Agreed. Food wasn't even that great.
Lots of hot chicks though. I think they'd be even hotter if it was a cocaine expo.Maybe its better to just go plant your own weed. Why pay for something you can grow yourself.

If this trial in March results in a conviction for racketeering (or a plea bargain), no doubt a precedent will be established. This is a felony charge too. Then any other openly known and long running establishment may be successfully pursued in the same exact manner by LE and prosecutors. I'm sure all owners and operators (and their attorneys) will be closely watching her trial and the evidence gathered against her. A lot of it may be based on the large amounts of cash accumulated and the money trail. Be interesting if violation of the Mann act may come into play. Or if anyone testifies against her. With the seriousness of the charge and the involvement of a grand jury, the prosecutors must feel they have a high probability of conviction. It's going to cost her a lot of legal fees if she contests it. If another establishment is successfully prosecuted with the same charge, may end up that the places with the best girls will go underground and may do screening of clients like on the mainland. The AMP scene here would drastically change.Fuck. That fucking sucks. The AMPs are part of the natural ecosystem. Hope she is found not guilty.
Both the City council and State senators act like some "holy see" dick head, but in really are as rotten and crooked as they cum. They won't pass any beneficial laws that locals can enjoy, unless these crooks can make themselves look "righteous" while fucking you over, just like what Rail is doing. They make it look "legal" by taxing it and slipping some of it through the corrupt construction industry, who in turn line their pockets "under the table" of course.
If these crooks were to legalize gambling, then all the other issues like crime, prostitution can be blamed on them. Because they are getting kickbacks from Las Vegas gambing industry to keep it out of Hawaii, so these crooks get a portion (and not be noticed) when Hawaii residents spend $millions in Vegas instead of Hawaii. They can claim they are responsible for keeping Hawaii "clean" while they line their own pockets. Time to vote them out by voting for their opponents. The definition of democracy:
A system in which the people get exactly the type of government they deserve.

Is she still around? I haven't seen her on the morning show lately, just Lara Yamada.
Is she still around? I haven't seen her on the morning show lately, just Lara Yamada. She's doing some outside reporting and has also been filling in on weekends when someone is off. Heard or read that she's engaged now.
One has to consider the events leading up to Yoyo's arrest. Neighbors complained, the board complained. LE had to do something. Now, after so many failures, The prosecutor has to do something to save face. Hopefully, after this is over, they will crawl back into their hole and leave the others alone. I think LE is hesitant to interfere until complaints get so bad and numerous that they feel obligated to do something.Remember a couple of years ago when Kaneshiro was running for D.A. and his campaign office was downstairs from Kison? Figure it out, LOL.

Awabi. She used to work the morning show & waking up to that beautiful local girl in sometimes revealing wardrobe doing the weather was a joy. She can't help it, she's so hot that whatever she wears reveals her smoky sexiness.
She now does weekend weather & she's still smokin' hot!!
I imagine it to be darker on the outer lips but inside is a radiant shade of pink on the inner lips & deeper.
Have often Fantasized about how volcano hot she would look spread wide open.
Her hubby is one super lucky bruddah!!
Well played, my man.
Be safe,

The news photo below is from the Bunny Ranch brothel in Nevada, the state where the Democratic presidential caucuses will occur this Saturday. Although I don't support Hillary, it's nice to see those in "the world's oldest profession" become involved in politics, which has been called "the world's second oldest profession". Of course, there are similarities between those two professions.
Judging by appearance alone, I probably would want to privately "caucus" with the provider who's holding the "E" in "Hookers" and the provider who's holding the last letter in "Hillary".
I wonder if Bill Clinton personally visited the Bunny Ranch to help organize support for his beloved Hillary? LOL.

I wish she worked at at AMP, that Taryn hatcher. She's a big girl and just juicy looking, yum.
Why do you think she has a gulp? Please don't talk bad about her as she is a very sweet kind loving mother and human being. Like everyone else she is human but no grump. She is sexy as hell and with lovely breasts and a beautiful face. She is a MILF and one that can happen to. Love this wond!!
Does anyone have Intel on Chelsea Davis. She has to be the number one along with Alex Cerball to fuck from news people. I have been admiring Chelsea for a while now. I see her as being 23 single and horney as hell. She probably does Keahi or some of the football players. I would love to hook up with her. I would pay for Intel about her.

She is a big girl alright. I was at the softball game and she was filming the game. She was wearing this one piece type blouse I think women call it. She was walking up the stairs and I didn't want to make it too obvious but wow she has a lot of cellulite on both her ass cheeks. Her tits looked small too and she has a big nose. She isn't that pretty in person. Maybe I had a bad view, maybe I was tired idk. But that is my humble opinion and assessment of her. I would bang her without a questions though if she said yes LOL. Definitely doable!

Indian print or some outrageous colors but I kinda liked it. She had her hair tied back with a rubber band or something. Now I'm getting all worked up. I wish I was behind her walking up the stairs I could see her ass again because she just looked pretty good today. She usually only films about 3 innings and leaves. Injured Veterans Approved for Penis Transplants
The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) announced Wednesday that Johns Hopkins Medicine plans to conduct 60 penis transplants on male veterans, over 1,300 of whom suffered urogenital injuries from 2001 to 2013. Eighty-six of those injuries were severe. If these experimental operations are as successful as the first viable penis transplant in 2014, doctors will consider opening up the procedure to more candidates.
For now, however, servicemen are the top priority. As JAMA notes, part of the ethical justification for selecting veterans is to repay them for their service. The surgery comes with risks of rejection -- penis recipients will have to take immunosuppressant drugs for the rest of their lives -- but transplants could help injured veterans start or grow families.
"You have a person who sacrificed part of their life for our society," Dr. Craig Klugman, a DePaul University bioethicist, told JAMA. "That is one reason to go ahead".
Most recently, as Military Times reports, veterans who have lost their penises have received a radial forearm free flap phalloplasty, in which forearm skin and other tissue are used to construct a penis.
As JAMA notes, the surgical technology for a penis transplant is still in an experimental stage. The risks of such a procedure must be carefully considered and weighed against the benefits. And with new advancements in regenerative medicine, the penis transplant may prove to be a stepping stone on the way to a more refined technique.
As if you needed another reason to think twice about an incall there.
http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/31551888/police-officer-shoots-seriously-injures-suspect-at-honolulu-airport-hotel
(Here's an interesting story from Florida. A middle-aged, not-very-attractive guy approached by a "young, appealing blond" stranger to have some drinks in the privacy of his hotel room? If it seems too good to be true, then maybe it is, lol.)
Alvin MXXXX is 40 and by his own account, not especially attractive. So when the young, appealing blond approached him at Nikki Beach late Sunday night, he thought he won the lottery.
"She said I don't like young boys. I like men. I thought, 'Wow, this must be my lucky day,' " MXXXX said.
Police though, believe it was a scam from the start. One that almost cost MXXXX a $28,000 Rolex watch that he said he spent seven years saving for. This time, though, MXXXX's persistence and alertness paid off.
MXXXX said his interaction with the Colombian beauty began innocently enough on Sunday night. He was celebrating his brother-in-law's bachelor party at Nikki Beach on Ocean Drive in South Beach, when he spotted her about 20 feet away. Friends approached her, MXXXX said, but she rebuffed them.
As he was leaving to get a cab at about 4 a.m. on Monday, MXXXX said VXXXXXX smiled at him, then sidled up to him as he was waiting for a taxi. She asked him if he had booze in his room at the Loew's Hotel, 1601 Collins Avenue, where he was staying.
"Of course I wanted to take her to bed," MXXXX said. "But she wouldn't let me touch her".
The two downed shots of whiskey, then passed out in the same bed. At 7 a.m., MXXXX said, he noticed VXXXXXX get dressed quickly, put on her shoes, and race out the hotel room's door.
Also gone: his expensive Rolex.
So MXXXX threw on some pants and chased VXXXXXX, first down the elevator, then into the lobby. By then, she was waiting for a cab on Collins Avenue and 16th Street. He said he confronted her. She denied stealing anything.
When she jumped into the taxi, MXXXX yelled at the driver that he had been ripped off. VXXXXXX got out and hailed another cab. MXXXX said he kept yelling. She got out of another cab. Then she called TXXXXXXX on her cellphone. Police said he showed up in a white Mercedes. She jumped in. The duo sped off.
A few minutes later, though, on the MacArthur Causeway, police caught up with TXXXXXXX and VXXXXXX. MXXXX identified them. They were arrested. MXXXX got his watch back.
VXXXXXX was charged with grand theft and cocaine possession. Her bond was set at $21,000 and she remained in jail Tuesday. TXXXXXXX was charged with grand theft and driving without a license. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was also still in jail Tuesday.
Now MXXXX, an executive at a transportation company in Canada, has some explaining to do, especially to his wife.
"I told her 99 percent of the truth," he said. "I told her VXXXXXX was a stripper we brought back to the room for my brother-in-law".
In France it's OK to be a prostitute, but not to pay for one.
A new French law effectively shifting the criminality of prostitution onto the client instead of the sex worker, has been met by protests from prostitutes.
France's National Assembly on Wednesday passed the law 64-12, imposing a $1,707 fine for those who break it. Under the new law, the previous ban on solicitation will be overturned and $5.4 million will be set aside annually to encourage sex workers to quit the trade.
The comprehensive law, regarded as a major social reform, has been argued in the National Assembly since 2013.
French Socialist MP Maud Olivier, the sponsor of the legislation, said the change was "fundamental to reverse this balance of power". She said clients had to be informed they are funding prostitution rings and that prostitutes should be seen as victims.
"The goal is to diminish prostitution, protect prostitutes who want to quit and change mentalities," she told French newspaper Le Monde.
About 60 sex workers protested the bill as the final vote neared, some carrying signs reading "Don't liberate me, I'll take care of myself".
Some sex workers suggested the new law will obligate them to work in more secluded areas and away from police.
"We will simply face more poverty, more violence and more stigmatization," Morgane Merteuil, a spokeswoman for the sex workers union Strass, said on Wednesday. Other groups, including France's foremost AIDS organization, noted in a joint statement that about 80 percent of France's approximately 30,000 sex workers are foreigners.
"How can someone stop sex work without residency papers, long-term housing or sufficient cash allocations?," the statement asked.
I think CNN's Brooke Baldwin looks so hot. I love watching those facial expressions she makes every morning.

