left happy but along the journey and interesting thing happened that I have not experienced at a spa before. IMO, they want the return business and it showed this visit.
One of the other things I appreciate is they always have had enough girls when I've gone so I've never been turned away. On the way out she introduced me to another nice looking older lady.
I can still recommend YUN.

I highly recommend a visit to YUN. It may take more than once to get the flavor but it can be a down right comical experience.

I was in the Northern suburbs for a wake. After paying my condolences, I had time to waste and remembered that a brother on this site recommended this place to me. I called up and made an appointment. As I was ignorant about this area, it took me quite a while to find this place. I almost ended up at the spa on Oakton and 83, New Life. If you are looking for this place at night, it is on the south side of Oakton facing it, about three blocks west of 83, and bordering it to the west is a two way street which is split by a divider. Drove past the place several times before I realized that it was right there.
I was greeted at the door by Tammy, who, surprisingly, was on the plump side. She took my door fee and led me to a room and told me to get comfortable. The room was clean and sizable. She took me to the table shower where she gave me a complete, and very pleasant scrub. The massage was good and she didn't miss anything. I left thoroughly refreshed and will repeat. Standard tip.

Adventures are rare for me, so thanks to the valuable information provided by my fellow mongers, decided that Yun would be the best 'bang for the bucks'. Arrived mid-afternoon and parking lot was essentially empty. Kids were playing outside of the door, which unnerved me somewhat, but I went in anyway. Declined the table shower, was shown to the room. Paid 0.70 door fee. Massage by 'Goochi', older face, killer body, especially in the jean short-shorts she wore that day. Massage was very good, no nudity (except for me). Some weirdness during the massage. At one point (while on my stomach so I couldn't see the door), I heard speaking (Korean?) outside of my door. When I looked up a few moments later, a different person had taken over the massage. A little heavier asian wearing a skirt. She had many questions - "Were you here before?" "Where else have you gone?" "What they do for you there? As this was my first local experience, I tried my best to explain that my experiences were mainly at the lingerie shops in Rockford. Goochi returned, had the flip, asked similar questions, and then she asked how much I was going to tip. I tipped .40 to ensure my happiness, and the expert technique resulted in the expected conclusion. If you haven't been there before, the place seems very clean inside, and the hallway when you first enter reminded me almost of a hotel. Overall. It's finally open and is among the best in the BG area. Realistic cover charge, and rational accessorial charges. Mimi is as talented as you can find, and this place should be embraced for quite a time. It's been over a month since I have been to Yun so I went there the other day. The regular mamasan was not there. I really miss looking at her cleavage. This was my second visit to Yun and my first with the table shower. Yoko was EXCELLENT and she washed me up until I was all clean and shiny. And then off to the room where she sat on my bum while massaging my neck and shoulders. Very nice. Only problem was that apparently many of you fellow mongers also decided to visit Yun at that time, and with mamasan off work, Yoko had to answer the phone and the endless doorbell rings. She made it all right in the end with what was for me a spectacular finish.
I still recommend Yun, but you need to be tolerant of distractions. And a final word on Yoko is that she is FREAKING HOT, and she could be my best spa buddy forever. Stay horny, my friends.

I think there has been a changing of the guard at Yun. I had a session with Nana last week. Questions, upsell and shorted on time. In and out in 30 minutes. I didn't see the younger, well endowed Mama san.
Nana is nice looking but the service was well below par.Long time lurker, felt the need to add to this.
Based off this and another post, it might just be Nana. I'm 90% sure that's who I had about a week ago (I thought she said Lana though). My experience was pretty much the exact same. Nice body, skipped the sauna, which I wouldn't have cared but then the massage lasted maybe 5 minutes. She then asked me to turn over and I felt like I was dealing with a car salesman. Numerous questions and upselling. Completely killed my mood and I left early.
Have been there 3 times before, all with very good experiences. Some of these other posts are making it really tempting to return, but I think I am going to have to hold off for a bit.

I happened to notice yesterday that on the BP ad for Spa Lux they accidentally cut and pasted the Elmhurst address that belongs to Yun instead of the Dundee address where it is, and that they changed their ad to say "Grand Open (ing)" I decided to TOFTT, and fully planned to walk if I wasn't happy with the changes. The girl that answered the door was the same who disappointed me at Yedam a few weeks ago (see my report on the Waukegan / Pine board), I turned to walk but she stopped me and convinced me to go ahead with a session. The name she gave was the same as an MT who disappeared from the N suburbs at about the same time that I came on the scene a few years ago, I don't know her from Adam so I won't post it but she said it as if she were well known. Seniors can PM for details, everyone else, this is a good place to earn your wings. The girls were very attractive, and the facility is definitely one of the nicest in the N Cook / Lake area.

