Hey guys, I've got a buddy coming into town this weekend and he wants to visit Tijuana on Sunday night before his flight out on Monday afternoon. The thing is he won't get out of his engagement on Sunday until late, so if we went, we wouldn't arrive until like 2 or 3am. I live in the LA area and always thought it might be pretty cool to take a trip down to Tijuana but somehow I never felt motivated enough to do that as I won't save much in cost by the time I get there and everything is all said and done. Remember less is better, just bring your wallet and passport. As soon as you cross just go directly to the yellow cab and tell them you want to be taken to hong long. They will tell you Purple Rain is the best, but thats pure bs. Once in HK just order a beer and watch the show, don't go for the first chick that offers you to go upstairs. Do a little research with your eyes to see who you like best. Prices for girls can range from 60 to 100, but I would not go over 80 and 60 is more common.

Also don't bring the big bills, exact change is best. Also do have fun and stay safe, take the cab back to the border as well don't be cheap and risk getting robbed or worse.

ThanksYes, in my limited experience a side trip to Greece is VERY do-able in Tijuana. In fact, when I inquired I was never told 'no' even once at HK Tropical, etc.

I was there last weekend. I was by myself and in the Zona from after 6pm until past 5am in the morning. I hit the major bars and also went into one of the small ones. No problems with anyone except for a scammer mesero at the Hacienda place around the corner from Adelita's who took a little while with my change and I think tried to get the girl a drink when I didn't order one.

I would try it on a Wednesday or Thursday night if possible. Less guys around. Go around nine, and if you cross back at like 1 am there won't be a bad line. Best parking was either at Duty Free shop ($10) or our preference was to go east across I-5 and park at hotel next to Jack in Box for 4 bucks for 8 hours. Now, parking at hotel is on the Exit (east) side of the border, you have two walk across pedestrian bridge to get to the Entrance (west) side. We liked this because after a drunken night. Car is much closer than Duty Free Shop.

After going through turnstiles, depending on certain days (Friday and Saturday) you get a lot kids and people panhandling, just ignore and keep moving. You will see a lot of local commuters entering Mexico with their belongings in trash bags. No judgement, just an observation. You will see a line of taxis which most drivers speak decent English. Take a taxi and tell them Adelita's or Hong Kong's. In either case, you will get drop off in front of Adelita's. HK is a few building down to the right. The ride is about 4. 5 minutes and usually costs 5. 6 dollars. One night we had a guy who spoke great English we asked about Viagra. He took us to legit pharmacy and went inside to with us to purchase Cialis (based on his recommendation). Cost $15 a pill. Not sure that it worked, but technically, I don't need them. In more than 30 years of mongering in more than 20 countries, I thought I had a pretty good understanding of the strip club scene. I was wrong. Best bet for a totally interactive 3-some used to be some of the dive bars along Revolution (Isis, Unicornio, Equipales). They had ladies there who had been around the block a few times and, because of slow business in those places, were up for almost anything. Sentri just seems way to expensive, but pp cards reasonable. Anyone know what average wait times during busy traffic would be like with one? Any help would be great. Also I noticed "the tall man" mention taking a bus back. Couldn't find another post about it, but ran across something the other day saying it can take just as long. The last time I was down there I crossed back on a Friday eve at 7pm and the wait was 30 minutes. No sentri. I have been wanting to get the sentri, but just have not done it yet. The law says a passport but there's obviously a LOT of discretion given to the Border Patrol (BP) officers. I normally take off the last couple of weeks of November to visit family and friends but after my experience at Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club, I decided to take an extra weekend this year and make a return visit to Tijuana. I originally thought about actually staying in Tijuana to avoid the inefficiency of border crossings, car parks, etc., but at the last minute an old classmate responded to a note of mine from last summer, and invited me for a stay with them in El Cajon.