"How can someone stop sex work without residency papers, long-term housing or sufficient cash allocations?," the statement asked. The notion that it's legal to sell but not to buy is based on a law passed in Sweden a few years ago. Several other countries, France among them, have passed similar laws. Other countries, including the UK and Canada, have laws that say it's OK to buy & sell, but you must be "independent" and can't run a business based on the hobby (brothel, escort agency (I. E. Pimping), or MP). I've tried to hobby in Norway, but it's nearly impossible. The Swedish model has resulted in outcall escorts. They can freely advertise in more detail than you'd find here in the USA, but a buyer has to be as discrete as here. The UK and Canadian models have resulted in outcall agencies and membership-only "sex clubs" that are really orgies. Then, there are countries like German and Austria where almost everything is legal for both buyer and sellers. These countries are hobby heaven. The important thing is that, if one side is legal, the other side can find ways around the law. Take a look at ISG and you'll be able to read a lot more about this.
My bottom line is that we would be a lot better off in many respects in the USA If we adopted a similar law rather than the situation we have now. Of course, the major difference is that every state could do things differently.

She announced it last month or so. I was noticing that her breasts were getting huge several weeks ago. I swear almost just below the size of regulation volleyballs, LOL. She looked like she was gaining weight and I suspected so, but wasn't positive. I noticed when someone mentioned that it looked like Jennifer Robbins was gaining weight. I also noticed that Chelsea Davis is doing some news commentation in the studio, nowadays with Steph Lum during the prime new hour, mmm, I think she's hot, just my opinion. Peace out.

Sounds like he must have paid for it had a session then took his money back and took her in. Crazy. Or told her to do something with him so he didn't take her in.Hi Jasmine,
Updated news article says he used his work computer to look up her case and then wanted services and bribed / coerced her without paying. This the computer, prostutution, and bribery charges. Crazy!
That's too bad. If I recall correctly he was a pretty good UH volleyball player. He went for a spike and got roofed. That happens in the sport of VB.

Go figure.Yeah that is a head scratcher, wonder if the raise was by contract or typical for the position, or was it performance based. Seems as though he has someone in his corner, given not only this but the fact that he is still around despite a growing and vocal opposition. So far it seems he has the support of his men, which seems to be his redeeming quality.

http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/31857935/exclusive-mother-of-15-year-old-sex-trafficking-victim-applauds-hawaii-lawmakersIs sex trafficking a major problem here in Hawaii? Where are these so called minor girls being offered out? I've never seen anything that might remotely be considered minors.
Seems this is really only targeted toward minors. Girls under 18. What if there are girls who are over 18, but are trafficked into the USA from a foreign country? Seems that would be a problem not covered by this law.
Yeah, I saw her on the news yesterday. I swear, I thought it was a dude at first.Even if she was a guy, she would still be ugly. She is the "executive director"? Does she get paid? If so, How? How many work there employees? Only her?
Yeah, I saw her on the news yesterday. I swear, I thought it was a dude at first.Yep, looks like she grew a pair of testicles when she was a kid. I think even Cro-Magnon would have second thoughts dipping his pipe in that after seeing her face, he'll probably lose his hard-on and run back into his cave!
Someone needs to "satisfy" that he-she with rough sex, caveman style, no mercy yank her hair while doggie pump with at least a minimum 12 inches of thick salami meat. That should bring about the necessary attitude change of a delusional deprived individual that really "wants" it, but hides behind some sick joke of advocating sex rights.
Who knows, maybe that 15 year old's mother was responsible for her daughter wanting some extra cash to work that trade? Now she is claiming to be a "victim" to collect some government benefits, I bet she even writes off her to get tax breaks but never gives her a dime from her tax refund?
Where did Ann Sterling go? I now longer see her on the morning news anymore. Miss getting my morning"stretch"!
Where did Ann Sterling go? I now longer see her on the morning news anymore. Miss getting my morning"stretch"!I think she went to Chicago. Could be wrong. Others might know the whole scoop.
Here's a better question — if a woman willingly enters the profession, knowing the risks, is she still being trafficked? Is she trafficking herself? Will she be charged as the pimp and the prostitute? These laws assume no woman does this willingly, but sex work is one of the few fields where women consistently make more than men.
Now, I'm not saying all women are independents, but they all aren't pimped out either. But if someone does this out of their own free will, with no coercion, where's the crime? We've all read the stories about the law student who kept on hooking despite getting her JD, because the money was better than being an associate, or the Olympic track star who had a secret double life as a Vegas hooker.
Oh, right, it's a crime because of the morality of society at large, and people like Xian who assume all sex is rape. As it's been said so often here, if it's between two consenting adults and no one's being hurt, there is no crime.
I suspect that sentiment is too Libertarian for the overwhelmingly Democratic leanings of this state, however.

She's not a police officer and if you use her your committing a crime for underage minors working like prostitutes. But then that's just my opinion. HPD is already a corrupt network so basically they could do any shit!! They want too.

I think HPD needs to up its standards to even be considered a recruit. Like a 2 year certificate for criminology classes or a 4 year degree. But if we make it too hard to just get in, were screwed either way. No one would pass the test unless given the correct answers. What do you think Mr Chief?

If they're too smart, they might have a conscience. Or they might move in on the older cops' action.
As an aside, didn't the HPD have a problem with mainland departments poaching their cops? Something about the HPD academy training being very thorough and going above and beyond what most PDs teach new recruits? If that's true, the only cops you'd have left were the ones no one wanted (especially considering how much more cops make in large cities and the cheaper cost of living).

Whomever the minor is that made such a claim can remain anonymous unless he will officially be charged by the prosecuting attorney which they won't have any facts or evidence. In the end, their will be a huge lawsuit. First off he us already in paid leave. Second off, all he needs to do is never be caught in a situation that involves prostitution. He will never be charged. And with enough time passing w the his reputation being smeared he can sue after some time.

Back in the 80'S HPD was very easy to get into but with higher standards. Like with any other employer to fill vacancies HPD dropped their standards so they could get more recruits. HPD still as I understand it has the best academy out of the 50 states. Even though our officers do not require and college degree HPD hires more recruits that do have their accosiates or BS degrees. We have one of the best Police Departments in the 50 states. I have nothing but great respect for our men and women in blue. In my opinion the problem is our recruits our very book smart and needs time to get street smart. Give them time and they will turn out to be the best PO in the country!

Yes, Yunji DeNies is pregnant? I think a couple of months now. I will say, however, even knowing she's 6 months pregnant, she is a thick wahine with a sweet bigger than a handful okole. LOL. Very cute and attractive in person and a nice conversationalist.

Exactly. I used to joke that Liberty House (now Macy's, for you kids too young to remember) was the biggest employer of UH graduates.
Doesn't seem like much of a joke now, and the endemic nepotism in government and the private sector is killing this state.
You're right. The only good jobs I ever got was because I had to know someone in there.
the endemic nepotism in government and the private sector is killing this state.Like the recent news report that the head of Local 1260 of the electrical workers union hired four of his relatives as union employees for a combined total annual salary of $426,000, plus giving them various improper fringe benefits with union money.
Like the recent news report that the head of Local 1260 of the electrical workers union hired four of his relatives as union employees for a combined total annual salary of $426,000, plus giving them various improper fringe benefits with union money.Nepotism and the desire "not to make waves" are the biggest problem for both private and State / County governments. Down right racist policies are evident in the hiring process of the State government in which a Japanese last name appears to be plus in getting that easy skate job, doing practically nothing and getting paid.
Just look at the population percentage of roughly 17%, yet this particular race is represented by no less than 64% of State workers! There used to be a local expression that "if you're not Ja-pa-nee, then do look at me" when applying for a State job, so true in those days when they got away with it.
My older brother who is a Vietnam veteran with 4 years active duty experience in accounting, who graduated with a BS degree in that field at UH and while as an intern for the State, actually won a prestigious award from then governor George Ariyoshi for creating a procedure that saved the State $millions applied for that position upon graduation. But then the State hired some local Japanese senator's son, who had no experience but was a classmate of my brother.
That's how fucked up the State is and BTW, that racist George Ariyoshi also hired only those of Japanese ancestry to every single major posts of his entire cabinet. This is a true fact and can be verified just by typing in Google to find out yourself, no one dared to challenge it because the courts and judges are stacked with nepotism cronies who will retaliate against you should a family member be involved.
Now about this IBEW local 1260 that represents HELCO union workers, yes it represents the crooked nature of unions being abused by greedy selfish parasites hiring family members to suck it dry. The worst part is the headquarters of IBEW assigned another crook Harold Dias formerly business manager of IBEW local 1357 (HawTel workers union) to replace him!
I personally know him and was a shop steward of 1357, in one case I actually had to threaten him and that union to represent some overtime violations that we eventually won in front of the judge.
The biggest problem is that members of both the unions and government have this negative attitude of "not getting involved", but they are more than willing to collect any settlement so long as they do not get their hands dirty.
Things are not going to change because of this attitude and frankly speaking people like myself who risk being retaliated and persecuted will only go so far and give up because of this lack of support from the very people who benefit from your sacrifice. I could never get a decent job because of my reputation of questioning incompetent management and doing something about it even if I am the most qualified job applicant.
Now that I'm retired and as a veteran status actually make more now than while working full time, but I sometimes get request to run for some union business manager's position. But turned it down because I'm not willing to go through it again when people are still too lazy and coward to stand for their rights, I did my share and don't need that stress any more. So these union members have no one else to blame but themselves if they want changes, they should run for office and kick out these crooks. BTW, admin says not to name any person, but in this case, it is public knowledge and I have copies of such reports that is also available for public record at the National Labor Relations Board where the employment trials are held.

