Never had luck at Lu's and a rare sneaky tug at Junes with one of the girls passing through. Montgomery has been a little better but still hit and miss. Never tried tipping and asking for a phone call. I find a place I feel a good vibe and just become a regular. Some times they loosen up and other times its like Lu's where I really enjoy Yu Yu's massages but know there is no HE in my future. 1 for 1 today. First time for HE. MGM gives me a really creepy feeling. Not sure her name. Asked several times. Jay or something like that. Teeny tiny old gal. First TS. That was nice but the look of the room is like a torture chamber haha. Lied and said I had been before. She asked how old I was. I told her and I guess I made the cut. I've got a review of the local table super scene and small warning at the end.
I'll start by saying it's been a few months since I've been to MGM but the shower there was nice and thorough.
Brown springs road, the mama / manager is super nice and loud. I liked her personality. She is who did my shower. Let me just say that she has long fake nails and I'm pretty sure some of my DNA is under them haha. I enjoy back scratches like anyone else but the water burned on the scratches. And it wasn't any different when she got to my crack. She got me clean though. With her talons.
Pearls shower was nice and long and the nicest of the 3 rooms. She wouldn't wash my junk though and poured soap on and made me. Because of that only, it wasn't as thorough.
Now for the warning. At pearl, they have a small pillow with which to lay your head on. I ended up putting my chin on it when face down. Kinda awkward but probably better I used my chin than the side of my face, although it would have been way better not to use it at all. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I had red squares all over the underside of my chin at every place my skin came in contact with that pillow. Probably some kind of fungal growth. It's still here 2 days later. It kinda looks like razor burn but it's too organized from the pattern to really be able to play it off as razor burn. I remember having a similar mark on my forehead from the shower at MGM and it's sponge. At any rate, what I have on my chin now is super noticeable and weird looking so be warned if you're a person who needs to not have marks on your face for dats. Honestly, you all probably already know this stuff but it kind of got me by surprise.
Essentially I have or had red spots from all 3 table showers.

Went to brown springs road. Massage was nice. I had only been once before and had a table shower. Opted out of shower this visit. She asked had I been before, of course "yes". Then she told me to undress to underwear. I thought that odd but maybe to test if I'm LEO. No big deal though because I told her I was used to getting nude and she said of course that's fine. Very nice and friendly. She took about 6 calls though during the 1 hr. Didn't really bother me though. All were calls for massages. This place is very popular.

So I've been doing some digging and thinking. I think its woodmere that runs past the old Sam's club. Now there's a pepboys and some other things in that building. Actually, it's right near MGM. Same turn as MGM. Anyway, if you keep going towards Shakespeare on woodmere, there's a strip on the right side of the road that's pretty much all korean stuff. The signs are in korean with just a few having English translations. It's the same strip mall as g&s donuts. I don't see any signs which are typical for AMPs, but might be something there. I'm probably just really hopeful and its nothing. Just odd to see a strip mall that's 90% korean stuff.

I was friendly and didn't push but was clear about what I wanted and that I was prepared to donate. I had never been asked if I wanted a table shower at pearl (although I have asked and gotten one there before). She probably asked because she wanted the bigger tip. I wonder if table shower monies go to the girl rather than the house. My thirst grows. Pearl's was nice massage and sunny, although not a beauty, has from what I can tell a decent body. Hey dude, I get what you're saying. I went down the same road you did years ago. By the time you find that "surprise" you could buy yourself a new tv or comfortable recliner. Or a hooker to blast off in. There are far too many of these places around. One out of ten will actually give a good massage so you feel like you've got your money's worth, but the rest are just half assed massages and tip beggars. And to get a shitty massage and then jerk yourself off, and THEN tip them is just assanine. And there's hundreds of guys who are that pathetic that do that. Last time I went to MGM it was the mean, hateful, old, short, lady and I hadn't been back since (probably 6 months). Glad I went back. Finally was able to visit MGM in the last week or so. First visit was very unimpressive. Massage was WAY too rough, borderline painful, and that was that. Decided I had to give it another shot. New face dues and all. I am very glad I did. Was able to request that she be a little more gentle, which was a huge improvement over the first trip. She took real good care of me on my second visit. Well worth that second trip, will be visiting again soon. PM for more in depth review if you're interested.
Only downside was by the second visit the shower was broken and all that would come out was literal boiling water. She said something about needing to call a plumber to get it fixed. Hopefully that gets done soon, a table shower afterwards is pretty much the best way to remove all the oils and such from a massage.

I do not like wasting time and money going on repeats for a disappointment but it seems others have mixed luck.

