Saw the conflict regarding Taylor and decided to investigate.

The search function works as it does on any major search engine. I did a quick search and drudged up 20 or more posts on Lacey, most citing that she does cash & dash ripoffs.

One problem that anyone researching the archives runs into as that the links posted by reviewers are useless; BP ads are not 'eternal' and if they are not removed by the provider herself, they will expire within a few weeks which is why I encourage everyone to take a few seconds to simply attach a photo from the ad to your post (see example below of Lacey). It took 30 seconds to save and then upload.

Very few providers are using their own real photos, and the reason should be obvious. They don't want non-clients to recognize them on the street, in a store, at their "square" job, or sitting next to them at their family Sunday dinner table. So they choose photos to try to represent themselves, and they really only have 3 choices - 1) use photos of someone who looks exactly like them. Defeating the purpose, or 2) use photos of someone who does not look like and is "ugly" - not particularly good advertising, or 3) choose someone who they wish they looked like. Hoping you will want to see that hot chick.

"Bait and Switch" is everywhere, and in every facet of your life. Don't believe that? When was the last time you went into McDonalds (Arbys, Burger King, etc.) and got a hamburger that looked anywhere near as good as the reader board or TV commercials? Your best chance at liking the person who will answer the door is to go in with the low expectation that she will not be quite as "hot" (or young) as her ad photos.

There are, however, a few exceptions.

SERENITY LUX uses only her own real photos, and she is smoking'. No face photos, of course, but I can assure you she is very beautiful. What I would call "movie-star good looks".

KERI DOLL is very attractive, and has a hot yoga body. Literally (loves hot yoga). Her few ad photos, if you can even find an ad, are real and are accurate.

There are a few others I know of who maybe aren't quite as hot, but DO use their own photos. On the whole, however, I think you need to lower your expectations from what you see in the ads for your "dream date". As a general rule, if I see ad photos that could very well be published in a high-end men's magazine I automatically assume they are of not the actual provider (especially if the area code is "702") I think you should try to warm up to that as an immutable fact of life.

I told her "No", and apologetically added that the smallest bill I had was $100. She left and I felt disappointed but at the same time pleased that I hadn't just settled. After all, there's no shortage of beauties on BP, right? I'll just find someone else.

Later I texted Jessica, a model-like blonde and she asked me to meet her at a downtown hotel on 5th. Now I'm investing real time an effort I thought, this is definitely going to be worth it. No need to take off my shades or approach the front desk in the lobby (I like that!) I headed directly for the elevator, go up, knock and I'm greeted, again by someone who is not whom she has advertised herself to be. Again, not unattractive, and a little heavier that the girl in the photo but I'm on a mission here; I want to spend time with what I'd literally describe as a 'dream-girl' which she was not so I say, "Uh, wrong room. Sorry!

Quick searches by google of phone numbers or pictures is the starting place.There is no doubt that Google is helpful but the results can often be as misleading as the ads on BP. For example, PeepingDog reported that a Google search pulled up the site bustedescorts.com which informed him that the girl he was looking for had been arrested and was probably now working as a police informant, insinuating that an attempt to contact her would probably result in him being caught in a 'sting' operation.

Bustedescorts.com is a site whose purpose is to direct you to another site where you can "Safely Select an Escort" by registering and inputting credit card information. Bustedescorts.com DOES NOT provide info about girls who've actually been arrested. The girls' profiles are 'scraped' off of BP by a bot called an 'aggregator'. The profiles are then used to populate websites like bustedescorts.com (there are others) which are basically marketing tools to drive traffic to another website which requires your credit card details.

If you play around on bustedescorts.com you'll see that it is directing users to Easysex.com. That's where the money is being made and for which bustedescorts.com and other similar sites are just a stepping stone.

As concerns police stings, I think it's safe to assume that law enforcement has planted profiles in online communities to surveil but remember that they're principal focus is in rescuing trafficking victims, particularly underage teens and busting pimps who are coercing victims. I've talked to several girls who've been contacted by law enforcement, not arrested, just questioned. The reality is with the current budget crisis and SB 91, government and law enforcement are trying to keep people out of jail because of the enormous costs. Non-violent misdemeanors like soliciting are simply not in their cross-hairs right now.

Actually, it's a great time right now for hobbyists in Alaska. If you go to places like Houston or Miami there is a strong likelihood that you will run afoul of law enforcement simply because those are jurisdictions that have the financial resources to prosecute two consenting adults involved in a dream.

Here in the Last Frontier the budget crunch has forced folks to rethink priorities, and rightly so. That's part of the reason why you have so many girls coming up from the lower 48 and Hawaii, despite the local recession, and so many new local girls getting into the business because there's little risk of being arrested. Alaska is wide open; enjoy it while it lasts!

Lastly, I've found 8's, 9's and 10's on BP just by scrolling, clicking and calling. Itzel, Natasha (AnnaMae) and Naomi Heaven come to mind (see photos below). Which is to say, I don't think it a total crapshoot.

And, finally, it is very common for a girl to use real photos, but from a much earlier time in their life. That is to say, "real, but old" photos.

Ultimately, I don't think you can accurately state a reliable "ratio" between fake photos and real photos. Every case is likely to be different, so in the absence of reliable intel from another "hobbyist" and-or consensus of published reviews, most first encounters initiated through Backpage are going to qualify as a bit of a crap shoot. That's just the nature of the beast.

Looking to start a bit of discussion on who you recommend as the best French students you've worked with. I have to say, I find that part very rewarding and enjoyable. My favorites have been:

Carmen Fox. She sadly went on to continue her education elsewhere. She was wildly enthusiastic, although a bit sloppy with some pronunciations (not a bad thing in my book).