Bruh that's Mama Yoyo, check out the 2nd paragraph it shows her real name and spoke about her trying to bribe an agent. Here's an excerpt "she made the offer in January 2015 after two Chinese women at her Mayflower massage parlor in Honolulu's Century Center were arrested for prostitution during a joint operation with Honolulu police and Homeland Security Investigations. So corrupt, HPD, getting away with participating as john's themselves. Wow, I didn't expect Homeland Security to get involved in AMP businesses. Usually, it's HPD and immigration law enforcement agents such as ICE or INS, who are involved in these stings.

Give them time and they will turn out to be the best PO in the country!I read this over and over it makes me giggle, thanks for the humor original poster!!
Hint, hint, ie. The taxi driver employee who was fired. With that logic, AMPs should be advertising at building offices, other workplaces where sexual-harassment is daily to take their pent up frustrations someplace else after work.
I only found 2 related to a taxi assault, 1 worked for the cab and after he was arrested a background check he had a past criminal history and that uber kid victims parents whom didn't follow ubers policy of not having a minor ride unaccompanied in the first place, a background check of that driver wouldve just showed he was a creeper.
Dude ran a cult of personality administration where rank and file members were fearful of his mafia- like tactics. What could he do to you?? His cronies, sycophants would harass, fair- game you until you had learned your lesson. Funny how he heads a union in Hawaii but actually lives in Las Vegas. One of the dirtiest dudes you could ever meet but smiles like the cheshire cat, allegedly.IBEW 1260 shop stewards can actually file on behalf of their members charges against either business manager with the NLRB as I did to get the feds involved. Filing complaints with headquarters IBEW is useless as that organization is also staffed with cronies and crooks.
Check the by-laws of local 1260 and I'm sure you have to be either a current or past due paying IBEW member to be on the payroll. Hiring outside people is a violation and can be addressed by the NLRB. IBEW headquarters has assigned Harold Dias (former IBEW local 1357 business manager) to oversee Local 1260, he's a crook that also hired relatives for that union.
If you want, I'll testify on your behalf about Dias reputation since we filed formal charges against him and IBEW 1357 and won that case in front of the judge, the other joker of 1260 I have not met him. But shop stewards have power since you represent members and the NLRB is aware of the corruption going on. I still have documentation of that case and it should also be on file with the NLRB. You got to stand for your rights since these crooks are getting paid by union members.

Hawaii brothel owner bribes Homeland Security agents for protection services, says her friend gets protection from HPD. Article never mentioned which massage parlor was involved or which "friend" AMP had protection paid for to HPD.
They should have been investigating HPD instead of her, but I think the cops got that covered as well?Reading this sure spooks me out. But then again certain AMPs I always felt were a little more paranoid when I visited. Hula Girl, the mama once put me in a room to the right. I sat there while I heard her ask the girls if they knew me. I'm guessing they were all looking at my face on film. Then she came back to my room and asked me if I was off duty. And I've been there before! SMH. I guess they don't pay for protection. LOL.

Of course not. Catch my drift. I did not mean it to be be advertised in those sort of places out in the public. Of course not. I meant a place to go of erotic and even if shunned by many but is a necessary evil for lack of a better word, release place but in the same low key, discreet setting if and those already know where to go. Catch my drift. ;-)
Regarding paying off HPD to stay away, as a frequent AMP visitor, I have no problem with that. I would feel much safer going to an AMP with "HPD protection. " Yeah, it's corruption, but it's rampant from top to bottom anyway. Always has been; always will be.And that is why prostitution and drugs will always be illegal in Hawaii. The cops will always testify against legalization — or just letting people do what they want with their own money between consenting adults. There's too much money to be made in perpetuating a corrupt system that lines their pockets.
That being said, what do you think's going to happen if you bump into the boys in blue if they pay your favorite AMP a visit while you're there? They'll shake you down as easily as they shake the AMPs and their girls down. "That's a nice marriage and job you got there. It'd be a shame if anyone were to find out about what you do for fun. ".
Corruption is a cancer that always spreads.

Women getting paid for a sexual act. What would Xian say?Hell, I would certainly bang the one with long black hair, lesbian or straight, pussy is pussy. I think having a lesbo as a "spare tire" is just wonderful, she can always go back to her girlfriend with female issues instead of playing quessing games and getting pissed off because us guys only want some T & A. Ha Ha.

Regarding this case, the obnoxious and oppressive policeman was merely allowed to "retire," doesn't have to pay even one penny of the taxpayer-funded settlement, wasn't disciplined in any way by HPD, and wasn't prosecuted. Par for the course.

She is one of the more popular younger asian LMTs that everyone reports legit. When she does text every couple weeks or so, I will rearrange my schedule just to see her. I would marry her, if she could be straight and monogamous.
For guys with enough cash, maybe this could be a nice opportunity? Compassionately "give back to the community" by helping a deserving young college student, avoid the anti-prostitution laws, and (most importantly) get that sweet young pussy?
Think of how proud you'll be as you watch your own personal hooker -- oops, I mean, "scholar" -- walk across the stage at graduation with her degree!
Students Seeking Sugar Daddies For Tuition, Rent
Candice Kashani (photo below) graduated from law school debt-free this spring, thanks to a modern twist on an age-old arrangement. During her first year, she faced tuition and expenses that ran nearly $50,000, even after a scholarship. So she decided to check out a dating website that connected women looking for financial help with men willing to provide it, in exchange for companionship and sex, a "sugar daddy" relationship as they are known.
Now, almost three years and several sugar daddies later, Kashani is set to graduate from Villanova University free and clear, while some of her peers are burdened with six-digit debts. As the cost of tuition and rent rises, so does the apparent popularity of such sites among students. But are they really providing financial relief, or signing women up for something more exploitative and dangerous than debt?
Kashani believes such sites are a "great resource" for young women, but others say these arrangements smack of prostitution and take advantage of women in a vulnerable situation. Lynn Comella, an associate professor of gender and sexuality studies at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, said that it is not unusual for students to turn to sex work such as stripping, prostitution or webcam work to pay for school. But the sugar daddy sites are relatively new, and she says not entirely upfront about what they are really about.
These arrangements are more vague than prostitution. There is an expectation of material benefit but it is not always specified and sex is not guaranteed. Ron Weitzer, a professor of sociology at George Washington University and a criminologist with an expertise in the sex industry describes it as "prostitution light".
"Sugar Daddy" arrangements have existed for ages, and it's unclear if they are becoming more common because the phenomenon is not well studied. But experts say at the very least the internet has made these transactions far easier to arrange and negotiate. "It allows you to hone in on what you want," said Kevin Lewis, an assistant professor of sociology at University of California San Diego, who studies online dating. "You could argue it is just making the market more efficient".
Kashani says she sifted through many potential suitors before finding one she clicked with. She says she considers her sugar daddy one of her best friends and that they care deeply for each other. "The people who have a stigma, or associate a negative connotation with it, don't understand how it works," she says.
But unlike most relationships, she is paid a sizeable monthly allowance that helps her pay for school. Undergraduate students last year finished school with an average of $35,000 in student debt. A figure that has risen steadily every year, according to Mark Kantrowitz, a financial aid expert. The average graduate debt load is $75,000, and some longer programs force students into much deeper debt.
Many students say their loans don't cover the cost of living, and with rent skyrocketing in most major cities, they are left scrambling to make up the difference. One graduate student at Columbia University in New York had a scholarship that covered almost all of her tuition, but not her living expenses. She spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the potential impact on her job prospects. She tried to make do. Sharing a room with a classmate and working a minimum wage job, plus any freelance work she could get. But still she struggled to pay her rent and utilities, and her grades suffered.
"That's just not why I am here," she said. "I wanted to find the most amount of money I could make for the least amount of effort". So she found herself surfing Craigslist and Backpage and later, Seeking Arrangement, the largest of the sugar daddy websites. Now she has two sugar daddies, one she sees occasionally and another who is more like a conventional boyfriend, except that he pays her a monthly allowance and helps rent her an apartment closer to him.
Seeking Arrangement said it is most popular in Los Angeles and New York. The average rent in both areas is well over $2,000 a month, according to Zillow research. The Columbia student says she plans to continue "sugaring" after she graduates to buy herself time to find a more traditional job and remain officially unemployed so she can defer repaying the roughly $70,000 in loans she had already racked up.
"There is a lot of moral panic about it," she said. "But what are the real estate and academic funding situations that led to this?" Brandon Wade, creator of the site, touts it as an "alternative to financial aid" but says the company did not set out to target students when it launched in 2006. It stumbled on this niche, and began in 2011 offering students a free premium membership, which usually costs $30 a month. It charges sugar daddies $70 to $180 a month, depending on the membership level.
Seeking Arrangement also offers to connect same-sex couples looking for such arrangements, or "sugar mommies" for men. But the male-female "sugar daddy" dynamic makes up the bulk of its business. It's difficult to pin down exactly how many students are involved in such situations, because they are private transactions. And it's a niche rarely studied by academics.
Seeking Arrangement says student users on the site jumped from 79,400 worldwide in 2010 to 1.9 million this year, and students make up one-third of its users. And while it sees thousands of signups on any given day, the company says enrollment jumps during August and January when tuition is typically due, sometimes to more than double its normal levels.
Women who have used the site report experiences that run the gamut. From respectful chaste dates all the way to aggressive solicitation online, even though it is forbidden on the site. Sex is not guaranteed, although most users say it is implied. The company says a few arrangements have even led to marriage, although it is rare.
Some of the women say they feel respected and cared for, but remain aware that it is an arrangement, not traditional romantic love. "It benefits me in many ways. We have a healthy relationship, we travel together, I'm able to enjoy the city more," said the New York graduate student.
Still, she said, it is a job. "It does kind of rub me the wrong way that some people don't see it as sex work," she said. Comella warns that unlike sex workers, many women doing this put their true identities online, and that could put them at risk. Seeking Arrangement runs background checks, but there have been reports of violence against both men and women stemming from sugar daddy websites.
Kristen Houser of the National Sexual Violence Resource Center says that violence is common any time money is exchanged for sex. (Any time? What an idiotic claim - Red) "You need to pay attention that there is a power imbalance," she said. Wade says there are risks inherent in any dating website. He should know; he runs several, including one that allows users to bid on dates and another focused on open relationships. He said he created Seeking Arrangement out of his own frustration with women. An MIT graduate, he had difficulty meeting women and realized a site such as this would highlight what set him apart. Money.
"Money and sex are things that people want," he said. "I think the controversy comes into play on Seeking Arrangement because we are so upfront about it".