In my other life, I'm in the finance business. It is pretty common practice for folks in the Korean community (and possibly others) to transfer ownership / sell to friends, family, in-laws, etc. And drop out of site, only to pop up again somewhere else. Or some other city. Makes it really hard to lend money (and get it back) and I expect hard for LEO as well. Sort of a big Whack-a-Mole game. For us, the only real message is to try to stay in touch with people rather than spas. Once you are trusted, they are happy to give out a phone number. They need "regulars" as much as we do.

I'll let the others weigh in here. My 2 cents are these: First, do your homework. Read the last 30 days or so of the forum. Google numbers, read other sites. A place that has many reviews is probably more popular than a place with no reviews. (Not always true, but a decent guideline in a pinch). A place where guys tip 0-$20 is legit. A place where the tip is $40 is probably a HE place a place where the tip is a $100 - well. You get the idea.
Second, be a nice guy when you go. Relax, have a good time. Be friendly and respectful. Don't ask for anything illegal, of course. Take the table shower if they have one. Don't put one the towel when you get to the table. If she asks if you were there before, just say its been a while. You can mention other places that are competitors. (That's were your homework will come in handy.) If she asks how you like your massage say you like your massage to start hard and finish soft. Whenever she does something you like tell her so and thank her. Just enjoy the massage and try to connect with her.

Took a chance that the recent reviews were on point for this place, and they were. $80 for the massage. Provider was younger than many places, and endowed! Table shower was nice, not quite as intimate as I like, but fine. Sauna, then massage. Massage was 7/10, she left during the massage to answer the door, that was annoying. On flip I was covered, but removed the towel. She continued to get close, but no HE. I lead the hand to what I wanted, and off to the races. Took off top for me to enjoy. Good teasing, even a bit of a French lesson. Cleaned me up, left and no discussion of tip. I left $40. If the massage would have been better, I would be heading back today.

Sunny at the busiest place in Mt Prospect (y) gets credit for extra effort to make sure I left happy. I am not a fan of that much silicone. She looked better with top on than off I'd still repeat.

Tried out Spa Lux the other day, after seeing someone mention that the mamasan from the old Singapore Spa was working there. I was hoping for a Singapore type experience.
But it was not to be had.
Friendly staff, mid 40's, average looks. Nice service. But overall nothing special.
Three weeks ago I called Victoria's, where I go once in a while. I usually see Lena, a tall, thin blond with good performance. They sent me Maria this time, a Polish woman without a trace of accent. Nice looking and good conversation. I get on the table and she comes in. Oh, you forgot your towel. No, not really forgot. But on it goes. She talks about life, home, Lena, how often I've been there and seen her, etc. Sounds like it is all going good. On the flip an accidental touch, for which she apologizes profusely. No need to, I say. She's massaging my chest and my scalp with her goodies rubbing my face. She moves to the side of the table and doesn't seem to mind my wandering hands. I take the towel off and she immediately puts it back on and says I'm showing off. Now I'm worried. Mixed signals. But she continues for another five minutes, then stands over me and tells me the massage is over, and walks out. Uh. I left her a tip, a small one. But really, if you're a repeat customer who knows her co-workers and gives the signs and she still walks out, what are you going to do?
A day later I go to my old standby, Aesthetic. Vera tells me she's not working, Maria (her Maria, not Victoria's) is not working. But she'll send me Lisa. OK, just make sure Lisa knows I'm a repeat customer. Lisa shows up. She's a bit heavy, but presentable, tall and blond. She doesn't mind my being undrapped at all. I just ask her to and she goes to work. Now the strange part. She has a tattoo on her left shoulder that looks like a green blob. That rings a bell. 3 years ago Vera sent me a much nicer looking blond with the very same tattoo, but she went by the name of Victoria. Not Victoria's Victoria, but Vera's Victoria. So either Lisa and Victoria are the same woman and she really let herself go, or there is something about these green shoulder tattoos that I'm not getting. I really do wish I could find a reliable independent at a decent price.

If there is one thing I've learned with Euro girls: there are no accidents. Grazing the boys, not being in a hurry to drape you, brushing their body along yours. This is all prep work to insure that you are both legit and a potential regular. Euro girls really like classic romance, which on the surface seems unlikely for a spa setting. They just want evidence that a guy is willing to be part of the chase. Maybe a cop isn't willing to go the extra mile, but a man who is into her will.
If she is attractive enough, go back a second time. If you built a solid rapport the first time around, you'll likely see some magic happen.
But really, if you're a repeat customer who knows her co-workers and gives the signs and she still walks out, what are you going to do?