Jewels. Very eager to learn and do better. Flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to master the language.

Charlie. A bit of a language barrier, but always an eager student and pays great attention to the details.

Serenity. An advanced student for sure, pays very close attention to the instructor and always finishes her lessons on time.

Anyone have any other favorites or input? Feel free to pm any students you recommend that could use some further lessons.

Additionally, I've not practiced Greek in quite some time, but would be willing to offer a few lessons there as well if you know anyone who speaks it.

I don't believe you can possibly assume a correlation between showing (or NOT showing) their face and the authenticity of their other photos. Many ads that do not show a face also show photos of someone else's body. Conversely, many ads that DO show face shots will turn out to be someone else's face. In fact, this is very common. I even have personal knowledge of some providers who have used fake ("stolen") face shots, but actually included their own real body photos. And, finally, it is very common for a girl to use real photos, but from a much earlier time in their life. That is to say, "real, but old" photos.

Ultimately, I don't think you can accurately state a reliable "ratio" between fake photos and real photos. Every case is likely to be different, so in the absence of reliable intel from another "hobbyist" and-or consensus of published reviews, most first encounters initiated through Backpage are going to qualify as a bit of a crap shoot. That's just the nature of the beast.

But once I grew tired of all of the fakers and being sorely disappointed in the experiences. Even walking away from many local and out of town ladies. I decided to search out the top recommended ladies on the forum and have never been disappointed since sticking with them. Every one of those top ladies that I have seen. Serenity, Charlie, Katie TLC, Gianna from Tampa, Davina (haven't seen for awhile), Elena (out of the business now), and now the newest lady Natalie. All use their own recent body pictures, never show their face (privacy reasons), and have not used fake or other ladies pictures. With these recommended and verified ladies, you will never experience a bait and switch. What you get is even better in person once you see the complete package. But hey, to each his own. If you are looking for a different variety, like living on the edge or rolling the dice, can't see yourself dolling out the $$ don't care about receiving the entire top-tier experience, just want to bust a nut for as cheap as possible, or feel you just want a fat ribeye instead of filet mignon, then you will find the middle and lower tier ladies will be more than happy to give you what you want for less. But buyer be ware for the quality of service and product you might end up with. Just saying. IMHO. With all of the negative reviews and disappointments listed lately on the boards. Why would you waste your hard-earned cash on maybes and unknowns without doing your due diligence? Of course, your TOFTT helps weed out the ones guys like me would never seek out. So I've noticed that Charlie is always referred to as the highest tier available. I dreamt of her about two years ago and while it was a great dream there were many aspects that were not available on the menu. Has this menu been updated? Does it get increased from visit to visit? One of the reasons I don't mention my ATF's is because I'm selfish and I don't want them to become completely commodified. The more business they get, the less personally attentive the service. A little success in this business can be bad for both providers and clients alike.

An example is what recently happened with K. K. (see photo below). She got a handful of good reviews and guys started to pile on her. Now she's a freakin' mess. Not that there's nothing sexy about a petite, freckled train-wreck (you can basically do whatever you want with her now, totally malleable) but generally speaking the only influence I want a girl under when she's with me is mine.

It is more likely that she is doing what she does so she can fund an addiction, fund a douchebag who is using her for his own addiction (in which he is probably manipulating her as well with said addiction), or something along that same story line. There are some providers that you just want to support because they provide an amazing service, there are those with extenuating life circumstance that you also tend to prefer, and then there are those that you just don't support. K. k is probably one of those know as any support is likely fueling her own spiral out of control. FWIW, a friend of mine saw her before her downfall. She didn't look quite as attractive and bubbly as her pics, but she was legit. This friend also relayed she was a much better GFE provider than Jewels who is of the same age and offers a similar type of experience. However, contact with her a month later proved fruitless and hinted at some of the issues you noted above.

So, I've had a Michelle McGee fantasy ever since Jesse James dumped Sandra Bullock and I suppose dreaming with Mysteri is about is close as I'll ever come to fulfilling it.

Mysteri aka Myst has had at least one negative review here and on TER that I'm aware of. Complaints included the shape of her stomach, poor skin, bad teeth and airbrushed photos in her ad. To be fair, she had a baby boy in the last year and while stretch marks are visible for me at least her tummy wasn't especially unattractive. Her photos are airbrushed but in person her skin is clear and blemish free, a gorgeous ivory complexion that sets off a pair of beautiful blue eyes. Her teeth, as far as I could tell (of course I didn't ask her to open her mouth so I could examine them) didn't show any of the typical signs of meth abuse; in fact they looked perfect (again as far as I could tell), but maybe she's gotten dentures.

Now on to the positive. She is a wife, mother, poet, sex workers' rights advocate and Mysteri is a work of art. The rich mosaic of tattoos adorning her entire body is an incredible turn on, each tattoo telling the story of a woman with a heightened awareness of her own skin and sexuality. I think Mysteri would easily stand out in the pantheon of any hobbyist's memories for her exotic beauty.

I want to suggest a three pronged approach for getting rid of this problem:

1) Do not patronize girls who egregiously use fake photos and misrepresent themselves.

2) Report the ads to BP. Encourage real girls to report the ads to BP. BP will immediately pull the ads if they receive enough reports from distinct IP addresses. Examples of the most flagrant fake photo girls ad titles are below. I've also included two more photos (Fake Monica & Fake Mya) that I've confirmed do not represent the women answering the ads. Other fake photos can be found in the USASG Anchorage photo gallery.

3) Fake photo girls deserve fake appointments. Let's correct their behavior by making it counterproductive for them to advertise fraudulently. It's ironic that in many of their ads they ask for "Serious inquiries only" and "No Games".