On a different note; just want to thank you for always inquiring regarding if a provider has Bush. By you inquiring; you help me and other forum readers make informed choices whether to see a AMP provider or not. Everyone has their preferences and fetishes. So the question is; Are they really slaves? Thanks for posting the video, which I found interesting, especially how San Francisco is using warrantless, highly intrusive "health inspector" searches to harass AMPs. Maybe someday a customer subjected to "coitus interruptus" will punch that sanctimonious "health inspector" in the nose. The so-called "health inspector" seemed like a guy who later goes home to masturbate in the bathroom to photos of the AMP providers, lol.
In my opinion, the video was a classic example of anti-prostitution propaganda. Of course there have been some cases of sex slavery, but the video attempts to create the false impression that the vast majority of these AMP providers are sex slaves, when in reality they voluntarily want to make money in the world's oldest profession. Notice how many times words such as "suspected" and "believes" are used in the video, instead of presenting any real proof of sexual slavery at the AMPs that were searched.
What I found most hypocritical was how the producers of the video were clearly and repeatedly showing the faces of the purported sex slaves on camera, even though most of those women were obviously embarrassed. If the video producers truly thought those women were victims of sex slavery, and really cared about their alleged plight, humiliating them by showing their faces to the world on camera would be inexcusable and violate journalistic ethics.
By definition of a slave. No not really. They're not.African Americans, and other people that have actually been through real slavery should be offended by the use of the term used in this manner. Totally insulting.

Two gay guys can fuck on the street in san fran, but a guy want's a HE in a private room, and the moral fiber of America is going down the drain. Just look at how they are pushing for gender neutral bathrooms, but mongering is seen as vile.

Global markets are likely to fluctuate during this process.

http://money.cnn.com/data/markets2-3 years if someone has the balls to step up and spearhead it and invoke article 50 which is what makes it binding, right now it is not binding and will go no where unless someone invokes article 50 and with David Cameron stepping down I doing think nobody will want to step into a hot mess and if they do you can bet they won't push this through that's why everyone is talking about "Informal Meetings" and take it slow etc, nothing will happen, but it has and will continue to throw world markets into turmoil. This is just part of the bigger problem, the main problem is global debt and the lack of real Liquidity backed up by real tangible collateral or the lack thereof, buckle up boys we are in for a worse roller coaster than in 2008.

When do I go back in?Its going to be awhile my friend, things never got fixed in 2008 they just got pushed down the road as all central banks flooded the world economy with Fiat toilet paper to push off the inevitable "Correction" that was necessary for free markets to prosper, every asset class is in a Hyper Bubble the biggest in history, the only reason the DOW got back to 18 K is because stock buybacks fueled by cheap money, don't let the stock market fool you, the time to buy is when the DOW gets back down to 6 K or less, blood in the streets and everyone is afraid to deploy cash, that's when to buy stocks. Right now you want to be all cash and sitting on the sidelines or even better than cash is precious metals or mining shares, stay away from GLD / SLV and any other ETF they are all bullshit, own physical or in a very very reputable "Allocated" fund / trust such as Sprott up in Canada, if investing in Miners do your homework their are a lot of clowns out there but guys like Keith Newmeyer with First Majestic, Marin Katusa, Rick Rule, Doug Casey etc.. Are legit dudes, so if you want to deploy cash right now do it in precious metals if you want to do Financial equities etc. Then wait, stay the F away from Bonds I don't care what country, the bond market is going to crap and any fool investing in Bonds will get wiped out.

Then they hear good news than market goes up? Why not just not panic leave things as is and market should be stable? As I said I not sure how the market works.Their are typically 2 types of investor / trader / speculator whatever the hell you want to call yourself, Technical or Fundamental and sometimes a hybrid of both. I personally think technical analysis is a thing of the past, I mean everyone knows the saying" Garbage in, garbage out" right? Well if you rely on charts to do your investing and you are not living under a rock pile then you would know that all markets are manipulated by the bankers and if all markets are manipulated well then the charts that you use to make decision on is all garbage, so I tend to trust fundamental investing, don't believe what you hear on CNN, FOX news etc. You need to get your info from NON. Mainstream sources, the entire US media is controlled by 5-6 news organizations and these organizations are controlled by select Elites who tell them what to Pump or not pump. If you are the typical "Joe 6 pack" then you will follow the herd to the slaughter house, nobody ever learns, every cycle the same people get wiped out because they follow the herd, be a "Contrarian" think for yourself and come to your own conclusions after doing adequate research.
Knew there were still repercussions from 2008 fuck up. Didn't know the extent. 6000 seem might far but devastating.