If a place offers DIY, that's at least a bit of an indicator that a he is possible; they are used to seeing and being in the proximity of uncovered junk. They are also used to cleaning up splooge. It isn't at all a definite, but all anyone can do is keep trying. You have to be firm with your $. Wouldn't it be nice if one of these girls would just take your donation and do the deed? Yup, but it pretty much always will take coercion, IF it's even possible.
That being said, I've had girls at pearl assume what I'm asking for (when given the universal sign) is to DIY and they have thrown off the cover and squirted a bunch of oil on me. And because they assumed I wanted DIY (and I refused because I wanted he) and they refused to give a hand, we both left upset. This just goes to show that folks are tipping well for DIY. I'm not going to be mean or ugly about it, but I will say that if you read this and you want more than DIY, you absolutely must be firm with your $. You don't have to be mean, but they want the donation that you want to make. If you know that and realize that the worst thing that could happen is you leave with your $ and blue balls, you can go somewhere else and get what you want, or you can go home and recuperate.
The suggested tip signs at some places are an absolute joke. Google how much you should tip for an hour massage. Then look at their suggested tips. If you haven't had a real licensed massage therapist before, your massage will generally be at least %100 better and your tip won't be more than 10 bucks.
Anyway, I may hit up a few places today. Yall have a good valentines day.

Stopped by MGM a few times in the last couple weeks. First visit in this time span, she stopped me at the door and said she had to go. Two other times the lights weren't on at all and nobody answered the door. Sad to say, but from my experience it's not looking good for MGM.

Now on to my recent findings.
In the last few weeks I've come to the conclusion that MGM is closed. The last 4 or 5 times I tried to visit, the doors were locked and lights were off, including the "open" sign. Natural Healing was about the same as elsewhere here. Didn't catch her name but it was the same girl twice. I've also been to Pearl multiple times. One girl gave a GREAT legit massage in my opinion, but I went last week and they said she was on vacation. I tried somebody else that night, and her massage wasnt bad. Again, all the same story, DIY if anything. I'll be going to Pearl again this weekend to see if I can make anything happen.

In the last few weeks I've come to the conclusion that MGM is closed. The last 4 or 5 times I tried to visit, the doors were locked and lights were off, including the "open" sign. Natural Healing was about the same as elsewhere here. Didn't catch her name but it was the same girl twice. I've also been to Pearl multiple times. One girl gave a GREAT legit massage in my opinion, but I went last week and they said she was on vacation. I tried somebody else that night, and her massage wasnt bad. Again, all the same story, DIY if anything. I'll be going to Pearl again this weekend to see if I can make anything happen.
As always, your PMs are welcome whether its advice or questions.There have been some traveling Asian ladies come through Montgomery. I think this number belongs to them. Looks wise they vary widely from young and beautiful to old and old. Same results. I had good luck with them a couple years back. The call goes to New Jersey or somewhere and they set it up. I know it's been covered here before, but yes, pearl and June are owned by the same guy / family. Confirmed with a desk girl at June.
It sucks about MGM. I drive by there every now and then and the lights appear to be on. It is usually during the brightest hours of the day and I could be wrong. If they were able to get more (or even one other) girls, I think they'd do way better (not saying that "managment" isn't trying).

It would appear that MGM has the same lady as always and you can expect the same service from her as always. Today, after the shower, I was put in the sauna. Lady is friendly but even with the nice massage, it felt rushed. She was done and I was rushed out the door before the hour was over. I don't think I will be returning until another woman is available. It isn't a bad experience, but there are better places to spend money.

I went there tonight expecting only a massage but I needed one badly. Fricking KILLER massage (back walking, elbow digging, etc) but no hint of anything else. I did get a frequent flyer card which I have seen used to establish trust. On the other hand, my Starbucks loyalty card only gets me coffee. YMMV.
Today I failed at both Prattville AMPs; on the positive side neither gal fussed when I simply paid the door fee and left.

Been once since new owners and I can tell you the menu has changed so to speak, if there was much of one to begin with. Either way, its definitely not there now.

Just wondering if there have been any new developments lately. I'm planning a visit to one of the shops in the area, but I'm not entirely sure where to try my luck, especially with the staffing switch at Pearl and June. That last MGM report sounded intriguing, but I'm hesitant to say the least.