Found myself in the area about 90 minutes ago. Drove by and saw Uncle sitting out front, basically like they pulled up and double parked. Now, they could've been in any of the three store fronts in a row there, but I felt that not finding out was the better play. Dead presidents secured in the wallet, and onward I drove. Lost the mood after that.

I went to spa yun and my masseuse was playful during table shower and right away starts in without any back massage at the room. It took me awhile and she was working real hard when all of a sudden she says something in Korean and another one comes in from the bullpen and they tag team me to completion. It was quite a good time.

No sting. No due process. No nothing. Their goal is to make keep these places out of the community. Not fill the jails with people. This is more expedient.
It is also conceivable that a place could avoid health code violations by paying the proper health "consulting fees" to the appropriate health code "consultants". Maybe Yun pays those fees. Maybe Mt Prospect has a more active health code consulting environment than BG.

I went there once last summer, just after they opened on a Saturday. I thought they would be glad for the business at a slow time. Instead I'm knocking on the door for 5 minutes before a 50 ish woman opens the door. "Why you come now? Too early!" Some yelling from the back, followed by yelling from the front, and I am let in. 50 ish woman did the table shower and the massage, both of which were sub-par. A day later I go to my old standby, Aesthetic. Vera tells me she's not working, Maria (her Maria, not Victoria's) is not working. But she'll send me Lisa. OK, just make sure Lisa knows I'm a repeat customer. Lisa shows up. She's a bit heavy, but presentable, tall and blond. She doesn't mind my being undrapped at all. I just ask her to and she goes to work. Now the strange part. She has a tattoo on her left shoulder that looks like a green blob. That rings a bell. 3 years ago Vera sent me a much nicer looking blond with the very same tattoo, but she went by the name of Victoria. Not Victoria's Victoria, but Vera's Victoria. So either Lisa and Victoria are the same woman and she really let herself go, or there is something about these green shoulder tattoos that I'm not getting. I really do wish I could find a reliable independent at a decent price.Saw Lisa again last Friday. Massage and finish were good but she got demanding for a tip above standard over and above what I normally tip, and I tip good. I won't be asking for her again.

Went there on Sunday and had another banner customer service sessio. Once again. Had 4 hands with Mae and bebe (who told me her name was Bonnie before). Bebe has outstanding bolt ons. Tight body, about 40 ish. $. 4 plus house fee. Both girls do speak pretty good English.

Sad to say the discount is over. Still worth a visit. But not really the crazy bargain is was yesterday. Owner apologizes for not advertising the price increase.
Saturday I opted for something different. After about a year hiatus, I went to a Chinese apartment. I saw "Anne" who advertises in BP-Bodyrubs.
Ok looking girl about 35 ish. Nice body. Completely detached and mechanical service. Granted she was very technically skilled but just not that great of an experience.
I think I've only had two outstanding experiences at Chinese apartments out of about 100 visits.

Visited again today and had a totally mellow time. Owner is Sarah. Excellent massage skills. Continued 1/2 hr after the typical Korean AMP would be saying "OK. All finished. " She also was experimenting today. "Do you like this? "Or this? "How do you like this?" Totally fun, and a little weird at the same time. Opposite of bored, mechanical, etc. $50 + tip.
Don't go here if you want a 20 year old spinner, FS, shower, or 1/2 hour massage.

She sometimes advertises on Craigslist. Has a Facebook link with basic information. As others have noted it is in the back of a Nail Spa, but I have only seen someone there once. You can ask to come in the back door, which I have done a couple times.

Over the Labor Day Weekend, I went to Jun's Spa and saw Emma. They still had discounted rate, very good massage, okay finish, and roaming was allowed on the outside. Thank you guys for the recommendation. Only handshake nothing more was available.

I went to Yun again and it was a great massage. I had wanted to hit one of the asian apts but no one was available that I wanted to see so I ended up at Yun. Nice table shower but not much washing of the goods (a little though). Back to the room and the massage started rough. It was like she was pushing on me and had no idea what she was doing (but she did). I almost was laughing how she was pushing me and not doing any massaging. I thought to myself that they have finally gone downhill. Then she did some great stretches and more actual massage. I guess the pushing was to loosen me up? She did nice arm, leg, and shoulder stretches which felt great. She also used her fingers to get in my back deep. I felt great afterwards and I felt like I had a real massage. This massage ended up being better than the last one. This was also the first in a long time that there were no negotiations for a tip. She started without even asking which was a great change. I hate to haggle. I tipped $ and I was there just over an hour.