(Here's an interesting and quite intelligent article from Honolulu Civil Beat. It supports decriminalization of consensual adult prostitution. It was written by a female university professor, and in my opinion it should be required reading for all of our state legislators.)
Should Prostitution Be Decriminalized?
There's a growing belief that until the trade is completely legal among consenting adults, sex workers will continue to be unjustifiably punished.
It seems that almost everyone has an opinion about prostitution and sex work.
But with Amnesty International's recent unflinching policy recommendation to decriminalize all adult consensual sex work, including their takedown of the Nordic model which claims to punish only clients, it is becoming increasingly difficult for naysayers to ignore the well-documented ways that sex workers are harmed by criminalization.
Amnesty's position is based on many years of empirical research by leading health and human rights researchers, as well as calls by sex workers and advocates.
While much of the debate on sex work focuses on what is best for "women," an enormous diversity of individuals trade sex at some point in their lives. This includes not just cisgender (identifying with their birth gender) women from a range of age, racial, religious, disability and sexual identities, but also transgender women, cisgender men and GLBTQ youth. Yet even when taking into account the diversity of individuals involved and the many settings in which sex is traded and policed, Amnesty studied the accumulating body of evidence and concluded: "to protect the rights of sex workers, it is necessary not only to repeal laws which criminalize the sale of sex, but also to repeal those which make the buying of sex from consenting adults or the organization of sex work (such as prohibitions on renting premises for sex work) a criminal offense".
As Amnesty explains: "Such laws force sex workers to operate covertly in ways that compromise their safety, prohibit actions that sex workers take to maximize their safety, and serve to deny sex workers support or protection from government officials. They therefore undermine a range of sex workers' human rights, including their rights to security of person, housing and health".
Will Amnesty's recommendation lead to a change in USA policies?
The answer to how USA lawmakers respond to Amnesty's call will depend in part on their level of courage to fight other institutional and cultural pressures to maintain and even increase criminal penalties for clients and other individuals connected to the sex industry. But their reactions will also depend on their own personal beliefs.
As someone who has researched and taught about sex work and human trafficking for more than two decades, I know that for some individuals, no amount of evidence or logic will change their opinion that sex work is intrinsically wrong. For them, decriminalizing any form of sex work including adult consensual encounters would send the unacceptable message that sex work is a legitimate form of income generation. And it is in this emotional territory where the decision to decriminalize or not rests.
Because of the difficulty in evaluating evidence on emotional topics, my first assignment for students in my Sex Work, Human Trafficking, and Social Justice class is to document their current reactions to the issue of sex work.
I ask students to honestly reflect on how their life experiences might shape the way they approach the issue of exchanging sexual services for pay. At the end of the course I ask students to revisit their feelings. I have found that when given the opportunity to make space for their feelings and to evaluate the best empirical evidence (such as Alexandra Lutnick's "Domestic XXXXX Sex Trafficking: Beyond Victims and Villains") most students conclude that adult consensual sex work should be decriminalized. They come to this conclusion even if they still personally do not "believe" in it.
Furthermore, students report that they understand how decriminalization can be one arm of a larger set of strategies to assist victims of structural and individual harms. These harms may include poverty, neglect, police violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
I wish that I could also give this assignment to all policymakers and anti-sex trade activists.
This includes organizations such as the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women, which described Amnesty's move toward decriminalization as a "willful and callous rejection of women's rights and equality," and Hollywood celebrities such as Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet who have joined CATW in their opposition to decriminalization. While I have previously written that "it is no longer acceptable to prioritize the opinions of celebrities over those of sex workers and the scientists who advocate for them" the belief systems underlying these opinions are still important to address.
As Barb Brents and I point out in our introduction to a special section of Sociological Perspectives on sex work and human trafficking, there has long been a serious decoupling between reliable empirical evidence and sex work policies in the USA. While there are complex historical and institutional reasons for this disconnect, the answer in part is because sex workers have long served as a trope, a symbol for other people's agendas.
Of course, sex workers have long been used as punchlines for misogynist jokes. But the symbol of the sex worker is also used by anti-prostitution activists who purportedly want to "help" them. For example, in a recent article discussing sex workers rights in The New York Times Magazine, Yasmeen Hassan, global executive director for Equality Now, expresses the following opinion about sex workers: "They're sexual objects. What does that mean for how professional women are seen? And if women are sex toys you can buy, think about the relationships between men and women, in marriage or otherwise".
In Hassan's statement and others like it coming from prohibitionists, a central "problem" of sex work is not what the best empirical evidence says, but what they believe sex workers symbolize. And when one is focused on one's own symbolic interpretation, it is difficult to listen to conflicting evidence.
Sex workers have long argued that criminalization and policing practices cause and/or exacerbate the worst harms to their well-being. Scientific evidence, as found in Amnesty's reports, confirms this.
But changing the laws requires policymakers (and to some extent, the larger public) to respect and humanize people who are currently both stigmatized and criminalized.
Sex workers have made some progress in bringing attention to the harms of criminalizing sex work policies. One example is the practice of police using the carrying of condoms as evidence of prostitution. With growing global momentum behind the sex workers rights movement, I expect many more successes to come. Yet now is also a critical time for everyday citizens both to check in with their own feelings about the issue and to read and evaluate for themselves the best available empirical evidence.
USA history is full of examples of public beliefs and norms lagging behind progressive institutional change. Examples include civil rights for African-Americans, voting rights for women and marriage rights for same-sex couples. Most individuals in the USA now believe that upholding the civil rights for those groups was the right thing to do.
Decriminalizing sex work will not on its own fix misogyny, racism and other forms of systemic oppression. But decriminalization of consensual sex work is one key step toward social and sexual justice.

It's all about debasement of the currency, which is a hidden tax via inflation, all countries are in a race to the bottom via currency wars. Hawaii has been out performing the Mainland tremendously in virtually all sectors but Hawaii always lags behind so remember that, This will be a global recession, Too much debt and derivatives, the stock market as well as most other asset classes are hyper inflated.

Hawaii has advantages and disadvantages, it all depends what you are looking at, one good thing is you just have 1 million people to contend with should it play out "Venezuela Style" and you won't have mass migration from state to state like you would on the mainland, but we are isolated in the middle of the ocean and if shipping were to come to a halt which it could very well be then we are in a world of hurt. Google Venezuela and watch the videos of what's happening there right now, this was once the 9th richest nation on the planet and they have abundant resources and they people are starving and killing dogs and cats to stay alive as we speak, this is what happen when society breaks down, for all you who want Bernie sanders and his Socialistic bullshit that's what will become and hillary will take us straight to war.

Anyone worth his\her weight in Intellect knows very well that legalizing sex work would have a tremendous positive effect on the economy as well as safety of everyone involved in the activity. This is how it will be in Hawaii when they decriminalize sex:
It's 2020 and prostitution has just been decriminalized in Hawaii. The Relaxation Control Board has issued three licenses for relaxation services on Oahu and one each on Kauai, Maui, Hawaii. No local mama sans could get a license because the burden was just too much. $100,000 non returnable application fee and proof of $1 mill in operating funds. All of slots were given to outsiders.
Some rules: No table showers, no food on premises. Operating hours daytime only and never on Sunday. Girls as well as mongers must register with the board and show proof of health checks. All mongers must show registration card at the door. Prices are set by the board and no tipping allowed. No cash transactions.
To get a card, a monger must prove he is single, std and drug free. This card costs $200 and must be renewed annually.

Cool story bro.
Even if this happened, there's still a lot of money on the table for guys who don't have your hypothetical card. Married men make up most of any working girl's clientele. Never mind the women who just want to make some side money who don't want to be taxed or who don't want to pay the fees associated with "being legit".
The police union won't let it fly. Too many cops are getting greased from the MPs. And the state has its head too far up its ass to do anything this progressive, especially if you're talking about a timeframe of four years from now. The year 2300 maybe.
Finally, the state of Hawaii loves sticking it nose where it doesn't belong, like making gun owners submit their names to a criminal database (never mind about the BS gun laws here to begin with). I don't know about you, but what I do with my money and who I give that money to is my business, not the government, even if it makes me a "legit" monger.
Sex is not a crime. What two consenting adults do, and if money changes hands is their business. The government has no right being involved in that transaction or to regulate that transaction.

Hawaii Gov. David Ige signs a bill banning sex trafficking as members of the Hawaii Women's Legislative Caucus applaud on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, in Honolulu. Hawaii became the last state in the nation to explicitly ban sex trafficking.
.
Hawaii has become the last state in the nation to explicitly ban sex trafficking.
Gov. David Ige signed the bill into law Tuesday. It makes sex trafficking a violent crime and class A felony, expands the statewide witness protection program to include sex trafficking and provides victims access to criminal injury compensation.
"It's a historic day for Hawaii. Now, from sea to sea, the United States can say it banned sexual slavery," said Kris Coffield, executive director of Imua Alliance, which works with sex trafficking victims. "The most direct benefit for victims is that now, instead of being criminalized and put in a jail cell, and facing prosecution, they'll be placed in a support services network and treated as victims of violent crimes instead of accomplices to their own exploitation. ".
Before Ige signed the bill, Hawaii was the only state in the nation without a law that specifically banned sex trafficking. Human trafficking was banned, but people paid for sex work could be prosecuted under the law, regardless of how they got into the sex trade.
Advocates have been pushing for a ban for more than a decade. Last year, Ige vetoed a similar bill after prosecutors said it would make it more difficult to catch the perpetrators.
"Victims who come forward will have more protections, more ability to be protected from being forced to testify," said Kathryn Xian, executive director of Pacific Alliance to Stop Slavery, who has been pushing the bill for a decade. "Sometimes it's very dangerous. ".
Ige also signed a bill that provides funds for law enforcement agencies to test untested sex assault evidence kits. The Honolulu Police Department had about 1,500 rape kits that had not been tested earlier this year.
With the passage of the bill, victims of sex assault will see that "their experiences matter, that they should be treated with dignity and respect, and that's something that's reflected in the law, that they can't be put on a shelf to collect dust," said Cathy Betts, executive director of the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women.
And no woman ever prostituted in Hawaii ever again.
So what happens when a woman doesn't have a pimp and willingly enters the sex trade willingly and with full knowledge of the situation?
Are they going to arrest her for trafficking herself and offer her all those social workers to get out?

What I've never understood about Hawaii is how most of the population goes along with whatever the government tells them.
Hey, let's build a rail system! Ok, why not?
Hey, let's put gun owners on the same database criminals are! Sure, why not?
Let's pass a sex trafficking bill, despite the fact that all those studies have been debunked. Well, every other state has one, so.
I'm not a Republican, but the lack of interest in questioning the government on even the most basic level drives me nuts.
While you're at it, why not include the address as well. Wait a minute. Isn't there such a registration now required for sex offenders? Hmmm.

If you conider 31 cases in Hawaii an outbreak, according to HNN, State health officials say there is a sudden outbreak of Hepatitis hitting our State.
One of the ways you can hepatitis is through sexual contact. Hepatitis is not normally deadly, but it may leave you out of action for an extended period of time. Be safe braddahs and be careful what you do and with whom.