Hence, I ended up visiting Tijuana on a Saturday night (something I was hoping to avoid due to expected crowding), but things worked out okay after all. I did the same park on USA Side, walk across, and taxi into the Zona Norte neighborhood. I directed the taxi driver to drop me at Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club, and I paid him $5. HKGC was pretty much as I remembered it, but it was definitely more crowded and louder this time around. After looking around a bit, I found a table ordered a beer and was sort of looking for the honey that I hooked up with in August. Unbeknownst to me, one of the dancers had noticed me when I came in, and quickly she came and Sat. On my lap. Just booked a trip today. While doing some research I haven't seen a lot talking about travel from San Diego to Tijuana only border crossing. I assume that the taxi that picks you up at the beach in San Diego and drops you at Hong Kong then takes you back doesn't exist because of the unpredictable wait times at the border. I guess that I am ok walking across but is there taxi's or buses that run on the American side 24/7 and what is the cost from say downtown SD to the border?

Coming in Mid February for 5 or 6 days. Researching rather to stay in SD or maybe Tijuana or a beach town in Mexico and drive in a rental car back and forth. Would be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat concerned about safety being a newbie to Tijuana. Not as worried about being in town as I am getting to and from Zone Norte.

At least that's what it used to be called. In Tijuana in October (sorry for delay in report. Been procrastinating) on a Thursday night for first time since 2008. I used to enjoy dumpster diving in the Revo bars. I'd get a gem every now and then. So, started out there on this trip.

My old haunts (Equipalles, Isis, Unicornio, etc). Long gone. El Tigre still hanging on, although I couldn't see any name above the door.

Went in to check it out. Every cautious of the TV scam. Met Marlina, cute little girl (yes, real), only one there (and I was the only customer). I made it in to Tijuana last night. Luckily left the deep freeze that is happening at home on Sunday. I rented a car and drove it to the long term lot at the border crossing and walked across. Simply amazing how easy it was. Guess Mexico doesn't care what you bring into their country. Jumped in a cab and headed to the Zona about 3 pm.

Didn't have a place to stay reserved because truthfully I didn't know if I was going to stay. After meeting up with a streetwalker and busting a quick one I went to HK. I made it in to Tijuana last night. Luckily left the deep freeze that is happening at home on Sunday. I rented a car and drove it to the long term lot at the border crossing and walked across. Simply amazing how easy it was. Guess Mexico doesn't care what you bring into their country. Jumped in a cab and headed to the Zona about 3 pm.

Didn't have a place to stay reserved because truthfully I didn't know if I was going to stay. After meeting up with a streetwalker and busting a quick one I went to HK. While there I met Rosanna. 5'10 165 lbs light complexion with the junk in the trunk. Tucked a couple buck and agreed on a 30 min session upstairs. Full Service was provided. Being that I speak 3rd year high school Spanish and know the naughty words it was easy to agree on what I was looking for. Second nut in three hours means she was doing something right. $.55 for her $.06 for the room.

Finished and walked to Tropical bar. Very few dancers but saw a sign for rooms for rent. Asked to see one and they look just like the one I just came from. Nothing fancy but a bed. Settled in my room for a couple hours catching up on emails and went out last night. Not that I felt totally safe during the day I sure felt a while lot safer than I did at night. I didn't stray far and I didn't stand on the street except to walk to the ally and look down and see twice as many SW's as were there during the day. Went back to HK around 10 pm. Rosanna was gone so settled for another girl who's name I couldn't understand at all. I asked three times and decided to give up. Wouldn't matte to day anyway. No worries that should keep a horny latina lover from Tijuana. The various risks in Mexico are distinct to each geographical region just as they are in the US. Just as people living outside the US should not fear a trip here because of some horror story that is reported out of Detroit, don't assume that what you've heard about going on in Juarez or Michoacan is also occurring in Tijuana. Tijuana has had its moments and there is still cartel conflict, but it is at present surgical and out of sight and tourists minding their own business are not targeted or in the line of fire. Safer for innocents than my hometown LA where gangsta's hold their handguns sideways when they shoot because it looks cooler than to aim, and innocent bystanders get full of lead instead of the targeted rival gangsta in too many instances. Petty hoods in TJ almost never have guns and the cartel soldiers who do break discipline much less than armed criminals in the USA.