As long as there are folks in the area who tip for DIY, that will always be their standard. There could always be other reasons (looking like LEO, their having some dignity, they don't need / want the tip (LOL)), but really, it's because guys are tipping (not just tipping, but tipping over the top) for DIY. If you read through the older posts, about 2 years ago there was boycott of the AMPs in the area. Don't really know if it was successful or not, but even if it was, there were still guys going to the AMPs who have never been to this site and who tipped well for substandard services. I've spoken with several certified massage therapists, and they say that a standard tip for them is 10 for every increment of an hour (90 min = 15). Places like June even have a sign on their front desk (at least they used to, haven't looked in awhile) that say to tip 40 for "excellent" service. This tells the guy who just did DIY to tip that much because he just whacked it in front of a strange lady. Unless they end up at this site, or another if one exists, they may never even ask themselves if more could happen. The cycle is perpetuated.
This is not a jab at you, Newbie, at all. This post is to provide anyone coming to this site for the first time with reasoning for WHY we DO NOT tip for DIY.
Hopefully, somewhere, some old dude is getting a he at an AMP without asking for it and he is tipping accordingly. I'd like to think that one day I can be that old dude too.

Seems you've done at least some homework. Just be sure to share what you find without giving so much info it gets the ladies in trouble. Hello newbies! Glad you came to the site and created a profile to ask for info. Info is what we all are seeking. Also, it is pretty easy to come by, but it requires 60-80 to gather. I've gotten a bunch of messages in the last 2 days from brand new folks. I'm glad that you're on the site because more eyes on the ground means more intel floating around. But what the new guys need to understand is that the 60-80 that is required is just you getting out there and going to the places. Here's your newbie tutorial:
Step 1. Read the whole forum from start to finish. It doesn't take very long and by the end of it you should understand the lingo and learn the history of the AMP scene in this area. (Those of you who have specifically asked about just wanting to get something more with a massage will learn exactly where you can go to get that just by reading the forum).
Step 2. Go to an AMP and get a massage. Really isn't too hard and it's enjoyable. It's also part of the chase. If you cannot get used to this, then I won't sugar coat it, you really have no business being in this "club". I know for a fact that I've spent over 1. 5 k on just massages in the last year alone. It is not a cheap hobby and I am not wealthy. But it is a hobby I enjoy and so I budget for it.
Step 3. After your massage, post your experience. Save any naughty details for PMs but describe your visit. Anything you thought stood out or something you particularly liked or other details.
That's it. It should also be noted that you will not be getting anything until you've been somewhere before. You could lurk on the board for years and have every single snippet of intel but you won't get what you're looking for unless you actually walk through the AMP doors multiple times. I call this "new face dues" and you can call it whatever you want, but just know that it is not cheap yet it is absolutely impossible to continue in this hobby without paying them.

Haven't made a report in a bit, so I figured I'd share what I've found recently.
In the last two weeks or so I've made 2 trips to Lu's, 2 to Pearl, and 1 to Natural Healing. All roughly the same story for me, not much in the way of tips for any of the visits. Each visit was a different lady, so that's likely what it was as I don't recall ever seeing any of them before. Like PVG says, new face dues and all. That said, two of them were great massages and the others weren't even worth future attempts in my book, but YMMV depending on how you like your massage. Let's just say I've never been one to tell someone they need to move to a different spot already but I had the unpleasantness of having to do so on one trip to Lu's. I mean I get that they aren't mind readers, but I always thought they knew enough about the trade and would just sort of know when to move on to another area and not spend what seemed like 30 minutes on the same shoulder blade. But I digress.
In any event, even if those two I mentioned never pan out, I'm still more than willing to visit again as I thoroughly enjoyed the massages. I'm just willing to bet I can be parted from more tip money in the future from at least one of them.

Been going to NH lately but not getting anywhere, so the other night I decided to hit up MGM. I thought they were open later, but as I got there I was told they were closing. Think it was around 830 or so. I was let in reluctantly, given 30 minutes no table shower, and mostly felt rushed. I was pleasantly surprised to see a new face, but it wasn't as young as I was hoping for and definitely didn't have much of an extras menu. I walked out smiling, but it could have been better. Hopefully theres more new talent on the way there soon. If not I may have to hang up my hat for a while. I need a longer list of extras offered if I'm going to keep dropping my hard earned. If not, I have other things it could be going towards, I'm just about as handy for myself as some of the massages in the area, and turns out that's roughly what I've been paying for at NH anyways haha.

ManG.Good review. A lot of these places (June's, Accupresure,.) want to be legit and survive off of decent massages. There is a chance of getting lucky if the right girl comes along or you make good friends. Giving happy endings for these shops is too dangerous to their survival. The best chance is with a new girl that wants some extra tips, but the owners usually catch on quick and send them back.