So what happens when a woman doesn't have a pimp and willingly enters the sex trade willingly and with full knowledge of the situation?
Are they going to arrest her for trafficking herself and offer her all those social workers to get out?I haven't read the actual language of the new law, but what I'm wondering is if it will result in stronger penalties against any monger who is busted while being with a working girl.
I believe in some states, busted mongers have to register as "sex offenders".
I do know some cities and states have instituted asset forfeiture laws — so the cops can seize any cash on you and seize your car, regardless if you're guilty or not guilty. You know, never mind about due process or the fourth amendment, because the boogeyman of sex trafficking trumps the Constitution.
If you want either back, it's an expensive process that makes defense attorneys very happy in the way of billing.
I haven't read the actual language of the new law, but what I'm wondering is if it will result in stronger penalties against any monger who is busted while being with a working girl.
Agreed.
I'm not saying that anyone should monger safe or do it bare, because we're all adults here.
But for the time being, it might be a good time to wrap it up — or consider taking a short vacation.

I haven't read the actual language of the new law, but what I'm wondering is if it will result in stronger penalties against any monger who is busted while being with a working girl.Yes, in some instances. Here's an example that involves only adults. Simply paying, or offering or agreeing to pay, a fee to engage in sexual conduct with an adult has usually been a petty misdemeanor in Hawaii. Pursuant to the new law, however, if the adult "is a victim of sex trafficking," the offense becomes a class C felony, punishable by up to five years of imprisonment and up to a $10,000 fine. The customer or potential customer doesn't need to know for sure that the adult provider is a victim of sex trafficking, because the new law says that even "reckless disregard of the fact that the other person is a victim of sex trafficking" is sufficient. An adult provider is considered a victim of sex trafficking if the provider was compelled or induced by a pimp, so-called boyfriend, or anyone else "by force, threat, fraud, or intimidation to engage in prostitution". So in light of the new law, mongers should be extra careful that a provider isn't being compelled or induced by anyone, by force, threat, fraud or intimidation, to engage in prostitution. The law also provides that a victim of sex trafficking can file a civil lawsuit against someone who "hired, or attempted to hire the individual to engage in prostitution, when a reasonable person would believe that the individual was coerced into prostitution by another person or was being subjected to sex trafficking".

http://m.hawaiinewsnow.com/hawaiinewsnow/db/330510/content/tq6JpKyPIt's really Hepatitis B and C that you really have to watch out for. Hep A usually spread by ingestion of food contaminated by an infected person (from feces). Hep A usually will resolve in most people after time. Of course it won't be a pleasant time. But Hep B and C are far more serious. Hep B can be sexually transmitted and by blood. Hep C by blood.
Simple to prevent Hep A and B. Just get vaccinated. It's a good idea at least for Hep A vaccination if you travel out of country.

I think trusted AMPs are ok but I would be skeptical of independents.Yes, but there are some relaxation businesses that sometimes have one or more American-born providers who may be pimped.
Another noteworthy aspect of the law is that it includes incentives for a provider to claim to LE that she's a sex trafficking victim (such as freedom from criminal conviction, a witness protection program, and potential cash from a civil lawsuit). It seems relatively easy for a provider to claim -- after she's caught -- that she was "induced" by someone through "intimidation" to engage in prostitution.

And no woman ever prostituted in Hawaii ever again.
So what happens when a woman doesn't have a pimp and willingly enters the sex trade willingly and with full knowledge of the situation?
Are they going to arrest her for trafficking herself and offer her all those social workers to get out? There is a fine line with this issue. If the two parties agree to a set fee for "companionship" all is okay but if a sexual act is done then the provider ask for money "after the sexual act" it could be taken as racketeering which become a Class C felony charge. Prostitution in its self is a misdemeanor charge.
(Although much more research and testing will be needed, it seems that there might eventually be a potential cure for those mongers and providers who suffer from the effects of herpes.)
Gene-editing shows promise against herpes.
Nearly everyone carries one version or another of the herpes virus. A recent study suggests that the new gene-editing technology known as CRISPR/Cas9 may be able to eliminate this ever-present virus, or at least suppress it.
"At this point, there is no cure for the herpes virus infection. Once infected, you're infected for life," said Robert Jan Lebbink, co-author of the study and a molecular biologist at University Medical Center in Utrecht, Netherlands.
The virus develops a latent stage, in which it lies dormant in an infected cell without reproducing. Because our immune systems cannot recognize latent infections, we cannot clear them from our bodies.
Occasionally, though, these viruses will wake and reproduce, spreading the virus to other cells or other people. The new research, published in the journal PLOS Pathogens, explores a new approach to stopping this sometimes deadly virus.
Herpes comes in more than a hundred strains, though only eight routinely infect humans. Herpes simplex virus type 1 causes cold sores, while herpes simplex type 2 is responsible for genital herpes. Human cytomegalovirus can cause birth defects if transmitted from mother to fetus. Epstein-Barr virus, another version, can cause mononucleosis or even cancer.
All told, herpes viruses may result in cold sores, corneal infections, shingles, genital sores, the "kissing disease," and tumors.
Any of the drugs currently used to treat herpes addresses the symptoms but does not destroy the virus itself. This is why any sores or infections may return repeatedly throughout our lives.
CRISPR-Cas9 is gene-editing technology that is based on a natural system used by bacteria to protect themselves from viruses. Because CRISPR/Cas9 can target double-stranded DNA such as the herpes virus, Lebbink and his colleagues decided to put the two together in a death match.
"Can we design CRISPRs that specifically target the genome of these viruses in infected cells?," Lebbink asked. By cutting the viruses to pieces or mutating regions of their genomes, he figured, virus replication would be blocked, or better yet, the virus might be cleared from infected cells altogether.
When attacked by a virus, bacteria produce two types of short RNA, one of which corresponds exactly to stretches of code within the virus' DNA. These two RNA then join with a protein called Cas9. The RNA with identical code spots the same stretch within the viral genome, and Cas9 snips it, effectively disabling the virus.
For his own study, Lebbink and his co-authors targeted just three types of herpes viruses: herpes simplex type 1, human cytomegalovirus and Epstein-Barr.
The experiments showed that CRISPR/Cas9 could severely block virus replication for herpes simplex and human cytomegalovirus. The results for Epstein-Barr were even more dramatic.
"Also, for Epstein-Barr, a herpes virus that in some cases causes cancer, we were even able to remove the virus from infected tumor cells, essentially curing the cells from their invader," Lebbink said.
Though dramatic, all of these experiments were done on monkey and human cells in a mere petri dish; none was performed on live animals or live humans. So, while it appears the CRISPR/Cas9 system may be very effective in rooting out herpes, Lebbink explained that much more research is needed.
First, animal studies need to be done, and human tests would follow. Still, he is hopeful the science will profoundly influence health care.
"Scientists now have a very powerful tool to make specific edits at almost any site in the human genome, remove genes, introduce genes, alter cancer-causing genes, repair genetic defects, etc."

I mean let's face it, if someone is forced into this buisness unwillingly and we know it but yet still continue on and support slavery by seeing her again, we should be punished. There's my part in ending slavery. Here's the part that worries me, "a reasonable person", " a reckless disregard of the facts", if I have an outcall and a car pulls up to my place and she gets dropped off, I see this of course, would that be reckless disregard? There is a big gray area here, subect for interpretation, especially if, one is, in the first place already trying to mind his own buisness, with the knowldege that one little fact revealed could jepordize the whole deed. Even if a person has a "handler or driver, ect. ", in the eyes of the law (of course, I've already considered it could be slavery, according to my eyes, and thus avoid those providers) then does this automatically mean slavery? I know the rules have changed and so should I.

", in the eyes of the law (of course, I've already considered it could be slavery, according to my eyes, and thus avoid those providers) then does this automatically mean slavery? I know the rules have changed and so should I.There are two types of potential problems in my opinion. First, as you've recognized, the law contains key terms that are vague and can easily be open to differing interpretations depending on each person's viewpoint. For example, "reasonable," "reckless disregard," "inducing," and "intimidation". A police officer or prosecutor -- especially those who dislike prostitution regardless of whether sex trafficking is involved -- could interpret some factual situations to fit those terms when the typical monger would not. Second, as I previously noted, the law creates strong incentives for providers to claim -- after they are caught -- that they were victims of sex trafficking. Many providers are proficient liars anyway, so some purported victims of sex trafficking may not be genuine victims. To be clear, I'm definitely not saying that the law is all bad, but rather just that I foresee problems with its "real life" application in some instances.
So, what were some of you gentlemen saying about the now record high stock market?

For what this is worth, unless anyone here on the forum line is a financial advisor (legit C. F. P. Degree) or is an accountant / CPA who see this stuff all the time, everything opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. Historically, going back to the Great Depression coming forward, the Stock Market (the total market, not just the Dow or the SnP) has always risen and fallen; the thing to note about this is that the rises have always been greater than the falls and thus, the reason everyone thinks the market is a good place to make money.
On that note, everything Awabi has said is true, but in this day and age of instant gratification because of computers and speed of data, the average "Joe" investor will always be at a disadvantage. Viper says it best. If you are young, invest as much as you can and leave it there. Over time, your investment will make money. If you are older, play things wisely and look for safe companies and use all the ratios and information to invest.
The thing to remember is if you are in for the "quick, get rich" scheme, you better have some inside info or be ready to lose it all (or win it all, if you time it right).