There are still some rateros walking around from time to time who rely on choke holds instead of guns, but almost never on the two main monger drags of Calle Coahuila which hosts Adelita Bar, and Callejon Coahuila which is the so-called alley. Just common sense that crimes don't break out in crowds, but in desolate locations. Even hoods have common sense about choosing where a mugging will go down. If you're walking alone maintain 360 degree awareness particularly if you are not on one of the "Coahuilas". If you think somebody is following you with bad intent step aside into a bar or store front and let them pass. Same basic street smarts you utilize when walking the inner city streets of any big city in the USA.

Don't let any street hustlers stop you for any "pleasant conversation" about chicas or any damn thing and that includes the so-called "walkers" who are drug addicted street girls always on the move who speak English and make fantastic low price offers for all the service you can handle. They actually are good for it but the problem is being seen hanging out with walkers or street hustlers provides a pretense for those other rateros known as La Policia to harass you. Real SGs hold tight to their spot and don't approach from another one or walk down the street with you soliciting. Also much cuter and cleaner than walkers bud sadly provide inferior service for more money! Oh well, that's the price of common sense.

As to the $6 HK hotel room, that is probably a typo or an error in using the insanely useless monetary code that some employ on this site for no good reason. An accurate reading using the code means this poster wrote that he paid $106 for the room at Cascades and $155 for the chica. In fact I believe the short term rate at Cascades is now up to $15 or $16 (less for SG sessions). Also pretty sure the guy paid $55 to the chica which is in the vicinity of the going rate. Most hot HK and AB chicas will now ask for $80-100 US if you ask how much, but most will take $60 if you hold firm. My first rule of dealing with service providers in Tijuana from sex workers to taxi drivers is NEVER to ask how much, but to pay the fair going rate at the end of the session or the ride. I rarely get asked for more money than I hand over. In Mexico asking "how much" is an invitation to haggle. So you'll almost always be asked to pay too high a price and a counter offer is expected. Many mongers and understandably especially newbies pay $100 for $60 short term sessions.

The best advice though is to treat the locals with respect and you will get it back.

V is available over the counter all over Tijuana but there are no farmacias along the chica strips of Calle or Callejon Coahuila. You'll need to venture off the main drag or find it in another area. Some bars sell it in the bathrooms but it is way overpriced and I wouldn't trust the quality. In any event it is no cheaper in Mexico than the US for the name brand. Generics are available for about half price or less of the name brand. During the day you could try one of many farmacias along Constitucion named either National or International at the corner of Constitucion and Calle 2 just a block from where the P4P district begins. It's right across a pedestrian walkway from a MacDonalds of all the damn Mexican restaurants! They have good quality, service and decent prices. Ask for Viagra and they'll instantly show you the decent generics first, and they work fine! Have your cab drop you there and you can easily and safely walk another 1-2 blocks along Constitucion to arrive in the zona panocha. If you're new to Tijuana, I would not recommend the same short walk after dark.

Stick to that area, keep your head up, and you'll be fine.

If you are driving, I recommend leaving your car in the parking lot and crossing. Take the "Last US Exit", turn right, then right again immediately into the first parking lot. From the bus stop in front of the parking lot, you can take the Mexicoach directly into Tijuana. Cost is $3 dollars, or you can pay $5 for round trip ticket. Cheaper, easier, and safer than walking. The Mexicoach station is on Revolution near 7th, but you can ask to get off at 2nd and Rev.

If you are coming in on the Trolley, you can take the SDMTS bus '907 via San Ysidro' ($2.25) or walk west over the overpass to the parking lot, then grab the Mexicoach (Be advised, lately it has not been running on Saturdays).

A very real advantage to using the Mexicoach on the return is that they take you to a special entrance wwith very short lines.

