Grounds for termination of the lease include non-payment of rent or other serious or repeated violation of the lease; crime that threatens health, safety or quiet enjoyment of other tenants in the building; drug-related activity on or nearby the complex, or other good cause. Eviction or termination of lease is one legal process so may incur shat that going take time under federal and state public housing guidelines. Not that easy to evict and they know it; that's why they do all kine crap. Please correct if wrong.
One more thing about Section 8 or public housing tenants: they no appreciate their Hawaii assistance, housing, and environment. On the mainland you'll find Section 8 housing (not ghettos) in every good conditions with tenants that behave themselves for the most part because they're afraid to get evicted to the streets: extreme winter and summer weather conditions, crimes, hate crimes, unemployment, mediocre welfare, etc. The Hawaii welfare guys lucky this not like parts of the mainland where, beginning like in Nuuanu, they set you on fire or slay you 'just because.'

Do you know I can get $300 to $500 more in rent each unit I own in Ala Wai? All my 10 something units are in an uninhabitable condition. I never fix any thing for section 8 tenants but enjoy the extra income. Especially one of my tenants I get from catholic church does not even get to use restroom. Yea I never pay to fix his toilet plumbing. The tenant has to pack his feces and dump somewhere. I look like a philanthropist outside but I am actually abusing my tenant with his basic need. I don't care. They are afraid to report. I just have some low quality maintenance / managing team on drug and past criminal record in the office and completely control the manager because that kind of people easier for me to control and manipulate.
If other non section 8 tenant owner goes against my penny and dime ruling in the building, I just use my maintenance manager and harass and give anxiety attack. I have him accuse the innocent tenant for things they didn't do for example plumbing leaking or shut their water off make their toilet overflow or infestate their units from insects from section 8 tenant. I can easily make other owners and tenant die from depression and stress if I want to and get away with it LOL I always have things my way because I'm phucking rich. I can care less about my tenants' rights and all I want is more rental income from the government. I will find all the loopholes and abuse the system as much as I could.

There are already so many guns in the USA That it should be clear that prohibiting trained law-abiding citizens from carrying just makes no sense. The crazy part is the "super conservative" states often have little rules on gun control, which in-turn makes "super liberal" states have strict rules as each side cries foul on the other. If politicians would quit playing politics on the issue I'm sure there is a commonsense middle ground where people would accept moderate training requirements and gun control in exchange for a nationally accredited CCW. Right now no one wants to meet in the middle. An estimated 1 in 7 of adults legally own guns in Hawaii, yet none can legally carry 24/7 without being law enforcement.

A federal jury convicted a Milwaukee man Thursday of sex trafficking in at least seven states including Hawaii.
The jury found CXXXXX FXXXXXX guilty of 14 counts, which included sex trafficking and other offenses.
According to evidence presented at trial, FXXXXXX used force to coerce female victims to engage in commercial sex acts in cities across the country, including Milwaukee, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Miami, as well as in parts of Southern California and Hawaii.
Authorities said FXXXXXX brought the victims to Hawaii in August 2015 to celebrate his birthday, and demanded they work for him during the trip.
Officials said he "demanded that they work the local bars and clubs all night, soliciting commercial sex dates and stealing luxury watches from their johns or tricks".
Victims testified that FXXXXXX kept and controlled all of the money they made, whipped them with belts, threatened them with guns, and subjected them to dehumanizing punishments, such as forcible sodomy and smearing human feces in one victim's face when she failed to comply with his demands.
The evidence also showed that FXXXXXX repeatedly urged victims and witnesses not to speak to federal agents or to comply with court orders.
He faces a maximum life term of imprisonment and a mandatory minimum of 15 years of imprisonment.
FXXXXXX is scheduled to be sentenced in October.

I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to come down to several basic principles we see in the legal system.
Normally, a person has a "reasonable expectation of privacy". However, in the operation of a business where the govt has an interest in public safety or curtailing of crime, the business owners privacy may be violated if there is an preexisting statute the business owner must accept to satisfy the governments interests in public safety or curtailing of crime. Essentially, the ruling equates the "inspection" of a massage business to, say, a restaurant or food processing plant, for which, they do not need a warrant. What I don't understand, and perhaps an attorney can answer this, is how an individuals expectations of privacy come into play. For example, if I'm a customer and eating in a restaurant, and a food inspector comes in, they can't "search" me simply because I happened to be in the restaurant. If the same search were to occur at an AMP, they are essentially "searching" me if they barge into the room when I'm naked. How does the law balance this?

Doing so will only result in better evidence (and a conviction) against you. All you need to do is refuse all the tests.
In court, the state will claim they have probable cause to believe you were DUI. The only evidence they will likely have is the officer (s) testimony, which won't be enough against even the most mediocre attorney. All the attorney needs to do is show any reasonable explanation for "red eyes", "slurred speech", "odor of alcohol" and perhaps "swerving". Contact lenses, legally prescribed drugs, windshield washer fluid, and shitty roads. Case dismissed.
Worst case scenario, since Hawaii is an implied consent state, you will lose your license for your refusal.
If you participate in a field sobriety test, you just made the job for your attorney much harder. If you didn't participate, ask for a discount, because the case should be won before it even starts.

" No signature, no contract by which an officer will arrest you. Now, if you get that ticket in the mail with no signature and nobody to take you to jail for not signing it, it's a worthless empty threat. It should be noted that they also don't mail it certified to verify that you ever received it. I mean, would you pay a parking ticket if they wrote down your license plate wrong?

It should be a crime for high ranking officers who retire than come right back the next day to occupy the same seat he had previously, but now double dipping as a civilian GS-15 employee! From page B-1 of yesterday's Honolulu Star-Advertiser: proposed Hawaii legislation "would establish a one-year pilot program within the Department of Human Services to provide monthly income of $2,000 to people who are verified victims of sex trafficking, or sexual and gender minority individuals seeking to exit the sex trade". The proposed program would be "the first in the nation."
Notice that the proposed legislation, at least as described in the news report, would not be restricted to "verified victims of sex trafficking," but would also include some prostitutes who just were purportedly "seeking to exit the sex trade." In my opinion, that would create an incentive for those prostitutes to falsely claim that they wanted to stop being a prostitute, yet secretly continue prostitution while also collecting a total of $24,000 in taxpayer funds.