Two additional questions
1. Did somebody make you a mod while I wasn't looking?
2. Is telling guys to stick to the subject of the thread within the actual subject of the thread? Was there recently a news or media report in Honolulu about "sticking to the subject of the thread on the USASG?"
I didn't think so,

PS You're going to want to respond, I know how you are. Being right or wrong will have no bearing on your desire to respond, you feel challenged right now and you're Hawaiian so you're going to want to fight. Maybe you could kick my ass in reality (you wouldn't be the first) but on this forum I will own you. If you MUST respond, take it to the fight thread or you won't like the outcome.

This STD could get a lot harder to treat.
For patients with gonorrhea, a two-drug antibiotic punch is the usual recommended treatment, but new research found the sexually transmitted infection is less vulnerable to one of these drugs: azithromycin.
Because the bacteria causing gonorrhea are already resistant to penicillin, tetracycline and fluoroquinolones, scientists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention worry that the sexually transmitted infection may outsmart another antibiotic. Left untreated, gonorrhea can cause serious health problems, including pelvic inflammatory disease in women (which may lead to infertility) and a painful condition in the tubes attached to the testicles in men (which may lead to sterility).
"So far we've had no treatment failures in the United States," said Dr. Jonathan Mermin, the director of CDC's National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention. The center's treatment recommendation continues to be an oral dose of azithromycin combined with a single shot of ceftriaxone.
The CDC has been monitoring the threat of antibiotic resistance since 1986, Mermin explained. Listening to the "chatter" is a matter of the CDC collecting bacterial samples from 25 men each month. Then, the CDC conducts laboratory tests to see how weak the bacteria are in comparison to the various antibiotic drugs intended to destroy them.
Between 2013 and 2014, the CDC discovered the percentage of bacteria fighting against the drug azithromycin increased by more than 400%. These results, published Thursday in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, indicate that gonorrhea is in the earliest stages of resisting the antibiotic.
Still, the numbers are small. Thousands of bacteria samples were collected in 2014 but only 2.5% showed resistance to azithromycin in 2014, compared to 0.6% in 2013.
The CDC also has been monitoring resistance to cephalosporins, the class of antibiotics that includes ceftriaxone, the other key drug currently recommended for treatment. These, too, have begun to demonstrate early warning signs of possible ineffectiveness, said Mermin, with a recent study conducted in England and Wales suggesting the same.
When will these drugs stop working?
"We can't predict that," said Mermin. "The speed of development of resistance is unpredictable".
Following the development of antimicrobial agents in the first half of the 20th century, scientists believed these drugs would end, once and for all, infectious diseases caused by bacteria. That, however, never happened for a simple reason: resistance. Over time, bacteria adapt to the strong drugs intended to kill them and eventually mutate or acquire genes capable of interfering with -- or even destroying -- the antibiotic itself. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, the bacteria that causes gonorrhea, is following this familiar narrative of adapting in order to survive.
A growing threat of potentially untreatable gonorrhea, combined with increasing rates of disease, makes it more important than ever to prevent new infections, Mermin said.
When it comes to gonorrhea -- and all STDs -- there are two basic methods of reducing the risk of infection, he explained. Treat immediately and effectively with the recommended antibiotics to limit the spread of infection from person to person, and work to prevent gonorrhea and other STDs. The CDC recommends being in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner and using latex condoms.
The numbers he quoted are striking: After being on the decline for several years, total reported cases of gonorrhea increased to more than 350,000 in 2014. Yet, the CDC estimates more than 800,000 gonorrhea infections occur each year, with less than half diagnosed. The reason? Most men and women do not show any symptoms, only some experience a burning sensation while peeing, or green or whitish discharge.
In the end, Mermin said, we need to acknowledge the ability to cure people with antibiotics will fade over time. We must deal with that, he said.
"By preventing gonorrhea," he said, "we can also prevent resistant gonorrhea".
I'm in the construction industry here in Hawaii. Everyone seems to be working, jobs are plentiful, and my company has just hired a few newbies. Even small construction companies are looking for workers. Just look at all the tower cranes and recent ground breakings in town. Then I'm hearing all of the future high rise developments that's in the planning stages around Honolulu. So I think many people here in Hawaii think the economy is great, especially since the mainstream news keep reporting all time highs in the stock market. But doesn't Hawaii lag the mainland concerning the economy?Downtown within 10-20 years. Castle and Cook with 12-15 thousand new homes in Koa Ridge and Shuller with 20 thousand in Kapolei (ground breaking for both to be within 2 years). Only one way for all that construction material to come Hawaii, by boat. Just bought some more of Matson on the recent dip. Good times to be working for Stevedores.
Can someone shed light on how safe this is? I'm a monger who rather have my dick drained by a provider being sucked off instead of the norm. Don't get me wrong I do like the ground and pound but nothing beats being drained BB. But I always wonder how many dicks have been drained in that mouth too. And how safe it is for me or how risky it is to catch something. You figure a busy provider has a customer who leaves right before you and in 5 minutes your dick is in that same mouth. I know I won't stop doing it cause I'm a horny fucker but was hoping to get more info on this topic of catching an STD.

http://smartsexresource.com/sites/default/files/Oral-Sex-Table-v3.pngWow. No shit. All those STDs can be transferred with a BBBJ. Shit. What a dilemma for someone like me who likes that BBBJ. I guess we can't be naive about this game we play. Hundreds of dicks go into their mouths if you think about it and the older seasoned providers who want to keep their customers must push the envelope and at the same time us horny fuckers are more at risk because of this too. What a sad day LOL. Thanks for the Info Rico Suave808.
All right, Forrest Gump!!LVS APPLE. Dividend paying stocks. With positive outlook. Next Facebook.

I'm single and don't have to worry about the SO or anything like that. I guess I should do more homework on what those STDs actually are. I would hate to curb my hobby because of this. I really didn't know that you could catch so many STDs from a BBBJ. I've been visiting some providers who do provide this service but really thought about things when my dick started to burn a little. Dam it.

I've heard that one of the latest ways LE wants to crackdown on the Hobby is to have hotel staff take pictures of the inside of their rooms, for LE to compare them to pictures escorts take of themselves for their online ads.
http://www.vocativ.com/332869/trafficking-app/
While this may seem like a good idea, it actually isn't. Girls coming here from the mainland will usually take pictures inside their homes or in whatever hotel they are using at the time. So, unless you're going to have a database filled with pictures of the inside of the tens of thousands of hotels in the country, it's rather pointless. Besides, if a girl is pimped, the pimp will use his own home to take pix in. Besides, hotel chains usually setup the interiors of their rooms to all look the same, regardless of the location.
Like much of the Industry, LE and people like Xian could have shutdown lots of AMPs already, using tools they already have. I know this because I've already seen it done to shutdown AMPs here already. I'm not going into specifics, because I'm not going to put it out there. But, they're using smoke and mirrors instead to keep people thinking that something is being done.
Now that Malia Obama is eighteen years old, she can be discussed on this forum. Personally, I think that she's quite sexy, especially at a lovely six feet/one inch in height. Although I know that I'll never be with her, at least I can close my eyes and fantasize about her when I'm having sex with other women. I've seen news photos of her with her mouth wide open, and thought about how well she might perform fellatio, and I've seen news photos of her in clothing that accentuates her breasts, and imagined how nice they must look and feel. Recently, I happened to see a video of Malia stage dancing at the Lollapalooza music festival. While smiling and laughing, she sticks out her teenage tongue and spontaneously pulls up her dress to expose her beautiful brown booty to everyone. Yeah!
Will she become a sexual inferno when she meets the right guy? Presumably she's still a virgin, because her parents are reportedly strict and she's under continual Secret Service supervision. However, after daddy is replaced on January 20 (either by the old witch or the egomaniac), Malia won't be supervised by the Secret Service anymore. Who will be the first man to carnally enjoy this pampered princess? Some rich "preppy" student at Harvard (where she's going to attend college), or a charming and handsome professor, or maybe some sleazy "bad boy" rapper? Well, it surely won't be some pathetic old fat guy, but at least I can daydream about it, lol.
Red, you "dirty old man," sometimes you're disgusting.Yes, I know (smile).

The original number of arrests was lower, but then revised to 204. It's interesting that they managed to keep a fake parlor open for 10 days without word getting out about the operation. I feel like word would travel so fast on the first day in Hawaii.
From the article: "The men his unit has arrested over the past week and a half have come from all walks of life, he said. Two bus drivers, six architects, dozens of technology employees, construction workers, two surgeons, a dentist, a nurse, a journalist, a couple of attorneys, an executive with a sports-management company and an aspiring law- enforcement officer are among the customers who’ve been caught up in the police sting, according to Umporowicz."
And this part is funny to me - no Asian women, 6th sense kicked in, time to gtfo:
"Over the course of the operation, several men walked out, either because they were looking for legitimate massages or because they were disappointed there werent any Asian women working there, according to Umporowicz and a veteran UC who the units detectives refer to as the vice queen."