If you do need to take a cab in Tijuana, I advise only using the TaxiLibre's, and ALWAYS negotiate the price up front. Centro to the border should NEVER be more than $5. Centro to the Airport about $10. (Mexicoach will take you from the parking lot to the Airport for about that too.

Sun pm is the worst time to cross back, but almost empty a 3 am. Rent-by-the-hour hotels are OK, but I recommend a midrange like. Lleyva. Around $25. Includes parking. More importantly, you have greater security, a good shower, a place you can leave stuff while you cruise. Most importantly, staff isn't watching the clock. If you have the stamina to make multiple contacts, it is actually cheaper than are-be-T-H hotels.

I always parking on street in San Ysidro. There is plenty of street parking on Border Village Rd. Border Village Road runs parallel to San Ysidro Blvd. This located where the Kentucky fried chicken is located. The parking Border Village Rd is 2 hour parking. But you can park all day by the Goodwill or by the strip mall where Oreilly auto parts is located. I have never had any problems and a cop told me that auto thefts is not a problem.

Don't get to Tijuana much these days. Last time I was there, October 2013, the Adelitas girls were quoting $70/$80. A first timer is probably not going to hold his ground to save $20-$30. I agree, the tip was over the top.There have always been a small group of hotties that seem to have a waiting list of clients. They can demand and get a premium rate. But when a woman has sat around two or three hours with nol nibbles, $50 starts to look pretty good. I usually ignore the hotties. Performance is often lack-luster because they don't have to. Hold your ground.

As to parking in th daytime, I think the writer is correct. Why pay? Two suggestions though. Never leave any bags in your car, and have an alarm which has a light. I actually parked on the streets in Tijuana for years. Got robbed several times until I put in the alarm, then I noticed they would rob all the cars around me, but left mine alone.

The law has been a financial disaster for the border towns, and a major headache for the Border cops.

You can now go to Tijuana with only a valid drivers license. I don't know if they actually recinded the law, It's still best to have a passport. Here's a tip: Scan your DL, Birth Certificate, and Passport, then e-mail them to yourself. If your stuff is stolen or lost. You can at least show the authorities a facsimile.

They have all been on the outer edges of zona norte in regular street clothes. Only one was baring her girls and that was because she was a large cee. Got GFE from each one. Hong Kong and the Hotel Cascadas are separate entities. They have to be under Mexican law (otherwise the combo would be considered a brothel, and illegal). Las Chevalas girls also use Cascadas.

Way back when (pre-2002) you could bring as many ladies as you want to your room from where-ever (street, Hong Kong, other bars, etc.) with no extra fees. From what I've read on various Tijuana boards they now may try and hit you with a service charge for each different girl after the first one (although over a few days I doubt they could keep track). I never stayed more than one night at a time so just carried all my cash with me. Only things I left in my room was clothing / tooth brush, shaving gear / etc. Not sure what I'd do if I had to have cash for multiple days. There are ATM's in Tijuana. Also reports of guys getting mugged while using them. I think if you used the ATM in daylight hours in a busy place you'd be OK. Just don't let anyone "help" you.

The $30 was the overnite price I paid back in early 2000's so it's possible it has gone up. There are alternatives. I used to stay at the Leyva a lot. OK, first, to qualify. I was a heavy duty Tijuana visitor from mid-1990's to about mid-2000's so my info may be out of date.

I never stayed more than one night at a time so just carried all my cash with me. Only things I left in my room was clothing / tooth brush, shaving gear / etc. Not sure what I'd do if I had to have cash for multiple days. There are ATM's in Tijuana. Also reports of guys getting mugged while using them. I think if you used the ATM in daylight hours in a busy place you'd be OK. Just don't let anyone "help" you.

The $30 was the overnite price I paid back in early 2000's so it's possible it has gone up. There are alternatives. I used to stay at the Leyva a lot. In fact stayed there on my last visit this past October ($25/ night). I've stayed at leyva a bunch, never had a problem. It's like 23 or 25 bucks + deposit that they give you when you check out. If you've never been there before it might seen dingy and hideous. I stayed at Nikki's once about 2 mos ago and place was fantastic. I've recently notice it shut down which is sad. Rizzo de oro (above tropical bar) always quotes a high rate especially on wkends. I've never stayed at cascades. Everytime I've asked for a room on wkends they say we're sold out. I stopped going there. Sun- thurs I think you can stay anywhere for 35-40 dls.

