I have never been to HK. I am anxious to head down and try it and intentionally got a GE card to hopefully make it easier to get in / out quickly. If I have my GE card and my passport book. Do I get into a different line when crossing back into the US and how quickly on average can I cross back in?

Mostly Asian and American tourists who aren't too familiar with the scene and don't know any better.

You should shoot for the $100-120 range or 2000-2500 if you're paying in pesos. That's the going rate for us who go down on a regular basis and know not to overspend.

If you take a passport card, they may just give you a piece of paper and stamp that. So far only had one person stamp my book and stamped it over some nice stamps I got from other countries. The girl appeared to be very bubbly and gave him a quick peck on the lips before heading up to the girl's changing area. I figured she was getting off duty considering what time it was. Hung out about another 15 minutes, people watching, when I saw her come back down. She passed right by me and I tried to make eye contact but she didn't seem to notice and kept walking. She walked to the opposite side of the club trying to attract any takers. I took a seat near where she was standing at, hoping she would walk by again, as I didn't feel like making a cold approach. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later she finally headed in my direction when it appeared like she was going to keep walking, I knew I couldn't let her slip away again. I introduced myself and invited her to sit for a drink. She told me her name was Roxy and kindly took me up on my offer. I asked what she was doing still hanging around at this time and she said she got off at 6. At this point it was around 4:30 or so.

We started chatting away and she said it was her first week working at the club. I hadn't seen her around before and I'm there on a pretty regular basis so she was probably telling the truth.

Also I seen the Mexican police turn people away for no passport. Sunday nights at the HK is pretty good. Real chill and you actually get to choose what lady you want unlike on Friday and Saturday where there are a lot more guys than girls and you have to fight over the one you want. Got dropped off by the HK shuttle at the border at 4 am and the line was like 3-4 miles long, luckily I have GE and went across asap.

The way to go is getting the passport and the passport card.

The card works at the land border with Mexico (not for air travel) and nobody will stamp it.

But you can go back and forth without any problems.

It's only 30 dollars more if you get passport and card at the same time. Otherwise I believe it's 65 for the card as a separate application.

Last time I drove down, years ago, and did not have Global Entry and went through the Global Entry anyways. I played dumb, said it was a mistake. They let me through and said don't do it again. Now I have GlobalPass and vehicle registered with Sentry and trying to decide if I should drive or walk across. After your report I think I will drive. I assume you walked? They would not stop a vehicle entering and ask for passport and stamp it, I am thinking?

At the time driving seemed so much faster with a Sentry pass and was thinking why would I ever walk. Straight through to La Mansion and then back without having to walk across, then walk to vehicle.