Its only a matter of time before Hawaii starts a major crackdown. With the passage of that new law by Ige its inevitable. Now. The penalties for an owner and provider are much more serious. You are looking at human trafficking amongst other things. It will be a sad day when this happens but hopefully they will give us mongers a break. The powers to be seem to believe that all these providers are oppressed under age and held against their will which is totally untrue. They provide as a means for survival. Sending money back to korea or providing for their families. A lot of you would be surprised to know that your popular provider is probably married and has kids. I know of a few really popular ones that are married and have kids LOL. I'm not going to burst anyones bubble on this tho nor disclose this because I probably would get banned. Anyway there is no telling when a bust would happen but hope for the best and its all in the game.
I would really want to see one here in Honolulu. Most of our own on the force would be arrested and posted pictures on the Star Advertiser the very next morning. That made me laugh. The only AMPs that get raided are the ones that aren't kicking up to the swine. True here and I'm sure it's true in Seattle.
I'm willing to bet this opreration killed two birds with one stone: put the word out on the street that of you aren't paying off your local boy in blue, you better start. And that the cops were "doing something" about the "problem" of prostituion.
This assault on the AMPs by the powers-that-be in Seattle surprises me since I was under the impression Seattle is one of the more socially progressive cities in the United States. This has nothing to do with the prevailing politics of a city. This has everything to do with money. If something is illegal, it can be shaken down by organized crime and by the cops. I'm willing to bet a whole lot more money was seized than what was reported in the news report.
It is in the interest of law enforcement to make as many things as possible illegal. "The war on drugs" = federal grant money. "Human trafficking" = federal grant money. That's aboveboard, legitimate finding police agencies receive for playing ball with those "crimes". That's not counting the shakedown and protection money (or drugs and pussy) the cops on the street receive.
Thanks for sharing that article, Hawaii has also reached a peak on real estate values ask any realtor worth his or her weight and they will tell you the market has peaked and is in reversal mode.Interesting that First Hawaiian Bank had their IPO recently.

Was kind of strange at first, but after a few run ins, it was like seeing a neighbor and her family. The next time we would get it on, it made it seem more exciting actually. And, basically taking down the korean houses to non-existent.
Interesting that First Hawaiian Bank had their IPO recently.Yes it is interesting, since there's so many people saying that the economy is going to collapse very soon. They're also backing it statistics, graphs and charts that say the same thing economically that we are headed toward a major apocalyptic event. And yet here in Honolulu I'm still hearing of all these new high rise developments that are going to start soon along with the current ones. Especially around Ala Moana, the dumb rail destination, and Ward Ave there's already couple temporary boarded off blocks that are going to be developed. They're spending some bucks just in the planning stages.
When all these buildings are complete and occupied in Kakaako and Ala Moana there's going to be 1000's more people congesting that area. Now when the economy crashes here in Hawaii, then what?
On the plus side if there all there's more people in Honolulu, maybe more massage places and MPs?

But even if the condo market collapses here, it won't mean anything for most people. Those units will still be priced out of reach for snyone with a nine to five. Half the price of those condos in One Ala Moana is still pretty goddamn expensive.

Half the price of those condos in One Ala Moana is still pretty goddamn expensive.I've been just assuming those pricey condos going up in town aren't being built with the USA Market in mind anyway, but instead for the new rich in China and oil-rich Arabs, and maybe for Latin American cocaine cartels; international wheeler-dealers, the golden rule; those who are raking in the gold and the new ruler oligarchs on this planet in the 21st century. In the same way that us haoles came, took over, and forever altered the demographic here in the Hawaiian Islands, bringing in plantation workers from Japan, Portugal, Philipines, etc, now these international super-rich new-rich will become the latest and greatest demographic flooding into those astronomically-priced condos. So even if our economy tanks, doesn't matter to those guys at all because the money is all in their pockets now. We local residents, haole, Hawaiian, local Japanese, Chinese, poi-dog, etc, are fast to become the future underclass here in Hawaii. Am I wrong in my prognostication?

Half the price of those condos in One Ala Moana is still pretty goddamn expensive.Whatever. All I know is an IPO from a financial revenue company based in Hawaii is a HUGE lift on the market sentiment here!!
On the plus side if there all there's more people in Honolulu, maybe more massage places and MPs?If the trend is to turn everything into condos, it would mean less space for low-rent operations. The complex Orchid and China Doll is in on Atkinson / Kona has been eyed as a potential lot for redevelopment as a condo tower, for example. End result — rents go up, your house fees go up and your girls are going to demand more in tips. (Something to consider when people are going on about how great the real estate market is.).
Besides, the super-wealthy don't care about AMPs. They'll have their own girls from high end agencies coming into town or they'll fly them in themselves. Or they'll have their own arrangements with sugar babies or mistresses. They aren't and won't be interested in a Chinese FOB from a hick provence that can barely speak English.
Whatever. All I know is an IPO from a financial revenue company based in Hawaii is a HUGE lift on the market sentiment here!!The overall business climate here is regarded as the worst in the country. If there's one thing you can count on, it's that Hawaii consistently comes in last all the time. I think improving that would do more than any IPO to improve "market sentiment".
That being said, the dominant players in US banking — Chase and Bank of Amerca — won't set up operations here because of the time difference, the minuscule size of the market and expense in operating here (BoA found that out first hand in the '90's when they did open up here). HSBC just doesn't see why Hawaii would be compelling to its international clientele. (See http://money.cnn.com/2012/11/28/pf/banks-hawaii/index.html) it's a shame, because I like my Chase account and between them and BoA, they've introduced some real innovations in ATMs that are just starting to make their way to Hawaii banks.

Am I wrong in my prognostication? The power dynamic in Hawaii's always been top-down. Chief and commoner. Plantation owner and contract worker. Missionary and everyone else. It's never been egalitarian. Money's always been a means to keep people here in their place. There isn't the same kind of economic mobility here you see on the mainland. I don't understand the call for "sovereignty" when no local is going to be able to afford to live here in 50 years.

Did anyone get IPO shares of first Hawaiian Bank? I've had a long (20+ years) with my personal banker / financial advisor at the. I do all my business and personal finance there and referred friends and family to him. When I asked him about getting shares of fhb from him he said that it would be difficult and may not be a good fit for my financial plan. I thought WTF. The executive and big shots there are getting shares why shouldn't I? I bet he even got shares but I didn't want to push it. I did get a few shares of Territorial bank when it went IPO and made serious kala.
Almost feels like having a friendship with a KB / AMP girl and then only to realize they were only friends with your wallet.

Almost feels like having a friendship with a KB / AMP girl and then only to realize they were only friends with your wallet.I would look at it another way brotha, you are lucky you didn't slap some money down for shares in FHB, don't get me wrong FHB is a decent bank but right now is the absolute worst time to be buying bank shares, look at what's happened to the banks in europe and continues to happen they are being decimated one by one, in america it hasn't happened yet so bank shares are ay their peak, bad time to be buying so I would consider yourself lucky.

Yep. Someone at BancWest or BNP Paribas (FHB's parent companies in California and France) probably decided they should raise some capital while the going's good. Also, the only way to get in on an IPO at the opening share price is to be a huge institutional investor like a mutual fund or a pension fund. The share price usually goes up from the initial offering price, then settles below it and takes a while to stabilize. So you're a sucker (usually) if you get in early.
But if you absolutely feel buy into a bank, why are you looking at FHB? They have no prospects of expansion, and Wall Street loves and rewards companies that expand. They can't move into the mainland, because it's pretty much all Chase and BoA and those are the two banks you should be buying if you feel that need. Maybe HSBC because they're the most recognizable global bank. Or Goldman Sachs because they own everything. But yeah. Banks are probably on the way down.
The argument would be.
The police know what's going on, we've seen the videos, there is a market demand which reflects in the supply.
Unnecessary risk due to NO regulations and testing and the Hardest hit are the working ladies whom are in a vulnerable position.
Solution is Hawaii's own Red light District aka Adult Entertainment District.
There are a few legitimate groups voicing this position and of course groups opposed.
Gambling in Hawaii.
To some degree, online poker or a off-shore ferry type establishment. Isure, how to regulate it to prevent organized crime needs to be worked out. Playing a couple hands at the black jack table or throwing dice should solicit way more visitors.
Is this a smart guy? Maybe we can learn something for this guy. If you have gotten taken. Probably most of us aren't at his level but guest he got ripped off one time to many times or was it 3. 7 mil.

Hopefully this "businessman" is less gullible in his other business dealings.
In the Australian state where he filed the lawsuit (New South Wales), it seems that consensual adult prostitution is generally lawful (with some exceptions). If such a lawsuit were filed by a monger in Hawaii, by contrast, the monger would be publicly confessing to a crime.

If you look at the legal bothers in Nevada, everything is covered. Not even sure if kissing is legal under the health code. So there goes GFE and forget about PSE / BB-anything. The brothel takes half of what they make. Then they have to pay for room and board and any expenses. This is the legal system that's in place, and it's illegal to be an indie in this system.
And the sad, cold truth is, no one at the government level cares about the ladies. They're political tokens of convenience. Anti-trafficking advocates use them as stats to get grants, the cops arrest them when it's convenient to get their arrest numbers up. There's no upside in helping them be providers, from a political standpoint.
Finally, what makes you think the cops want these activities to be legal? As I've pointed out before, police departments make money from anti-trafficking grants and grants to combat "organized crime" which gambling would be lumped into. Keeping these activities illegal is a literal moneymaker. And that's not even getting into the potential for graft and bribery at the beat level.
So why, exactly, do you believe any of those is going to happen in the world we live in?

Have you ever asked what the rates were in the Reno brothels? Prices are high because now you are covering, taxes, fees, medical costs, and fees for use of these brothels.
Decriminalizing may be a better route. Legalization and regulating the industry is only good for the permitting agency and maybe the owners of the brothels.