On the walk to Revo. IMO no issue during daylight hours. After dark use your judgement. Plenty of people on the street usually equals safety. When in doubt, take a cab. Find one of the stationed cabs (the blue and whites that have assigned spots to wait for fares. I like Moses at Molino Rojo) and tell them $3 to Revolution & whatever cross street you want. They'll usually go for it.

Here's a thought. Since you are so interested in the Revo scene, take a look at la via Zaragoza, http://www.hotellavilla.biz/ Very secure (at least used to be). Decent rooms and they have a safe for security of valuables. Also very chica friendly (in fact, the night clerk will have one knocking at your door if you ask). If you can get an out-date with a Zona girl they like to get away from the Zona so the Zaragoza is a good option. Stay there the first couple of nights to get the feel of things and scope out the Zona hotels. Maybe even get a room at Cascadas or Hotel Cohuilla (Adelitas) for a night for a place to do multiple pops and decompress between clubbing trips. Then, if you feel comfortable, move to one of the Zona hotels.

BTW, we expect a full report when you return.

Second the info that police unlikely to hang around the taxis. Particularly those picking up passengers near the border (bad for the tourist business). However, you do go through Mexican customs when you enter Mexico - when I used to go the Federales would check some bags - they had some sort of a random selection system.

Not much chance of a grab-and-run as long as you hang on to your bag/backpack/suitcase/whatever.

I've never had anybody look in my bag, but I feel safer this way.

From my point of view, go ahead and bring a roller bag into Mexico. That has never caused me a problem. After the turnstile there will be a small Mexican security station, you will need to press the button on the machine if you have a bag with you. I really don't know what that machine does, but they always want me to press the button when I have a bag. After entering, I always go straight to my hotel and drop off my bag so I'm not dragging it around Zona Norte.

Stayed at leyva last night fri. 6/13. Pd 28 usdls + 2 dl security deposit that I got back this morn. It seems like the last few times I've stayed here price has gone up each time. Also, there's major renovation going on and has been for some time now. Funny thing was I couldn't find my way down to the officina at ckout due to the staircases being blocked off. Still one of the better and cheaper places to crash although nothing fancy.

It is strictly a motel to go and crash when your drunk. I also like it because it's in the zona per se. I've never stayed at Santiago but I always see police activity down that way and have heard some complaints about being harassed by police walking down there. From the outside it looks like a nice place though. Also, leyva does not have windows except for a little on in the bathroom. I think whatever you do, if your walking find a place to stay in the zona. It's always a little bit safer then walking all over Tijuana late at night. Hope this helps.

The rooms are nice and they are chica friendly. My recollection of the walk along Cohuilla, from Revolution to Constitution is that it was kind of rough. I've done it a number of times at night. To go to La Tropa, across the street from the Santiago. However, there's no way I would take that walk after about midnight, particularly when the bars and other businesses start to close.

A bonus. Hacienda de Santiago is (at least used to be) right near the place where the bar girls go to get their health cards.

Lessons learned to never let your guard down and never carry or bring anything that you can't easily replace.

BTW. I stayed this past Friday and Saturday at Leyva but now only in the rooms facing the interior parking area and only bring a change of cloths.

Most of them dispense pesos only. There are a few near the border that will spit out dollars but the fee is astronomical. I got drunk one night, ran out of cash and found this out the hard way. If you want to exchange dls into pesos go to an exchange window as soon as you cross.

During bank hours HSBC bank one block south of the arch on revolution has atms that dispense dollars or pesos and gives the best exchange rates of all the banks. On constitution and 2nd one block from the zona norte the Calimax market has a HSBC atm inside but pesos only. Store hours only as the atm is inside. You can withdraw up to $500 daily which right now would be about 6300 pesos. The money exchange place on the southeast corner of ninos heroes and first (2 blocks west of the arch) usually has the best rates to sell back pesos for dollars. A safer hotel than leyva would be hotel nelson which is located right next to the arch on revolution.

In most of the hotels (particularly in Zona Norte) you'll get these little bars of soap, maybe 2"x1. 5"x1/4", called "Rosa Venus" or something like that. PITA to clean up with them. I started bringing a small bottle of baby shampoo, in a squeeze bottle. A lot easier for showering.

My last visit I showered with the shampoo before hitting the clubs. I was getting a CBJ in El Tigre and the girl said "you smell good" and whipped of the condum and went BBCIM. Well worth the $3 for the shampoo.

There is good looking and reliable women to be found in in various parts of the Zona. It often takes time however. Most of the better looking ones are in the alley. When I go Tijuana it will often take me 1-2 hours to find a SG that I am interested in if my regular is not available. Part of the problem is that a lot these girls are scammers and will give poor service. I recommend Carina or Kristal in the alley. Carina hang out near the east end of the alley across from the store that recently opened. Carina is often around. Kristal hangs out roughly across from the HK bar. Kristal does not come out till around 2 or 3 usually.

The hsbc atms have instructions in both english and spanish. Asked at hotel santiago and the rate is 41 bucks and they have a hotel safe at the front desk for you to put your valuables. Hotel nelson is safer near the arch on revolution. 423 pesos for a room with tv and ceiling fan (36 bucks) 476 pesos for room with tv and a. See. (40 bucks). Also have a front desk hotel safe for your valuables. The one block walk from constitution and articulo 123 to hotel nelson is safer than the one block walk from constitution and coahuila to hotel santiago. There are many padrotes on coahuila between constitution and revolution watching their girls. BTW the money exchange places give you fewer pesos per dollar than taking out pesos at the hsbc atms. I made 5400 dollars last year taking out pesos at hsbc atms and selling them back immediately for dollars at the money exchange places. Anyone interested PM me.

Do not use ATMs in Tijuana. Most of them dispense pesos only. There are a few near the border that will spit out dollars but the fee is astronomical. I got drunk one night, ran out of cash and found this out the hard way. Okay rosco2 here is the lowdown on exchanging dollars for pesos. Today the bank rate is 13.02 pesos per dollar. If you go to a bank teller the rate is 12.40 received (bought) per dollar and 13.05 pesos to sell back for a dollar. If you use their atm you will receive 12.82 but pay $2 fee to your bank, 33 peso ($2. 65) use of atm fee, and 0. 8% to 1. 0% conversion fee. Take out the max $500 and it will be 6400 pesos. Add the 500,2. 00,2. 65, and 4. 00 (0. 8% x 500) equals 508.65. Divide the 6400 pesos by 508.65 and you have received 12.58 pesos per dollar. That's. 18 more pesos per dollar for 500 bucks equals 90 extra pesos (a bit more than 7 bucks). The money exchange places are giving about 12.40 pesos also to buy and about 12.70 to sell back pesos for dollars. If you use a atm do the max because you will pay your banks $2 and the banks $2. 65 fee even for a lesser amount. You can be sure atms in a bar or strip club will have a much higher fee than a bank atm. Not $2. 65 but hopefully not like USA Strip clubs that sometimes charge 10%.

If paying in pesos that's 50 pesos so give the waiter 60 pesos total. Try to have lots of low denomination bills (20 and 50 pesos) so you don't have to worry about the waiter 'forgeting' your change. Yesterday I asked at adelitas and they said the beers were $3. 25 or 41 pesos. Ask at the door before you go in to be sure. Don't forget that the attitude of many mexicans is that all americans are rich so they can afford to be shortchanged and cheated.

I was recently in San Diego for business and made my first trips to Tijuana. Let me start off my thanking all of you who have provided such great intel. Everything was pretty much as reported. I used most of the information I gathered reading the posts and reports on these boards.

On both trips I took the trolley Blue Line from downtown to San Ysidro. The first trip I purchased a day pass and Compass card at the America Plaza station for $7. 00. My second trip was $5. 00 to recharge the Compass card with a day pass. From America Plaza it was just under an hour ride. It was an easy trip, the trolley was clean, no one bothers you, and it drops you off right at the border. About five minutes after getting off the train I was in Tijuana and getting a cab. The cab rides were quick and as advertised, $5. 00 plus $1. 00 tip. They drop you off right in front of your selected club.

Over the two trips I went to Adelita twice and Hong Kong once. Both trips were early weekday afternoons / early evenings. Everything was as advertised. The average girl at Hong Kong were better looking than Adelita, but 8's and 9's were pretty easy to find at both. It was easier to negotiate at Adelita and my two trips upstairs were. 5 and. 6. My one trip upstairs at Hong Kong was. 8. Drink prices were also very accurate. I drank Coke and bought a couple ladies' drinks.

I was surprised that the hustle from the waiters and girls was less than I expected from the intel. I was expecting much more. I was prepared for much more. I did note that they are not in the business of providing company at your table unless you are buying the girls drinks or negotiating to go upstairs. They did start coming over as soon as I sat down. At least none of the girls I bought drinks for downed them quickly. It was funny that most tried to match me swallow, by swallow, and finishing about the same time I did. I probably spent too much on lady's drinks at Hong Kong. After taking a cute, young, spinner upstairs I wanted some company while I recuperated for the second visit to Adelita. Having her snuggling in my arms was worth it to me. My second trip to Adelita was the best by far. It was a true GFE. I cannot remember the last time I had two the same afternoon. Not bad for an old goat.

The hotel prices were spot on, including the cost for extra towels. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms. All three I was in were clean, had good temperature control, and nice, big glass-walled showers. All big enough for two! Neither was busy when I visited and I was able to use the full time without interruption. The housekeeping man was waiting outside the room each time and I gave each a dollar tip.

Both trips I caught a taxi right outside Adelita. The same fare to return, $5. 00 plus $1. 00 tip. At first I was confused because the drop off site is different than the pickup location. However, they drop you off up the street from the border crossing. Just follow the sidewalk and you are in line for customs.

The customs crossing was the most confusing. I remember reading about the excessive waits, but there were three lines and I had to ask which line I was supposed to be in. The three lanes were General Public, Ready Pass, and Sentri. General Public was the longest line and for everyone using the standard passport. Ready Pass were for folks with specific documentation. For US citizen, this is the passport card instead of the passport book. Sentri as shortest, but required a special Sentri program identification card. Check the CBP website for more information. I will be looking into a passport card before my next trip. I did find a couple of websites that gave excellent information on wait times. The CBP have a website, updated every hour, that shows current wait times. Check it out at (http://bwt.cbp.gov/). There is also an online chart that shows average wait times for each day of the week. I found this (http://traffic.calit2.net/border/border-wait-times.php?type=passenger&sub=standard&port=250401) to be very helpful on planning my second trip. It was rather accurate for me.

Not once during my trips to Tijuana did I ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Also, I did not stray from the area. My longest walk was down the block from Hong Kong to Adelita. It may be because of my experience traveling around the world, especially to third world countries. It did remind me of areas of Thailand and the Philippines, so I was surprised by the pan handlers and others looking to tips or handouts.

Overall, I preferred Adelita over Hong Kong. The quality of girls in Hong Kong was higher, but it cost more and was too loud for my taste. Adelita just felt more my style. It did take (literally) a few more minutes to find an 8 or 9, but there was enough good looking girls for me to choose from. Even in US clubs I tend to prefer the middle range clubs over the high glitz clubs. Just my personal preference based on my experience.

My total cost for two trips and three girls was $$ 2, including all transportation, drinks, hotels, girls, and tips (and dinner at McD waiting for the trolley back to downtown.) I was expecting a little more, but came in under budget. Some may do it for less, but I am happy with it.

I will be going back. I am already planning my next trip later this year. I now wish I had more trips to San Diego planned!

Not once during my trips to Tijuana did I ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Also, I did not stray from the area. My longest walk was down the block from Hong Kong to Adelita. It may be because of my experience traveling around the world, especially to third world countries. It did remind me of areas of Thailand and the Philippines, so I was surprised by the pan handlers and others looking to tips or handouts.

Overall, I preferred Adelita over Hong Kong. The quality of girls in Hong Kong was higher, but it cost more and was too loud for my taste. Adelita just felt more my style. It did take (literally) a few more minutes to find an 8 or 9, but there was enough good looking girls for me to choose from. Even in US clubs I tend to prefer the middle range clubs over the high glitz clubs. Just my personal preference based on my experience.

My total cost for two trips and three girls was $$ 2, including all transportation, drinks, hotels, girls, and tips (and dinner at McD waiting for the trolley back to downtown.) I was expecting a little more, but came in under budget. Some may do it for less, but I am happy with it.

I will be going back. I am already planning my next trip later this year. I now wish I had more trips to San Diego planned!

Went down today around 3 pm today Mon. 7/14 place is dead. Definitely staying away on Mondays from now on. Bars were dead. More cute street girls out than girls in the bars. Went up with a couple. Both were repeats. Was not disappointed. Caught a lot of rain early on but managed to stay dry. There is better SG's now and the crime has gone down. Much of this is because there more police around. There is typically 4-6 police around and this not counting the cops that drive around. 3 or 4 bars have cops that work as security outside. This is good thing since they serve a deterrent to the bandito's.

I find that it often takes a hour or two to find a SG that interests me. This is because normally 2 or 3 regulars depending who is available. Usually I telephone the girl and see if she is available or ask other people that I know in the Zona if they have any info. It's a bit of hassle sometimes, but it's well worth it.

Two hours for 200 pesos. Bottom floor is a garage and you walk upstairs. Tv with porno, shower with decent towels, and ac! 200 pesos is about 16 bucks. If you have a favorite street girl and want a comfy place for two hours check it out.

It is summertime and I have noticed some really long lines coming back in recent weeks. My advice is to come back later in the evening. Anytime after 10-11 p you should be fine. Lucky for me I have the ready lane pass and it is sweet walking past everybody in the regular line. Best thing they ever did down there. Safe travels STL.

There is a tollbooth type kiosk and a large courtyard with like 24 garage doors on the bottom floor and rooms above them. All you got to do is find somebody you want to spend two hours with. Actually the one hour rate is 100 pesos. (8 bucks) and two hours 200 pesos. 16 bucks.

Ask the street girl for trato de novios. That means more or less GFE. Make sure you get her to agree todo desnudo (all clothing off). Specify exactly what acts and covered or bareback for what acts and total price. The girls seem to be more open to dealing because it has been a slow start to their high season. Many girls have been having dry days (not a single customer). Figure that a good street girl might be 25 for 20 minutes plus 5 for the room. 30 for 20 minutes. Two hours would be 180 bucks mi m. Offer 1000 pesos for the two hours and it will be 200 for two hours at the auto-motel so 1200 pesos. About 96 bucks. Take your time walking around finding one you like and ask questions. If she tries to hurry you without direct answers move on to another. After two normal satisfying short sessions ask her about the two hour one at the other location. Just imagine how much a two hour session would cst at Hong Kong or a USA Strip club. The porn on the t. V. was actually annoying but they had two nice large towels and air conditioning.

I've had wonderful experiences with SG's. It's to the point now that's the only time I go upstairs. I've met a few that I know are going to perform just as good as a bar girl. And for half the cost. I will say that the rate is usually 20 and I always pay 30 so I always get good service. Also, the worst experiences I've had with SG's is when I was really drunk. Like everyone else they can pick up on that. Had a couple try to change the price on me when we were finished saying their rate was 60 or 80 dls which is absurd.
